NEEDLE ATTACHMENT AND DETACHMENT ASSIST DEVICE
20170266393 · 2017-09-21 · ·

A needle attachment and detachment assist device includes a frame body, a syringe guide jig, and a needle guide jig. A guide hole is formed in the syringe guide jig. In the needle guide jig, a needle insertion hole is formed on a central axis of the guide hole. The needle insertion hole includes a center hole portion and a rib guide groove. When a syringe is inserted into the guide hole, and a needle member is further inserted into the needle insertion hole, rotation prevention of the needle member is achieved. In this state, when the syringe is rotated in a first direction, the needle member can be clamped to a thread portion of the syringe. When the syringe is rotated in a second direction, the needle member can be loosened.

Percutaneous medication device and needle formation used for the device

A percutaneous medication device, comprising a syringe to be filled with medical liquid and a needle formation attached to a leading-end of the syringe is provided. The needle formation comprises a needle formation body, from the surface of which a needle projects and a cover portion covers a leading-end of the needle formation body. The needle is inserted into a through-hole formed at the leading-end of the needle formation body and fixed by a fixation member. The needle formation body is mated to the cover portion, a space is formed between an inner surface of the cover portion and the leading-end of the needle formation body, and the needle projects from the leading-end surface of the cover portion through a needle insertion hole formed at the leading-end of the cover portion.

Hollow needle and pivotable hub system

A needling system, for use in areas where thin hollow needles are used to inject or aspirate fluids and gases, is provided and comprises a thin, rigid tube body needle that is open on both ends and throughout the length with one sharp end. The needle body and hub are designed such that the needle has a ball end that fits within a socket of the hub, forming a seal and allowing the needle to be oriented non-colinearly and non-parallel to the central axis of the hub. Needle orientation, relative to the hub, can be limited from a conical volume to a planar or multi planar angular orientations. The needle so configured allows the user to circumvent an obstacle that otherwise inhibits direct linear access to a point-of-interest by providing a device that can fit around or between obstructions providing optimal direct path towards the desired therapy delivery point.

Attachment for a syringe or carpule

An attachment for a syringe, carpule, or the like, includes a distal end and a terminal extension with an outer surface, a free end, and a depression introduced at a spacing into the outer surface. The attachment includes an annular base body and is placeable onto the extension. The base body encloses a free space into which the extension is introducible. The base body contains two materials a first material which is dimensionally stable and a second material which is softer than the first material and deformable. The base body has an engagement region, which engages into the depression. The extension is thus characterized in that the base body has, along an imaginary circumferential line, a first region with the first material and a second region containing the second material. The second material deforms into the depression in a placed-onto-the-extension state. The second material is embedded into the first material.

Pen needle assembly

A needle hub assembly for a pen needle includes a needle hub, an inner shield and an outer cover. The open end of the outer cover is closed by a removable seal to access the needle hub. The needle hub has a body with a shoulder and a tower extending from the body for supporting a cannula. The inner shield fits over the tower and the cannula and includes a flange that has an outer dimension complementing the outer dimension of the needle hub and contacts the shoulder of the needle hub in the assembled condition. The outer cover encloses the needle hub and the inner shield and includes a stop member on an inner surface that contacts the flange of the inner shield to capture the inner shield between the shoulder of the needle hub and the outer cover.
