Cosmetic composition comprising an anionic surfactant, at least 3.5% by weight of a fatty acid and an antidandruff agent
The invention relates to a cosmetic composition which comprises: (i) one or more anionic surfactants, (ii) at least 3.5% by weight of one or more fatty acids, relative to the total weight of the composition, and (iii) one or more antidandruff agents, the anionic surfactant(s)/fatty acid(s) weight ratio being from 0.5 to 3.5. The invention also relates to the use of said composition for washing and conditioning the hair.
Topical antiseptic system
Novel antimicrobial compositions and kits thereof containing these antimicrobial compositions, methods of manufacture and methods of use thereof are disclosed. The novel aqueous transdermal or topical delivery systems are useful, inter alia, for treatment of various microbial infections, including for use on tissue infections, particularly skin antisepsis and/or nasal mucosal tissue antisepsis to a mammalian host in need thereof.
Hair treatment composition
A hair treatment composition comprising (a) from 0.01 to 10 wt % of surfactant in a solvent, by weight of the total composition, and (b) a mixture of amino acids, wherein the mixture of amino acids comprises glutamic acid, alanine and proline gives damage repair benefits to chemically damaged hair.
Volumizing and lengthening eyelash coating compositions
The invention relates to an eyelash coating compositions comprising water, at least one polyelectrolytic compound, at least one film-forming agent, at least two waxes, and an emulsification system comprising low HLB emulsifier(s) (HLB value less than 8) and high HLB emulsifier(s) (HLB value greater than 16), as well as to methods of using such compositions.
Synergistic Cationic Surfactant System
The present disclosure pertains to compositions that include the synergistic combination of cationic surfactants cetyl trimethyl ammonium chloride and quaternium-82, methods involving the application of such compounds to hair, methods for making hair conditioners using such compounds, and uses of compositions containing such compounds for conditioning of hair for reducing tangling, increasing the ease of combing, increasing softness, and increasing luster/shine.
KERATINOUS FIBER CARE PRODUCT AND METHOD
Cosmetic products and methods for the care of keratin-containing fibers using the cosmetic products are provided herein. In an embodiment, a cosmetic product includes a) a cosmetic preparation and b) a device for the flash evaporation of the cosmetic preparation a). The a cosmetic preparation a) includes, based on its total weight, a1) from about 70 to about 99% by weight of a polar solvent and a2) at least about 0.1% by weight of care components.
PROCESS FOR RESHAPING KERATIN FIBERS
Processes and kits-of-parts reshape keratin fibers by applying a composition onto hair and covering the hair, wherein the composition comprises ammonia and one or more organic alkalizing agents. Additionally, the hair is put under tension using a curler with covering the curler with a moisture barrier, and heating the keratin fibers. As a result, long-lasting curl having cosmetic properties are achievable and an ammonia smell is reduced when directly compared to compositions having no organic alkalizing agent.
COMPOSITION AND PROCESS FOR REDUCING THE DRYING TIME OF SOLID SUBSTRATES
The present invention relates to a composition and process for reducing the drying time of solid substrate. A cationic surfactant in combination with low molecular weight dimethylpolysiloxanes provide for a faster water drainage.
Formulation comprising ester quats based on isopropanolamine
Cosmetic formulations including specific ester quats based on isopropanolamine are provided, as well as the use of these ester quats in cosmetics.
COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a composition containing (A) a compound represented by the following general formula (1) or a salt thereof:
##STR00001##
[two R.sup.1's each independently represent a hydroxy group or an acetoxy group; R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom or —COOR (R is a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group); and R.sup.3 is a hydrogen atom, an acetyl group, or a methyl or ethyl group]; and (B) a cationic surfactant, wherein the content of the component (B) is 0.25 equivalents or more and less than 2 equivalents relative to the component (A).
