[Problem] To allow an inner container and an outer container to be easily detached from one another in a double-walled container comprising a bottomed, cylindrical inner container nested in a similarly bottomed, cylindrical outer container.

[Solution] A double-walled container (1) comprises an outer container (20) that is a bottomed, cylindrical container made of a material with high rigidity, and whose cylindrical body has a horizontal cross-sectional shape with an inner perimeter surface thereof being circular; and an inner container (10) that is a bottomed, cylindrical container, and whose cylindrical body has a horizontal cross-sectional shape with an outer perimeter surface thereof being a non-circular shape, a radius of a circle circumscribed around the non-circular shape being greater than a radius of the inner perimeter surface of the outer container (20), and the inner container being elastically deformed so as to have portions thereof snugly fit in the inner perimeter surface of the outer container (20) when placed inside the outer container (20) such that respective cylindrical axes are parallel to each other.

Replacement type container

A replacement type container that facilitates an operation of separating an inner container and prevents an outer container from dropping off at the time of latching release of an engagement portion. The replacement type container includes an inner container that houses a content, an outer container that houses the inner container, and a cap attached to the inner container.

Pot for cosmetic product

A pot for a cosmetic product including a base topped by a substantially cylindrical neck defining an opening, and a lid equipped with a seal having top and bottom surfaces. The neck of the pot has a rim with an inner periphery having a shoulder forming a concave surface. The bottom surface of the seal includes a flexible annular lip that has a convex shape on an outer peripheral wall which, when the lid is tightened on the base, matches the concave surface over at least a portion of the height of the shoulder and presses sealingly against the rim around the entire inner periphery of same to sealingly close the pot. The flexibility of the seal and the shape of the lip thereof, which complements that of the rim, allow it to be deformed to be able to compensate for dimensional irregularities during at manufacture ensuring tight sealing.

LIP BALM WITH SPHERICAL SURFACE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING

A lip balm applicator product comprises upper and lower portions that are connectable together to define the applicator product being of a substantially spherical shape. A support platform is located in the lower portion and accommodates a quantity of lip balm having an arcuate surface. A lip balm comprises a composition of waxes and oils in solid form and formed to have an arcuate surface. The composition is formed to have the arcuate surface using a hot pour process. A method of manufacturing a lip balm comprises providing a receptacle having a concave arcuate surface. A lip balm material in a heated, liquefied phase is poured into the receptacle. Once poured, the heated, liquefied phase is allowed to solidify such that a surface of the solidified lip balm material has an arcuate configuration that corresponds to the concave arcuate surface of the receptacle.

COSMETIC JAR HAVING REPLACEABLE INNER CUP

A cosmetic jar having a replaceable inner cup is provided. Two symmetric tabs are provided at an upper opening of an inner cup, the tabs each are provided with a tab clamping portion, accommodation regions recessed inward in a radial direction and shaped as a notch are symmetrically formed on an external thread of the outer jar, and an outer jar clamping portion is respectively provided at the accommodation regions. When the tabs are bent downward, the tab clamping portion can be clamped in the outer jar clamping portion to connect the inner cup into the outer jar. After materials in the original inner cup is used up, the empty inner cup can be taken out by releasing the connection between the tab clamping portion and the outer jar clamping portion, and a replacement inner cup is placed and fastened in the outer jar.

Compostable wood composite material

A container for cosmetic products and a method of manufacturing the same. The container, such as a jar, has a wall formed by a first layer of a compostable material which comprises in combination a biodegradable polymer which forms a continuous matrix and, mixed therein, particles of a hydrophilic material capable of swelling inside the matrix upon water absorption. The container further comprises a second layer of a compostable material which comprises a biodegradable polymer which forms a continuous matrix and which is essentially free from particles of a hydrophilic material capable of swelling inside the matrix, or contains essentially less of them than the first layer. The container is degradable in compost, disintegration of the container wall, at 58° C., occurring within 12 weeks.

A method and system or kit is provided, where makeup containing an alkane and a styrenic block copolymer can be easily removed if a separate makeup-removing composition that includes an alkane and a low viscosity dimethicone (having a viscosity of 60,000 cst or less) is applied. The dimethicone in this viscosity range causes the styrenic block copolymer to gel. After allowing a short period of time for the gelling to occur, the gelled copolymer and the remainder of the makeup can then be readily removed.
