DEVICE FOR DEPOSITING AN ELEMENT BY MEANS OF A CANNULA
A device for depositing a solid medicament, having: a cannula (12) having a tip (18) provided at the distal end; and an attachment (20) which receives a proximal region of the cannula and has ridges (24, 26, 28) extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the cannula; and a plunger (16) which is movable progressively inside the cannula and has a handle (38). The handle (38) has rib-like retaining elements which extend in the longitudinal direction of the plunger (16), are spaced apart therefrom and are connected to the plunger in each case using a connecting element which can be severed at least in one of its end regions by interacting with the attachment (20).
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE WITH NEEDLE ACTUATION MECHANISM
A drug delivery device (1) comprising a delivery unit (2) receiving a drug cartridge (3) containing a drug to be administered to a patient in need thereof, the delivery unit comprising a subcutaneous delivery mechanism (7) including a needle (24), a needle support (8) to which the needle is mounted, and a needle actuation mechanism (9) configured to move the needle from a retracted position within a housing (5) of the delivery unit (2), to an extended delivery position where the needle projects through a base wall (14) of the housing. The needle actuation mechanism comprises a rotary actuator (10) configured to engage an engagement lever (11) coupled to the needle support (8) for translating the needle support between retracted and extended delivery positions.
Tip protector for a safety catheter
A safety catheter includes a catheter hub, a needle cannula having a tip, and a tip protector. The tip protector includes an outer member and an inner member therein. The outer member has a projection releasably engaging the catheter hub. The inner member has a pair of arms extending to free ends from a base. The inner member is axially shiftable relative to the outer member between a first position wherein the needle tip is distal of the tip protector and the free ends of the arms are spread apart such that the distal tip is not shielded, and a second position wherein the tip is within the inner and outer members and the free ends of the arms are brought into close proximity such that the distal tip is shielded. The inner member is entirely received within the outer member in both the fort and the second positions thereof.
PUSH-TYPE SAFETY PROTECTION MECHANISM OF BLOOD COLLECTION NEEDLE
The present invention discloses a push-type safety protection mechanism of a blood collection needle. The push-type safety protection mechanism comprises a sleeve member and a valve core member, wherein the valve core member is provided with three parts, namely a needle seat part, a sleeving part and a stopping part; a plurality of limiting grooves is formed in the stopping part; the sleeve member is provided with two parts, namely a first sleeve part positioned at a front section and a second sleeve part positioned at a rear section; an elastic button higher than the side wall of the first sleeve part is arranged on the side wall of the valve core member; a limiting opening matched with the elastic button is formed in the side wall of the first sleeve part; a limiting sliding cavity for accommodating the elastic button and the valve core member is formed from a position of the first sleeve part from the limiting opening to the inner side of the second sleeve part, and the limiting sliding cavity guides and limits front-back movements of the elastic button and the valve core member; and a plurality of elastic limiting protrusions matched with the limiting grooves is arranged on the inner wall of the tail sliding cavity of the second sleeve part. Through the design of the elastic button, medical staff can operate the blood collection needle with the left hand or the right hand alone during use.
Needle storage magazine assembly
A magazine assembly (1) that stores a plurality of needles (56) configured to engage a medication pen (2) via an adapter (4) for medication delivery, the magazine assembly (1) comprising a magazine housing (20) enclosing a plurality of hub chambers (22) each enclosing one of a plurality of needle hubs (50), a connector (28) in each of the plurality of hub chambers (22), each connector (28) engages one of the plurality of needle hubs (50), and a plurality of enclosures (30) each sealing the plurality of hub chambers (22), wherein a selected enclosure of the plurality of enclosures (30) is removed to expose a selected needle hub (52) of the plurality of needle hubs (50), the adapter (4) attaches to the medication pen (2) to engage the selected needle hub (52) while disengaging the selected needle hub (52) from the hub chamber (22), and the selected needle hub (52) is removed from the magazine housing (20) to prepare the medication pen (2) for medication delivery.
AUTO INJECTOR WITH BI-STABLE CLUTCH PLATE
Disclosed herein is an auto injector with a bi-stable clutch plate.
Sheath remover and methods for assembly thereof
The present disclosure relates to a sheath remover for removing a protective needle sheath from a drug cartridge. The sheath remover includes a resilient ring and one or more resilient legs attached to the ring and extending in a proximal direction. Each leg includes an inwardly directed ledge arranged at a proximal end of the leg. The ring consists of a resilient material allowing inward deflection of a proximal end of the ring. The present disclosure further relates to a method for assembling and a method for using the sheath remover.
Drug delivery device
The disclosure relates to a drug delivery device, comprising: a housing to receive a cartridge with a needle and a stopper, wherein the cartridge is movable within the housing so as to cover the needle within the housing or advance the needle beyond the housing, a gas tank containing a pressurized gas within the housing, the gas tank connectable with a cavity for moving the cartridge, a cavity for moving the stopper and a cavity for moving the cartridge, a release member fixed to the housing and adapted to restrict movement of the cartridge relative to the housing in a proximal direction, a membrane between the cavity and the retraction release member adapted to operate the release member if the membrane is deformed by a pressure within the cavity exceeding a predetermined value allowing movement of the cartridge relative to the housing in the proximal direction.
DEVICES FOR INJECTION AND DOSING
Skin can be treated by piercing skin with a plurality of needles of an injection device and ejecting a dose of fluid therethrough. The device can include a housing, a plunger disposed in the housing, a cartridge disposed in the housing, and one or more dosing chambers. The plurality of needles can be coupled to the housing and be in fluid communication with the cartridge. Advancement of the plunger can cause a dose of fluid to be ejected from the plurality of needles.
