Dual vial adapter assemblages including identical twin vial adapters
Dual vial adapter assemblages including two identical twin vial adapters each having an upright vial adapter connector of a first connector type and a dual ended liquid transfer coupler interdisposed between the two identical twin vial adapters and having a pair of opposite coupler ends in the form of twin connectors of a second connector type for sealed engagement with the vial adapter connectors of the first connector type.
LIQUID TRANSFER DEVICE WITH INTEGRAL TELESCOPIC VIAL ADAPTER FOR USE WITH INFUSION LIQUID CONTAINER AND DISCRTE INJECTION VIAL
Liquid transfer devices with an integral telescopic vial adapter for use with an infusion liquid container and an initially non-punctured intact discrete injection vial. The integral telescopic vial adapter is configured for initial telescopic snap mounting on a discrete injection vial leaving its injection vial stopper non-punctured until a subsequent compaction for puncturing the injection vial stopper. The integral telescopic vial adapter includes a safety catch mechanism for precluding advertent compaction from a pre-compacted state to a compacted state. The integral telescopic vial adapter includes a clamping arrangement for irreversibly clamping same in its final compacted state.
INTEGRATED STRUCTURE OF PREPARATION SYRINGE
An integrated structure of a preparation syringe includes a stretchable piston, a barrel, a needle, an exposed rubber plug, a sealing sheet, a built-in rubber plug, a sealing rubber plug and an engaging rubber plug. One end of the barrel is provided with the stretchable piston, and another end of the barrel is provided with a clamping column. The exposed rubber plug is provided on a side of the stretchable piston away from the barrel. The built-in rubber plug is provided within the barrel. A Scale mark is provided on a circumferential surface of the barrel. The sealing rubber plug is inlaid and sleeved on the clamping column. The sealing sheet is provided on a side of exposed tuber plug away from the barrel. A blunt end is provided at an end of the needle away form a needle tip. The engaging rubber plug is provided outside the blunt end.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR MULTI-LIQUID STORAGE AND MIXING
Various embodiments are generally directed to devices and methods for multi-liquid storage and mixing, such as with a medical liquid packaging device (MLPD), for instance. Some embodiments are particularly directed to an MLPD that includes first and second reservoirs that store separate liquids that may be selectively combined prior to administration to a patient. In one or more embodiments, for example, a device for medical liquid packaging may include a first reservoir and a dispensing port with a second reservoir. In a first state, a flow preventer separates the liquid in the first reservoir from the liquid in the second reservoir. Actuation of an actuator, such as by depression of the actuator, dislodges the flow preventer, allowing fluid communication between the first reservoir and the second reservoir.
LIQUID DRUG TRANSFER DEVICES FOR USE WITH INTACT DISCRETE INJECTION VIAL RELEASE TOOL
Liquid drug transfer devices including an integral telescopic vial adapter for telescoping from an initial pre-compacted state to a final compacted state. In the initial pre-compacted state, the vial adapter telescopically snap fits on an initially non-punctured intact discrete injection vial leaving its injection vial stopper non-punctured. In the final compacted state, the vial adapter punctures the injection vial stopper. The liquid drug transfer device is used with an intact discrete injection vial release tool for applying a pincers-like compression for convenient release of a non-punctured intact discrete injection vial in the initial pre-compacted state. The vial adapter includes a clamping arrangement for irreversibly clamping same in the final compacted state. The vial adapter precludes release of a punctured discrete injection vial in its final compacted state.
DRUG VIAL ADAPTER ASSEMBLAGES INCLUDING VENTED DRUG VIAL ADAPTER AND VENTED LIQUID VIAL ADAPTER
Dual vial adapter assemblage for use with a drug vial and a liquid vial and including a vented drug vial adapter and a vented liquid vial adapter such that simultaneous venting of the liquid vial and the drug vial assists gravitational flow of liquid contents from the liquid vial into the drug vial for forming liquid drug therein.
DEVICES AND SYSTEMS FOR CONTAMINANT-FREE ENGAGEMENT AND FLUID TRANSFER OF PHARMACEUTICAL VESSELS AND PHARMACEUTICAL ADMINISTRATION DEVICES
The present invention relates, in some embodiments thereof, to systems, devices and methods allowing for an engagement of two or more vessels or devices in a decontaminated manner. In some embodiments of the invention, the systems and devices of the invention include a first connection interface attached to a first vessel and a second connection interface attached to a second vessel, wherein the first connection interface and the second connection interface are configured to allow for an engagement between the first vessel and the second vessel, and wherein the first and second connection interfaces are further configured to externally displace from the engagement between the first vessel and the second vessel while a hermetically sealed connection is maintained between the first vessel and the second vessel.
TWO-CHAMBER CARPULE
The disclosure provides a two-chamber carpule comprising two-chambers adapted to be joined together. Each chamber is adapted to contain a medicament component. The carpule further comprises a bevel arranged on a circumference of at least one of the chambers in a transition area. The bevel extends from one chamber to the other chamber.
