METHOD FOR PRODUCING HYDROLYSED KERATINACEOUS MATERIAL
20190075817 · 2019-03-14 · ·

The invention relates to a method for producing digestible keratinaceous material comprising the steps of hydrolysing keratinaceous material in the presence of water in a hydrolyser at elevated temperature and at a pressure between about 2 bar and about 15 bar, and drying the resultant hydrolysed keratinaceous material comprising at least partly insoluble material in a dryer at a temperature/time/pressure combination which limits the drop in pepsin and/or ileal digestibility by less than 10%, and/or such that the pepsin and/or ileal digestibility remains higher than 85%, or such that the pepsin and ileal digestibility remains higher than respectively 75% and 85%. Preferably, the drying of the resultant hydrolysed partly soluble keratinaceous material is performed in a dryer at a temperature such that the keratinaceous material remains at a temperature below 90? C., preferably below 80? C.

Method for regenerating hair follicles using CD36-expressing dermal sheath cells

Provided is a method for regenerating hair follicles by transplanting a composition containing CD36-expressing dermal sheath cells (DSc) to a human. The composition may be prepared by sorting CD36-expressing dermal sheath cells from a hair follicle tissue by use of a cell-sorting technique along with an antibody to CD36. The composition may also contain dermal papilla cells (DPc).

A PRODUCT PREVENTING HAIR LOSS

The present invention relates to a product which prevents hair loss and enables growth of healthy new hair by stem cell application. With the present invention, the newly growing hair is ensured to have the same color with the person's own hair color and thus prevents increase of grey hair. The product of the present invention is comprised of a carrier and active ingredient.

Cosmetic Compositions and Method of Making the Same
20180193252 · 2018-07-12 ·

The present invention generally relates to cosmetic compositions comprising serum derived from cultured keratinocyte and fibroblast cells. The invention also relates to methods of producing serum for use in the cosmetic compositions through novel cell culture techniques.

THERAPEUTIC SERUM OBTAINED FROM CO-CULTURED CELLS
20180140639 · 2018-05-24 ·

A therapeutic serum suitable for inclusion in a cosmetic preparation may be produced by stressing a co-culture including proliferative cells. The co-culture of cells may be obtained by first establishing a monolayer of cells on a surface. After a monolayer of first culture is established, a second culture comprising more resilient and/or aggressive cells may be over-seeded on the monolayer and established. Additional cultures comprising increasingly dominant cells may then be over-seeded and established until a monolayer having the desired population of cells is obtained. The monolayer is then stressed to obtain a serum by conditioning a collection medium. The obtained serum may be combined with a suitable cosmetic base to provide a cosmetic preparation.
