Syringe actuating device
A syringe actuating device has a first supporting plate in which an axial guide for a primary rod is defined and a second supporting plate defining at least two engagement seats for bases of corresponding syringes having a barrel and a sliding plunger. A guide for axial sliding of a corresponding secondary rod with a head is associated with each of the engagement seats. The device also includes an electric motor having a driving shaft, an assembly for converting rotary motion of the shaft into translational motion of the primary rod and a pair of connecting arms adapted to transmit sliding motion of the primary rod to a corresponding one of the secondary rods. Rotary movement of the driving shaft causes sliding of the secondary rods and, consequently, sliding of the plungers when the syringes are engaged in corresponding engagement seats and the plungers are in abutment against the heads.
System and method for fluid engagement with a pressure jacket and syringe cap
A pressure jacket for use with a fluid injector may have a pressure jacket body having a proximal end, a distal end, and a circumferential sidewall extending between the proximal end and the distal end along a pressure jacket longitudinal axis. The pressure jacket may further have at least one resiliently deflectable retaining member having a first segment attached to the pressure jacket body and a second segment protruding from the first segment toward the distal end of the pressure jacket body and deflectable relative to the first segment. The pressure jacket may further have at least one actuation member associated with the at least one resiliently deflectable retaining member. The at least one actuation member may interact with a housing of the fluid injector when the pressure jacket is connected to the housing to deflect the at least one resiliently deflectable retaining member upon rotation of the pressure jacket.
Medical pump
A medical pump, comprising: a fluid housing having a plurality of intake openings, sealed by at least one intake valve, and an outlet opening sealed by an outlet valve; a piston which is sealing the fluid housing and connected to a drive mechanism, the drive mechanism pulls the piston to draw fluid from one of the plurality of intake openings and pushes the piston to discharge the fluid into the outlet opening; and a selecting valve enclosing at least two tubes, each providing fluid to one of the plurality of intake openings, wherein the selecting valve closes one of the at least two tubes while opening another of the at least two tubes.
Infusion Pump Assembly
A removable power supply cover assembly for an infusion pump is disclosed. The assembly includes a housing body configured to removably attach to an infusion pump, a conductor assembly attached to the housing body, a power supply contact assembly, and a spring attached to the power supply contact assembly and the conductor assembly. An electrical coupling between a power supply to the conductor assembly is formed through the spring.
SHELL FOR A PORTABLE ELECTROMECHANICAL APPARATUS FOR DRUG INFUSION
Shell (11) for a portable electromechanical apparatus for drug infusion, comprising an outer casing (13) and a support structure (15) housed within the casing (13), wherein said casing (13) has a monolithic ring shape and is entirely made of plastics, and wherein said support structure (15) is at least partially made of metal.
STERILIZATION FLUID PATH WITH BARRIER REMOVAL
A device and method is disclosed for assembling a container holder in a clean environment, aseptically adding a solution to a primary container, inserting the primary container into the container holder, applying a first barrier to the container holder, sterilizing the container holder comprising the primary container and the applied first barrier to provide a sterilized container holder, assembling a fluid path module in a clean environment, the assembling comprising applying a second barrier to a first end of the sterilized fluid path module, sterilizing the fluid path module to provide a sterilized fluid path module and assembling a delivery device comprising the sterilized container holder and the sterilized fluid path module.
SYRINGE COLLAR AND FRAME
A frame for engaging at least two fluid containers includes: a first engagement member configured to secure at least a portion of one of the at least two fluid containers; a second engagement member configured to secure at least a portion of another one of the at least two fluid containers; and a body structure connected to the first engagement member and the second engagement member. The body structure is sized and shaped to index the at least two fluid containers with a powered injector system such that the at least two fluid injectors are held in an orientation and distance relative to each other for insertion into at least two pressure jackets associated with the powered injector system.
Infusion device with base portion and durable portion
A delivery device includes a durable housing portion and a separable disposable portion that selectively engage and disengage from each other. The disposable housing portion secures to the patient and may be disposed of after it has been in use for a prescribed period. Components that normally come into contact with a patient or with infusion media are supported by the disposable housing portion for disposal after the prescribed use, while the durable housing portion supports other components such as electronics for controlling delivery of infusion media from the reservoir and a drive device and drive linkage.
INFUSION PUMP ASSEMBLY
An infusion pump assembly includes a locking tab and a pump barrel inside a pump barrel housing, where the pump barrel accommodates a reservoir assembly. The reservoir assembly includes a reservoir and a plunger rod. The infusion pump assembly also includes a locking disc at a terminus of the pump barrel. The locking disc includes a clearance hole for the plunger rod. The locking disc also includes at least one locking tab notch in close proximity with the locking tab. The locking tab is in moveable engagement with the locking tab notch, and the reservoir moves the locking tab from a locked position to an unlocked position when the plunger rod is inserted through clearance hole. The locking disc rotates upon torque being applied to the reservoir assembly, the locking disc rotating from a non-loaded position to a loaded position with respect to the plunger rod and a drive screw.
