Gingivitis gum serum
A gingivitis gum serum having a collagen building complex comprising between about 0.10 and 10.00 percent by weight of a stable Vitamin C derivative and between about 0.03 and 15.0 percent by weight of an amino acid complex primarily consisting of L-glycine, L-proline, L-lysine and mixtures thereof, a multi-mineral organo complex for healthy cell and tissue generation and an orally acceptable antimicrobial in a soft tissue delivery base for manual or vibratory application.
Skin care compositions and methods for regulating sebum production
The present disclosure is directed to a composition for managing exaggerated sebum production in oily-prone skin, the composition containing: (1) a mixture of at least: (a) from about 0.02 to about 1% by weight of an ingredient capable of activating cannabinoid type-2 receptors (“CB.sub.2”); (b) from about 0.1 to about 3% by weight of a blend of Tetraselmis chuii and Fucus spiralis algae extracts; (c) from about 0.1 to about 4% by weight of an extract of Centella asiatica; and (d) from about 0.01 to about 0.05% by weight of an extract of Tulsi, wherein all weights are based on total weight of the composition; (2) optionally, an emulsifier; and (3) a dermatologically acceptable carrier, wherein the composition has a pH ranging from about 4.5 to about 5.5.
ANTIPERSPIRANT COMPOSITIONS
Natural antiperspirant compositions comprising benzaldehyde, honokiol or capsaicin and their method of use.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR PROMOTING AND/OR MAINTAINING VAGINOVULVAL AND PERIANAL TISSUE VITALITY AND TISSUE HEALTH
The described invention provides a cosmetic composition formulated for topical application containing a water-based gel component comprising hyaluronic acid; a botanical ingredient component comprising decarboxylated cannabidiol (CBD) representing about 20% of an isolate, and a cosmetic composition stabilizing system comprising arginine, p-anisic acid, and levulinic acid, wherein the composition is a slightly viscous non-occluded water based liquid; pH of the finished product ranges from about 4.0 to about 5.0; and the composition is not psychoactive. The described invention also provides methods for promoting and maintaining vaginovulval and perianal tissue vitality and tissue health in a subject in need thereof by administering the composition topically to the subject.
Composition for combating the signs of ageing of the skin and hair and nails
A composition for topical application containing at least one combination of (a) polyphenols selected from proanthocyanidin monomers and oligomers (OPC), hydroxystilbenes, flavonoid monomers and oligomers, and derivatives and mixtures thereof, (b) a spruce extract having at least one lignan selected from: hydroxymatairesinol, secoisolariciresinol, conidendrin, lariciresinol and liovile. It also relates to the cosmetic use of such a combination for combating the signs of ageing of the skin or hair and nails or the effects of pollution, and a cosmetic treatment method using said combination.
Non-soap liquid cleanser composition comprising caprylic acid
This invention relates to syndet-based compositions having pH of 4.5 to 5.5 wherein use of caprylic acid has been unexpectedly found to enhance bacterial kill.
Topical cream-based cosmetic and wound healing formulations and methods of use
A cream formulation or topical use made of a mixture of naturally occurring biologically active phytochemical compounds that possess a variety of beneficial animal and human health effects. An extract from an aqueous extraction process or other active ingredients could be used in the cream formulation. The present invention generally provides for the preparation of cream formulations containing active ingredients that contain individually, or in combination, an analgesic, natural product extracts, or a protein or proteins from the tripartite motif family of proteins (TRIM). The analgesic will provide mitigation of pain during the healing process.
CONTROLLED RELEASE SYSTEM OF PHYTOCANNABINOIDS FORMULATIONS SOLUBLE IN AQUEOUS MEDIA, METHODS AND USES THEREOF
The present invention refers to a controlled release system of phytocannabinoids formulation soluble in aqueous media comprising phytocannabinoids, or derivatives thereof, a non-ionic surfactant and a cross-linked polymer, wherein the pH of the compositions ranges between 4 and 9, and wherein the weight ratio of cannabinoid/hyaluronic acid is 50:1 to 1:50, and the weight ratio cannabinoid/non-ionic surfactant is 1:30 to 1:1. The invention also refers to methods of producing the controlled release system of cannabinoids formulation soluble in aqueous medium and the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and nutraceutical applications thereof. The methods of the present invention allow the cross-linking of hyaluronic acid containing encapsulated or vehiculized phytocannabinoids at neutral pH, avoiding the degradation of the phytocannabinoids and preserving its functionality.
Use of chelating agents for improving color stability of resorcinol
Cosmetic compositions are widely used to obtain certain benefits like e.g. anti-aging, skin lightening and moisturizing effect. These benefits are delivered by benefit agents (actives) like e.g. anti-oxidants, hyaluronic acid and resorcinol, pheynylethyl resorcinol and 4-alkyl substituted resorcinol. However, these actives have a certain shelf life beyond which they tend to degrade in terms of chemical activity and/or their color stability. The present invention discloses a novel process to prepare cosmetic compositions that improved color stability of resorcinol, pheynylethyl resorcinol and 4-alkyl substituted resorcinol and compositions comprising such actives when prepared as per said process.
TOPICAL COMPOSITION COMPRISING CANNABIDIOL
A topical composition comprising an aqueous-based composition comprising cannabinoids, in particular cannabidiol, in niosomes having size lower than 500 nm, and at least one topically acceptable excipient, characterized in that said niosomes comprise (i) at least one linear or branched polyglycerol, esterified with saturated or monounsaturated linear fatty acids, (ii) at least one polysaccharide, and optionally (iii) at least one glycol having 4 to 16 carbon atoms.
