MEDICAL VESSELS WITH DYNAMIC FLUID TRANSFER LOCK MECHANISM
The present invention relates, in some embodiments thereof, to devices, systems and methods for establishing a fluid passageway between vessels. In some embodiments, the invention provides a system that comprises a first vessel; a second vessel configured to be coupled to the first vessel; and a plunger locking mechanism disposed on the first vessel and configured to lock a plunger thereof and prevent the plunger from expelling content of the first vessel prior to an engagement with the second vessel, wherein the first and/or second vessel(s) comprise(s) an unlock mechanism configured to unlock the lock mechanism of the first vessel, and wherein at the time of or following the engagement between the first vessel and the second vessel, the unlock mechanism unlocks the lock mechanism of the plunger, allowing movement thereof and thereby a fluid transfer from the first vessel to the second vessel.
MEDICAL VESSELS WITH VALVES AND VALVE LOCK-UNLOCK MECHANISMS
The present invention relates, in some embodiments thereof, to devices, systems and methods for establishing a fluid passageway between vessels. In some embodiments, the invention provides a system for the engagement and establishment of fluid passageway between vessels, the system comprises a first vessel comprising a valve; and a second vessel configured to be coupled to the first vessel; wherein the second vessel comprises a valve unlock mechanism configured to unlock/open the valve, and wherein at about the time of or following the engagement between the first and second vessels, the valve unlock mechanism unlocks/opens the valve, allowing a fluid transfer between the vessels.
MEDICAL VESSELS AND SYSTEMS WITH PIERCING MEMBERS AND UNLOCK MECHANISMS
The present invention relates, in some embodiments thereof, to devices, systems and methods for establishing a fluid passageway between vessels. In some embodiments, the invention provides a system for the engagement and establishment of fluid passageway between vessels, the system comprises a first and second vessels configured to be coupled to each other wherein at least one of the first and second vessels comprises a piercing member disposed within the vessel in a retracted position wherein the piercing member confined within/adjacent a port or aperture of the vessel, the piercing member configured to pierce through a cover/seal of the vessel at about the time of or following the engagement between the first and second vessels, thereby establishing a fluid transfer between the vessels.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR THE REHYDRATION AND UTILIZATION OF A DEHYDRATED LIQUID SUBSTANCE
A portable device may contain a liquid and a dehydrated substance, for example an edible substance, which can be mixed for rehydration. The portable device also includes a device for using the rehydrated substance. The method includes device operation steps to mix the substance and the liquid and at the same time prepare the device for using the rehydrated liquid substance. The device and method are especially adapted for use during daily trips.
MEDICAL VESSELS WITH PERMANENT ENGAGEMENT MECHANISMS
The present invention relates, in some embodiments thereof, to devices, systems and methods with a locking mechanism that allows a secure connection between vessels. In some embodiments, the locking mechanism allows a secure engagement between a vessel and a cartridge. In some embodiments, the locking mechanism allows a secure engagement between a vessel and a decontamination device. In some embodiments, the locking mechanism allows a secure engagement between two vessels.
DEVICE FOR COLLECTING A SAMPLE OF A LIQUID CONTAINED IN A CONTAINER, ASSOCIATED CONTAINER, AND USE OF THIS CONTAINER
The invention relates in particular to a device (100) for collecting a sample of a liquid in a container, characterized in that it has: a housing (10) with a longitudinal axis (AL); a component (20, 20, 20) comprising: a body (26) provided with at least one channel (21) having a proximal end (21p) and a distal end (21d); a receptacle (24) fixed with respect to the body (26) and situated in the continuation of the proximal end (21p) of said at least one channel (21), said component (20) being mounted rotatably with respect to the housing (10) about the longitudinal axis of this housing (10) between a closure position, in which the distal end (21d) of said at least one channel (21) is closed by the housing (10), and an open position, in which the distal end (21d) of said at least one channel (21) is able to establish a fluidic communication with the container; and an elastic valve (30) housed in the receptacle (24).
DISPENSER FOR A COMPOSITION IN THE FORM OF POWDER IN A CONTAINER, AND CONTAINER OF THE FEEDING BOTTLE TYPE PROVIDED WITH SUCH A DISPENSER
A dispenser for a powder in a container, containing a receptacle including an end wall provided with at least one orifice, an adapter including a tubular body provided with a transverse partition provided with at least one orifice, the receptacle being rotatable on the adapter between a closed position of the dispenser, in which the orifice in the receptacle and the orifice in the adapter are not aligned with one another, and an open position of the dispenser, in which the orifice in the receptacle and the orifice in the adapter are positioned in line with one another, and a sealing component comprising an upper annular part and a lower annular part arranged so as to ensure sealing between the container and the adapter and between the adapter and the container, respectively, when the adapter is mounted on the container.
DEVICES AND SYSTEMS FOR CONTAMINANT-FREE ENGAGEMENT AND FLUID TRANSFER OF PHARMACEUTICAL VESSELS AND PHARMACEUTICAL ADMINISTRATION DEVICES
The present invention relates, in some embodiments thereof, to systems, devices and methods allowing for an engagement of two or more vessels or devices in a decontaminated manner. In some embodiments of the invention, the systems and devices of the invention include a first connection interface attached to a first vessel and a second connection interface attached to a second vessel, wherein the first connection interface and the second connection interface are configured to allow for an engagement between the first vessel and the second vessel, and wherein the first and second connection interfaces are further configured to externally displace from the engagement between the first vessel and the second vessel while a hermetically sealed connection is maintained between the first vessel and the second vessel.
Perforating needle for flask with septum
A perforating needle intended to be inserted into a flask through a stopper or septum to inject and remove a fluid includes a pointed end for piercing the stopper and a cylindrical body. The central body includes a central channel through which the fluid may enter and leave the flask and a side wall having at least one lateral orifice. The orifice is in fluid communication with the central channel. A lower end of the orifice is, in use, essentially level with an inner face of the stopper. The orifice is extended toward the pointed end by at least one slot, a shape of which is essentially tangential to a flow of the fluid so as to channel the fluid along an axis of the needle. The side wall includes at least two diametrically opposite lateral orifices arranged on either side of a central island.
