Oral Care Compositions and Methods for Increasing Stability of the Same
Anhydrous oral care compositions and methods for preventing phase separation in the anhydrous oral care composition are disclosed. The oral care composition may include an orally acceptable vehicle, a thickening system, and a whitening agent. The orally acceptable vehicle may include propylene glycol, and the thickening system may include a polymeric thickener. The polymeric thickener may be or include a copolymer of 2-acrylamidomethylpropanesulphonic acid or a salt thereof.
Process for treating keratin fibres using an aqueous composition comprising a combination of particular alkoxysilanes
The invention relates to a process for treating keratin fibres, which comprises the application of a composition comprising: (a) one or more alkoxysilanes comprising solubilizing function(s) of formula R.sub.1Si(OR.sub.2).sub.z(R.sub.3).sub.x(OH).sub.y, and/or hydrolysis products thereof and/or oligomers thereof, (b) one or more alkylalkoxysilanes of formula (R.sub.4).sub.mSi(OR.sub.5).sub.n and/or hydrolysis products thereof and/or oligomers thereof, and (c) water in an amount of greater than 30% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition. The invention also relates to a composition comprising components (a), (b) and (c), and (d) one or more thickeners.
ADHESIVE PATCH TO ORAL CAVITY HAVING IMPROVED STABILITY AND USABILITY
The present disclosure provides a patch which is attached to a tooth or oral mucous membrane and releases an active ingredient to a portion attached, in which the patch comprises a drug layer having an adhesive surface attached to the tooth or oral mucous membrane and a backing layer laminated on the drug layer, and comprises at least one reticular structure inside the drug layer, and is divided into at least 2 drug layers at the boundary of or by the reticular structure.
USE OF SPECIFIC POLYMERS TO BRING ABOUT AN ANTI-POLLUTION EFFECT
The present invention relates to the use of a polymer or of a cosmetic product comprising said polymer, and additionally other known cosmetic ingredients, to bring about an anti-pollution effect on human skin or on human hair, especially to protect human skin or human hair from dust, wherein the polymer is a cationic, anionic or non-ionic polymer, and wherein the polymer has a solubility in water of at least 0.01 g of polymer in 100 g of water at 20° C. at least at a pH in the range between 4 and 9.
ANHYDROUS COMPOSITION FOR CARING FOR AND/OR MAKING UP KERATIN MATERIALS
It relates to an anhydrous composition for caring for and/or making up keratin materials comprising, a) 10%˜40% by weight of at least one non-volatile non-phenyl silicone oil, relative to the total weight of the composition; b) at least one non-volatile hydrocarbon-based oil and/or phenyl silicone oil; c) at least one high viscosity ester; and d) reaction product of an unsaturated-functional silicone resin, an Si—H functional organopolysiloxane crosslinker bearing pendant hydrido functionality and optionally, an unsaturated hydrocarbon having four or more carbon atoms, in a low viscosity organopolysiloxane. It relates to a process for caring for and/or making up keratin materials such as the skin and the lips, preferably the lips, by applying the anhydrous composition according to the present invention to the keratin materials.

Described herein are personal care compositions comprising a stability control system comprising a non-ionic opacifier, and a cationic polymer. Methods of making and using the compositions are also described.
Robust sunscreen compositions
A robust sunscreen composition is disclosed herein comprising a water soluble polymer and a water insoluble film former providing a synergistic effect in SPF retention and critical wavelength after immersion in water, salt water, and chlorinated water. The water soluble polymer comprises poloxamer 338 (and) PPG-12/SMDI copolymer, poloxamer 407 (and) PPG-12/SMDI copolymer, or a combination thereof.
ADDITIVE FOR MEDICINAL AGENTS
Provided is an additive for a chemical agent, which is capable of improving the functions of various chemical agents. The additive for a chemical agent according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a polymer (I) containing 50 mol % to 100 mol % of a structural unit derived from an N-vinyl lactam-based monomer with respect to 100 mol % of structural units derived from all monomers, the additive for a chemical agent having an average particle diameter of 100 μm or less in a state of having been dried under a reduced pressure of 0.02 MPa or less at 100° C. for 1 hour.
Therapeutic oral composition
Disclosed are therapeutic oral compositions useful in the treatment of a variety of oral disorders, in which the composition can provide blockage of dentinal tubes, while at the same time provide antibacterial and anti-caries efficacy. The compositions include arginine in free or salt form, a mucoadhesive polymer, and at least one component selected from pyrophosphates, zinc salts, potassium salts, strontium salts, and mixtures thereof.
Acid perfluoro-free self-foaming facial cleanser composition
A self-foaming cleansing composition are provided. The self-foaming composition includes a) from about 0.5% to about 10% wt. % of one or more volatile silicone oils; b) from about 0.5% to about 25% wt. % of one or more surfactants stable at low pH; c) from about at least 1.2% of one or more polymers with suspending properties; d) from about 0.5% to about 5% wt % of one or more thickeners; e) from about 0.5% to about 15% wt. % of one organic acid as cosmetic active ingredient; the self-foaming cleansing composition having a pH in between about 3.4 and 5; the self-foaming cleansing composition starting to foam immediately after application of the compositions onto the skin; wherein the foaming cleansing composition is free of perfluoro compound; and wherein the weight percentages are based on the total weight of the self-foaming cleansing composition.
