Active agent-containing fibrous elements and/or articles, and more particularly to water-insoluble fibrous elements and/or water-insoluble articles, for example consumable, single use water-insoluble articles such as shave prep articles including one or more active agents, for example one or more fatty amphiphiles and one or more cationic surfactants, and one or more auxiliary ingredients, for example structurants, fibrous elements containing such active agents and auxiliary ingredients, methods for making such articles and fibrous elements, and methods of using such articles are provided.

A method and a kit-of-parts are provided for dyeing keratinous material. The method includes applying a first agent to the keratinous material and applying an second agent to the keratinous material. The first agent includes at least one organic silicon compound. The second agent comprises at least one colorant compound and at least one film-forming polymer. The colorant compound includes at least one effect pigment including a substrate platelet including synthetic mica. This invention relates to solid oral care compositions, for example a tablet, comprising a comprising a sugar alcohol and a lubricant. In certain aspects the invention is directed to solid oral care compositions that are tablets that comprise a lubricant, wherein the lubricant comprises a poloxamer, as well as methods of use and related kits.

Multi-phase oral care compositions for whitening teeth including hydrophilic bleaching agent particles in a hydrophobic phase with a cone penetration consistency value of from about 25 to about 300. The hydrophilic bleaching agent particles can include peroxide compounds and/or hydrogen peroxide adducts. The hydrophilic bleaching agent particle can have a solubility in water of at least about 20 parts, by weight of the particles, in about 100 parts, by weight, of water.

Oral care compositions comprising: (a) a peroxide complex comprising a peroxide component and an N-vinyl heterocyclic polymer (e.g., poly-N-vinyl polylactam, or poly-N-vinyl-polyimide); (b) a whitening agent (e.g., hydrogen peroxide); and (c) an orally acceptable carrier. Consumable abrasive-containing oral hygiene tablets are described. The tablets include glycine as an abrasive. The glycine average (Mv) particle size may be greater than 45 μm. The tablets may be used with an oral irrigator and, when placed in the irrigator's fluid flow path, may disintegrate, release the abrasive, and improve the cleaning efficacy of the irrigator.

The present disclosure relates to color-altering compositions. The compositions comprise a hair color-altering agent and at least one carboxylic acid. Certain compositions further comprise at least one amino acid or amino sulfonic acid, and/or a salt thereof selected from the group consisting of taurine, aspartic acid, cysteine, lysine, methionine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, carnitine, a salt thereof, and a mixture thereof. Also provided are kits and methods of using said color-altering compositions.
