METHOD OF PROVIDING DISEASE-SPECIFIC BINDING MOLECULES AND TARGETS
Provided are novel specific binding molecules, particularly human antibodies as well as fragments, derivatives and variants thereof that recognize neoepitopes of disease-associated proteins which derive from native endogenous proteins but are prevalent in the body of a patient in a variant form and/or out of their normal physiological context. In addition, pharmaceutical compositions comprising such binding molecules, antibodies and mimics thereof and methods of screening for novel binding molecules, which may or may not be antibodies as well as targets in the treatment of neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease are described.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR THE DETECTION DIAGNOSIS AND THERAPY OF HEMATOLOGICAL MALIGNANCIES
Disclosed are methods and compositions for the detection, diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy of hematological malignancies, and in particular, B cell leukemias, lymphomas and multiple myelomas. Disclosed are compositions, methods and kits for eliciting immune and T cell responses to specific malignancy-related antigenic polypeptides and antigenic polypeptide fragments thereof in an animal. Also disclosed are compositions and methods for use in the identification of cells and biological samples containing one or more hematological malignancy-related compositions, and methods for the detection and diagnosis of such diseases and affected cell types. Also disclosed are diagnostic and therapeutic kits, as well as methods for the diagnosis, therapy and/or prevention of a variety of leukemias and lymphomas.
TDP-43 specific binding molecules
Provided are TAR DNA-binding protein of 43 kDa (TDP-43)-specific binding molecules including polypeptides such as human antibodies, as well as fragments, derivatives and variants thereof. Also provided are methods related to these TDP-43 specific binding molecules. Assays, kits, and solid supports related to TDP-43-specific binding molecules, including polypeptides such as, human antibodies are also disclosed. The TDP-43-specific binding molecule, antibody, immunoglobulin chain(s), as well as binding fragments, derivatives and variants thereof can be used in pharmaceutical and diagnostic compositions for TDP-43 targeted immunotherapy and diagnosis, respectively.
Improved immunoglobulin I
The present disclosure relates to cell penetrating anti-DNA antibodies conjugated to a payload and methods of delivering these antibody conjugates to the brain. Compositions comprising these antibody conjugates may be useful for detecting and treating disease.
ANTI-TRANSTHYRETIN ANTIBODIES
The invention provides antibodies that specifically bind transthyretin (TTR). The antibodies can be used for treating or effecting prophylaxis of diseases or disorders associated with TTR accumulation or accumulation of TTR deposits (e.g., TTR amyloidosis). The antibodies can also be used for diagnosing TTR amyloidosis and inhibiting or reducing aggregation of TTR, among other applications.
Antigen associated with lung cancers and lymphomas
The invention relates to a binding member that binds the Extra Domain-A (ED-A) isoform of fibronectin for the treatment of lung cancer and lymphoma.
Use of VHH antibodies for the preparation of peptide vectors for delivering a substance of interest and their applications
Use of a variable fragment (VHH antibody) of a camelid single-chain antibody for the preparation of a peptide vector for delivering a substance of interest across the blood-brain barrier or into a cell.
TREATMENT AND PROPHYLAXIS OF AMYLOIDOSIS
Methods useful for effecting prophylaxis or treatment of amyloidosis, including AA Amyloidosis and AL amyloidosis, by administering peptides comprising neoepitopes, such as AA fragments from a C-terminal region of AA, and antibodies specific for neoepitopes of aggregated amyloid proteins, for example, antibodies specific for the C-terminal region of AA fibrils. Antibodies for inhibition of formation and/or increasing clearance of amyloid deposits in a patient thus effecting prophylaxis or treating amyloid disease.
Variable domains of camelid heavy-chain antibodies directed against glial fibrillary acidic proteins
The present invention relates to the use of variable domains of camelid heavy-chain antibodies (VHH domains) directed against an intracellular target and having an isoelectric point of at least 8.5, for targeting said intracellular target or for the preparation of a peptide vector. Particularly, it concerns VHH domains directed against a glial fibrillary acidic protein and uses thereof for preparing therapeutic or diagnostic agents.
