MIXTURES OF COSMETIC UV ABSORBERS
Disclosed is a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition comprising a UV filter combination of (a) at least one benzotriazole derivative corresponding to the formula

Cosmetics comprising cosmetic compositions impregnated in hydrophobic polymer foam
The present disclosure relates to cosmetics including a foam for cosmetic composition impregnation including natural rubber (NR) and hydrophobic polymer as a polymer substrate for making the foam, and a cosmetic composition including an organic ultraviolet (UV) blocking component, that is impregnated in the foam. The present disclosure has a reduction in amount of the organic UV blocking component adsorbed to the impregnation material, and can obtain an excellent UV blocking effect.
Sunscreen Compositions Comprising Colour Pigments
Disclosed are cosmetic formulation comprising (a) particulates having an absorption in the range of 400 to 800 nm; and (b) UV filters selected from (b.sub.1) particulate organic UV-filters; and (b.sub.2) soluble organic UV filters.
OIL-IN-WATER TYPE SUNSCREEN COSMETIC
An oil-in-water type sunscreen cosmetic containing the following component (A) and the following component (B): (A) 1% by mass or more and 40% by mass or less of emulsion particles containing an oil soluble ultraviolet ray absorbent (a1), having an average particle diameter of more than 6 μm and 300 μm or less, and (B) 0.3% by mass or more and 2.5% by mass or less of particles containing an oil soluble ultraviolet ray absorbent (b3) encompassed by an ionic surfactant (b1) and a hydrophobic amphiphilic substance (b2), having a content of a solid oil agent of 2.5% by mass or less based on the total amount of the particles, having an average particle diameter of 6 μm or less.
Solubilization of triazine UV-screening agents with arylalkyl benzoate compounds/amide-based oils and photoprotective compositions comprised thereof
Topcially applicable photoprotective compositions having improved sun protection factor, cosmetic properties and/or stability contain: (a) at least one 1,3,5-triazine UV-screening agent, (b) at least one mixture including: (i) at least one arylalkyl benzoate compound, and (ii) at least one oil containing in its structure at least one amide unit.

The invention relates to microcapsules having a particle size distribution that has at least two maxima, wherein the main maximum of the particle size lies in the range of 5 to 100 μm and wherein the volume assumed by the microcapsules that have a particle size less than ¼ of the particle size of the main maximum is greater than approximately 20% of the total volume of the microcapsules.
Composition and association of sunscreens for photostabilizing butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane (BMDBM)
The present invention concerns a composition containing a photostabilized combination of Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (BMDBM), Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine (BEMT), and Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol (MBBT) wherein: (i)—the BEMT/BMDBM mass ratio is greater than or equal to 1 and preferably greater than or equal to 1.5; (ii)—the content of BMDBM is comprised between 1% and 5% by weight with regard to the total weight of the composition; (iii)—the quantity of MBBT is comprised between 3% and 7% by weight with regard to the total weight of the composition, said combination containing no octocrylene, PABA or ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, and a pharmaceutically or cosmetically acceptable excipient.

Disclosed is a cosmetic sunscreen composition comprising a UV filter combination of a) 4-(tert-butyl)-4′-methoxydibenzoylmethane, b) 2,4,6-tris[anilino(p-carbo-2′-ethyl-1′-hexyloxy)]-1,3,5-triazine (INCI: Ethylhexyl Triazone), c) 2,4-bis{[4-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-2-hydroxy]phenyl}-6-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,5-triazine (INCI: Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl Triazine), d) 2-phenylbenzimidazole-5-sulfonic acid and/or one or more salts thereof.
