LIQUID TRANSFER DEVICE WITH INTEGRAL TELESCOPIC VIAL ADAPTER FOR USE WITH INFUSION LIQUID CONTAINER AND DISCRETE INJECTION VIAL
Liquid transfer devices with an integral telescopic vial adapter for use with an infusion liquid container and an initially non-punctured intact discrete injection vial. The integral telescopic vial adapter is configured for initial telescopic snap mounting on a discrete injection vial leaving its injection vial stopper non-punctured until a subsequent compaction for puncturing the injection vial stopper. The integral telescopic vial adapter includes a safety catch mechanism for precluding advertent compaction from a pre-compacted state to a compacted state. The integral telescopic vial adapter includes a clamping arrangement for irreversibly clamping same in its final compacted state.
Liquid drug transfer devices for use with intact discrete injection vial release tool
Liquid drug transfer devices including an integral telescopic vial adapter for telescoping from an initial pre-compacted state to a final compacted state. In the initial pre-compacted state, the vial adapter telescopically snap fits on an initially non-punctured intact discrete injection vial leaving its injection vial stopper non-punctured. In the final compacted state, the vial adapter punctures the injection vial stopper. The liquid drug transfer device is used with an intact discrete injection vial release tool for applying a pincers-like compression for convenient release of a non-punctured intact discrete injection vial in the initial pre-compacted state. The vial adapter includes a clamping arrangement for irreversibly clamping same in the final compacted state. The vial adapter precludes release of a punctured discrete injection vial in its final compacted state.

Drug vial adapter assemblages including vented drug vial adapter and vented liquid vial adapter
Dual vial adapter assemblage for use with a drug vial and a liquid vial and including a vented drug vial adapter and a vented liquid vial adapter such that simultaneous venting of the liquid vial and the drug vial assists gravitational flow of liquid contents from the liquid vial into the drug vial for forming liquid drug therein.
INSTALLATION FOR PRODUCING A MEDICAL PREPARATION
The invention relates to an installation for producing a medical preparation, in particular for producing a preparation for parenteral nutrition. Liquids are transferred by means of the installation from a plurality of source containers to a target container. The installation comprises a receptacle with drivers for a valve block, wherein the drivers of the valves are arranged offset from one another.
PRE-STERILIZABLE CARRIER SYSTEM
A method for filling dual-chamber systems in pre-sterilizable carrier systems includes providing at least one washed, siliconized and sterilized dual-chamber system in a magazine. The dual-chamber system includes respective separating elements separating the two chambers from each other. The magazine accommodates at least one dual-chamber system and is arranged in a container that is sealed with a closing element. The method additionally includes introducing the container into a clean room; opening the container and filling a first chamber of the at least one dual-chamber system; and closing the first chamber. The method further includes filling a second chamber of the at least one dual-chamber system; closing the second chamber; and removing the system from the clean room.
DUAL VIAL ADAPTER ASSEMBLAGES INCLUDING TWIN VENTED FEMALE VIAL ADAPTERS
Dual vial adapter assemblages having a triple component construction as follows: a first vented female vial adapter for telescopic mounting on a drug vial, a second vented female vial adapter for telescopic mounting on a liquid vial and a tubular liquid transfer coupler for coupling the first vented female vial adapter and the second vented female vial adapter for establishing a dual sealed lumen arrangement therebetween. The dual sealed lumen arrangement includes a central sealed liquid lumen for gravitational flow of liquid contents from a liquid vial to a drug vial and a sealed air lumen radial outward from the central sealed liquid lumen for venting air displaced from the drug vial to the liquid vial for assisting the gravitational flow of liquid contents by creating a closed system between the liquid vial and the drug vial.
DRUG MIXER, HARD DUAL-PORT MEMBER, AND SOFT INFUSION BAG
This invention discloses a medication mixer, dual hard dual ports, and a soft intravenous bag. The medication mixer comprises a base, a medication mixing passage, a medication mixing cup, and a cross needle which are integrally formed. The medication mixing cup consists of a cup wall and a cup bottom. The cross needle consists of an integrated needle plate, and an upper needle and lower needle with hollow passages which are communicated with each other. The lower end of the medication mixing passage penetrates through the base, with the upper ends penetrating through the cup bottom. A membrane is arranged in the medication mixing passage between the base and the cup bottom, and a rubber plug is arranged in the medication mixing passage between the membrane and the cup bottom. A limit protrusion is arranged on an inner wall of the cup wall.
PRIMARY PACKAGING
A primary packaging (1) for a liquid comprising, in particular, an at least partially collapsible container (2) and a connector element (3) for connection of the primary packaging (1) to a withdrawal device. The connector element (3) has at least one connector channel (4) which is in fluid communication with an interior space (5) of the container (2). The container (2) is composed at least partially of a foil (6) which is constructed from a first layer which, during intended use of the primary packaging (1), comes into direct contact with the liquid. Both the first layer (7) and the connector element (3) are composed of a plastics material comprising at least one cyclic olefin polymer.
Device for Vacuum and Vent Tube Stoppering a Medical Container
The present invention relates to a device for vacuum and vent tube stoppering a medical container. The device includes a main body defining an internal volume that has a first variable pressure chamber configured to be connected to a vacuum pump, the main body being configured to receive the proximal end of a medical container so that said medical container is in communication with the first variable pressure chamber. A vent device including a vent tube is moveable inside the internal volume of the main body along a longitudinal axis between a proximal rest position and a distal operative position. A piston rod is moveable inside the internal volume of the vent tube along the longitudinal axis between a proximal rest position and a distal operative position. A container holder system is provided in the main body, in communication with the first variable pressure chamber.
