Photoprotective cosmetic composition and process for obtaining the same
The invention relates to a composition, in particular a cosmetic composition, characterized in that it comprises:—at least one monoglyceride,—at least one tartaric ester of monoglycerides based on C12-C22,—at least one UV filter,—at least one HLB surfactant greater than 10, and—at least one hydrophilic gelling agent wherein the content of said one or more surfactant(s) having a HLB greater than 10 is comprised between 0.2% and 10% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition.

There is provided a water-soluble additive composition including a cyclic carboxylic acid, the water-soluble additive composition satisfying at least one of the following Conditions 1 to 4: (Condition 1) component (A) the cyclic carboxylic acid, which is other than the following component (B1), and component (B1) one or more selected from the group consisting of gallic acid and an ester thereof are included; (Condition 2) the total content of Na+ and NH4+ is equal to or more than 100 ppm and equal to or less than 5000 ppm with respect to the cyclic carboxylic acid; (Condition 3) the total inorganic ion content (excluding hydrogen ions and hydroxyl group ions) is equal to or more than 300 ppm and equal to or less than 5000 ppm with respect to the cyclic carboxylic acid; and (Condition 4) component (A) the cyclic carboxylic acid, which is other than the following component (B2), and component (B2) an amino acid are included.

Sunscreen Compositions
Sunscreen compositions and sunscreen active ingredients are disclosed herein which comprise at least one ketone-containing UV filter and at least one primary or secondary amine wherein at least one ketone-containing UV filter and at least one primary or secondary amine react to form an imine analog of the ketone-containing UV filter wherein the imine analog has at least one property selected from the group consisting of a) is capable of extending UV protection into a visible region equal to or greater than 400 nm, b) is water resistant, and/or c) prevents or decreases skin penetration. This imine analog may be further modified to provide a substrate capable of reacting with transglutaminase or any variant thereof and/or a lysyl oxidase to bind the sunscreen composition or sunscreen active ingredient to a target of interest. Also disclosed are cosmetic or pharmaceutical preparations comprising any of the sunscreen compositions or sunscreen ingredients along with a cosmetically or pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
EFFICIENT SUNSCREEN COMPOSITIONS WITH DIETHYLAMINO HYDROXYBENZOYL HEXYL BENZOATE AND BUTYL METHOXYDIBENZOYLMETHANE FREE OF OCTOCRYLENE
The present invention relates to sunscreen or daily care composition comprising (i) hexyl 2-[4-(diethylamino)-2-hydroxybenzoyl]benzoate (INCI diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate); and (ii) 1-(4-(1,1-dimethylethyl)phenyl)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)propane-1,3-dione (INCI butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane); and (iii) 2,4-bis-{[4-(2-ethy-hexyoxy)-2-hydroxy]-pheny}-6-(4-methoxypheny)-1,3,5 triazine (INCI bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine); and (iv) 4,4′,4″-(1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyltriimino)tris-benzoic acid-tris(2-ethylhexyl)ester (INCI ethylhexyl triazone) and/or 4, 4′-[[6-[[4-[[(1,1-dimethylethyl)amino]carbonyl]phenyl]amino]-1,3,5-triazin-2,4-diyl]diimino]bis-benzoic acid-bis(2-ethylhexyl)ester (INCI diethyl-hexyl-butamidotriazone); and (v) at least one organic particulate UV filter, wherein the composition is free of ethylhexyl-2-cyano-3, 3-diphenyl-acrylate (INCI octocrylene), 2-ethylhexyl-(2E)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl) acrylate (INCI ethylhexyl methoxy cinnamate) and pp benzylidene malonates, and wherein the composition comprises diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexylbenzoate and butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane in a ratio of larger or equal to 0.8. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of said composition for the administration to sensitive skin. In addition, the present invention relates to the use of said composition to reduce sand adhesion after application of the composition on the skin.

A sunscreen composition can be mixed with a body wash, an after shower body lotion, a shampoo, a conditioner, a soap, a gel, a hand sanitizer, a cream, a spray, a mouse, a lotion, an ointment, a make-up product, a lip balm, a hair spray product, an arachnid/insect repellent or a medicinal product.
