Syringe Devices and Methods
A syringe of the present disclosure has a hollow barrel fixedly and removeably coupled at one end to a needle and having an orifice at a second end. The hollow barrel also has a calibration inscription inscribed on an outer surface for identifying volumetric quantities of fluid being delivered within the hollow barrel, and the calibration inscription is a first color. The syringe of the present disclosure further has a plunger that has a compressible bulb coupled to an end of the plunger, and the compressible plunger has a second color that is different than the first color of the calibration inscription.
LUER-LOCK FASTENING NEEDLE HUB
A Luer-lock fastening needle hub is proposed. The Luer-lock fastening needle hub has an insertion groove for a front end of a tapered tube of a barrel to receive the tapered tube into which a plunger is inserted, so that a plunger contact surface is inserted into the tapered tube of a front discharge end of the barrel. The Luer-lock fastening needle hub has a needle cap fastening grooves formed along an outer circumference thereof and “V”-shaped insertion guides are formed in four direction at front portions of openings of the needle cap fastening grooves, so that fastening protrusions formed on an inner surface of a needle cap are unaffectedly guided by the “V”-shaped insertion guides and are easily aligned and fastened to the needle cap fastening grooves.
INJECTION DEVICE WITH DOSE SIZE ADJUSTER
The present disclosure relates to an injection device configured to expel a dose of a medicament, the injection device comprising: an elongated housing extending in a longitudinal direction, a piston rod movable relative to the housing in a longitudinal distal direction to exert a dispensing pressure onto a bung of a cartridge at least partially filled with an injectable medicament, a rod extension movably arranged on or in a distal end of the piston rod, a driver operably engaged with the piston rod and movable relative to the housing in a longitudinal proximal direction for setting of the dose and movable relative to the housing in the longitudinal distal direction for dispensing of the dose, and an adjuster arranged on or in the driver and operably engaged with the rod extension to move the rod extension in longitudinal direction relative to the piston rod.
SYRINGE WITH PLUNGER REACTION PRESSURE REDUCTION STRUCTURE
A syringe with plunger reaction pressure reduction structure is proposed. The syringe includes: a barrel including a finger grip at a rear end thereof and a Luer-lock connector in which a thread portion is formed on an inner surface outside a tapered tube of a front discharge end thereof; a plunger rod configured to be inserted in an inside of the barrel and including a push end at a rear end thereof; a plunger coupled to a front end of the plunger rod; and a needle hub configured to be screwed with the Luer-lock connector and including an injection needle mounted to a front end thereof. The syringe is configured to have a three-step structure at the plunger in which intervals between steps are gradually shortened, so that the reaction pressure applied to the plunger is distributed and the injection is easily performed.
Spacer assembly for drug delivery device
A drive assembly for a drug delivery system including a plunger member configured to engage and move a stopper within a container, a biasing member configured to move the plunger member, and an adjustable spacer assembly positioned between the plunger member and the stopper. The spacer assembly includes a spacer element attached to the stopper and at least one shim or includes a spacer element and a holder to which the spacer element is attached. The holder may be attached to the stopper and the spacer element may be attached to the holder by a threaded engagement. Also, a drug delivery system for injecting a medicament, the system including a container configured to receive a medicament, the container comprising a stopper configured to move within the container and a closure, a drive assembly as described above, and a needle actuator assembly.
Detachable Needle Syringe Having Reduced Dead Space
A syringe and detachable needle assembly having reduced dead space features includes an elongate syringe barrel having open distal end including a collar and a distally facing annular surface projecting inwardly from the collar. A needle assembly includes a hub having a proximally facing annular surface and an outwardly projecting annular sealing ring positioned distally from the surface. The needle assembly also includes a cannula having a lumen therethrough connected to the distal end of the hub. Structure is provided for engaging the hub to the barrel resulting in the annular surface of the barrel contacting the annular surface of the hub to form a primary seal between said barrel and said hub and the annular sealing ring contacting the collar to form a secondary seal between the barrel and the hub.
Syringe assembly with inverse delivery
A reduced profile syringe assembly is provided that includes an overall profile that is substantially similar to a profile of a syringe barrel. The syringe assembly includes a plunger rod that is significantly disposed within the syringe barrel when filled for use, with the plunger rod adapted to be retracted from the syringe barrel during dispensing of contents of the syringe barrel.
Injector system
An injector including at least one fluid reservoir having a needle, a surface attached to skin and coupled to the fluid reservoir by at least a first joint and a second joint at least a portion of one of the joints being slidable or having interlocking arms. At least a portion of a path of translation of a slidable portion of the first joint and a portion of a path of translation of the second joint are angled in respect to each another.
DRUG SOLUTION INJECTION DEVICE
A drug solution injection device includes: a catheter that has a hollow shaft, a hollow needle portion disposed on a distal end of the hollow shaft, and a lumen formed inside each of the hollow shaft and the needle portion and containing a drug solution; and a wire that is inserted into the lumen and is advanced from a proximal end of the lumen toward a distal end side so as to discharge the drug solution in the lumen from a distal end of the needle portion.
Devices and Methods for Syringes Configured to Reduce or Eliminate Residual Volume
The present disclosure relates to a syringe including a container, for containing a primary fluid, and at least one secondary fluid chamber configured to contain a secondary fluid. The container comprises a proximal end and a distal end and having a distal end opening at the distal end. The syringe further comprises a stopper, movably arranged within the container; and a plunger engageable with the stopper and configured to apply a force to the stopper to move the stopper within the container towards the distal end of the container, to expel primary fluid from the container through the distal end opening. The plunger is further configured to expel secondary fluid from the at least one secondary fluid chamber towards the distal end opening, to expel at least a portion of a residual volume of primary fluid through the distal end opening. A plunger system and assembly for a syringe and methods of expelling fluid from a syringe are also disclosed.
