The system further including a connector configured for receipt within the interior cavity. The connector having a body having a distal end, a proximal end, and a sidewall extending between the distal end and the proximal end and defining a fluid passageway therethrough, and a locking arrangement provided on at least a portion of an inner member of the connector and accessible through at least a portion of an outer member of the connector. The locking arrangement is configured for cooperating with the at least one protrusion to prevent rotation of the inner member relative to the outer member.
Syringe adapter with cap
A syringe adapter is provided. The adapter includes a housing having a first end and a second end positioned opposite the first end. The first end of the housing has a connector configured to be secured to a syringe barrel. The adapter also includes a cannula positioned within the housing and a seal arrangement including a membrane or septum positioned within the housing and movable within the housing, the seal arrangement comprising a membrane. The assembly can also include a protective cap having a first open end and a second closed end. The protective cap can be connected to the housing via a snap fit and can be configured to receive the second end of the housing.
CONNECTING DEVICE CONFIGURED TO CONNECT A CONTAINER TO A VIAL
The connecting device includes a mounting portion configured to be mounted on a vial; a female coupling end piece intended to be coupled to the male coupling end piece of a container; a perforation element configured to perforate a perforable closure element equipping the vial; a protective cap which is removable and which at least partially delimits an inner chamber in which the female coupling end piece extends; at least one passage orifice opening into the inner chamber and intended for the passage of a sterilization gas; and a closing membrane located upstream of the at least one passage orifice relative to a direction of circulation of the sterilization gas through the connecting device, the closing membrane being porous and permeable to the sterilization gas.
METHODS, SYSTEMS AND DEVICES FOR ADMINISTERING MEDICATION
Systems, methods and devices for administering medication are disclosed. One or more embodiments of a medication delivery device may include a syringe, a needle, a guiding element, and a volume limiter for limiting the amount of medication that can be drawn from a vial. At least one method for administering medication using a medication delivery device, may include: inserting a vial into a guiding element, drawing back on a plunger, removing the guiding element and the vial from a needle to expose the needle, inserting the needle into a patient, depressing the plunger to inject the medication into the patient, and withdrawing the medication delivery device from the patient.
TWO-CHAMBER TYPE COMBINED CONTAINER-SYRINGE
The present invention provides a two-chamber type combined container-syringe including: a cylinder having a first end portion, a second end portion in an opposite direction of the first end portion, and a bypass portion disposed between the first end portion and the second end portion; a finger grip mounted on the second end portion of the cylinder; a first stopper, a second stopper, and a third stopper that are sequentially disposed from the first end portion toward the second end portion in a space of the cylinder; and a plunger rod that is connected to the third stopper and has a plurality of support ribs provided to come in contact with an inner surface of the finger grip, wherein a space between the first stopper and the second stopper forms a front chamber, a space between the second stopper and the third stopper forms a rear chamber, a first ingredient and a second ingredient are accommodated in the front chamber and the rear chamber, respectively, a length ratio of the front chamber and the rear chamber is in a range of 1.6:1 to 3:1 when the plunger rod is at an initial position which is a state before the front chamber and the rear chamber communicate with each other through the bypass portion, and at the initial position, one or more support ribs are disposed in at least one of the finger grip and a region in the cylinder that is adjacent to the finger grip.
Pressure-regulating vial adaptors
In certain embodiments, a vial adaptor comprises a housing configured to couple the adaptor with a vial, an access channel, a regulator channel, and a regulator assembly. The access channel is configured to facilitate withdrawal of fluid from the vial when the adaptor is coupled to the vial. The regulator channel is configured to facilitate a flow of a regulating fluid from the regulator assembly to compensate for changes in volume of a medical fluid in the vial. In some embodiments, the regulator assembly includes a flexible member configured to expand and contract in accordance with changes in the volume of the medical fluid in the vial. In some embodiments, the flexible member is substantially free to expand and contract. In some embodiments, the flexible member is not partly or completely located in a rigid enclosure.
FEMALE-FEMALE ADAPTER
The invention is directed to a female-female syringe adapter, related systems, and methods of using the female-female adapter. The female-female syringe adapter may be used with male nozzles of syringes and reconstitution devices when reconstituting a lyophilized powder. The female-female adapter also may be used to combine doses in a common syringe from mixed reconstitution products in a multi-chambered syringe.
SAFETY DRUG HANDLING DEVICE
A drug mixing system including at least one receptacle port adaptor adapted to be inserted into a port of a fluid receptacle, at least one syringe adaptor adapted to be attached to a syringe and to the at least one receptacle port adaptor and at least one vial adaptor adapted for connection to a vial containing a drug and adapted for connection to the at least one syringe adaptor, the system being characterized in that at least one of the receptacle port adaptor, the at least one syringe adaptor and the at least one vial adaptor being vented to the atmosphere in a manner which prevents release to the atmosphere of possibly harmful contents of the vial in a liquid, solid or gaseous form.
