Syringe
A syringe includes a syringe cylinder and a distal end designed as a syringe cone. The distal end comprises a region set back in a radial direction such that an edge extending in the circumferential direction is formed. The edge has a first chamfer, and comprises an attachment piece having a clamping region. Holding forces are introduced from the attachment piece via the clamping region in the region of the syringe set back in a radial direction. The clamping region comprises a distal edge. The the distal edge of the clamping region has a second chamfer.
Fastening element and syringe
A fastening element is proposed for fixing an attachment element on an extension piece of a syringe or a carpule, said extension piece having, on an outer face, at least one projection, wherein the fastening element (1) has an annular main body (3) on which a ring element (13) is articulated such that the ring element engages around the extension piece in a mounted state. The ring element has an annular first wall portion (15), which is articulated on the main body (3) via a first bearing area (19), and has an annular second wall portion (17), which is articulated on the first wall portion (15) via a second bearing area (21), wherein the first and second wall portions (15) and (17) are preferably connected to each other resiliently and enclose between them a free space (23), and wherein the first wall portion (15) is connected resiliently to the main body (3).
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR OCULAR INJECTION
An apparatus includes a housing coupled to a medicament container, which is coupled to a needle. An injection assembly is disposed within the housing and includes an energy storage member and an actuation rod. A distal end portion of the actuation rod is disposed within the medicament container. The energy storage member can produce a force on a proximal end portion of the actuation rod sufficient to move the distal end portion of the actuation rod within the medicament container. This can convey at least a portion of a substance from the medicament container via the needle when a distal tip of the needle is disposed within a first region of a target location. The force is insufficient to move the distal end portion of the actuation rod within the medicament container when the distal tip of the needle is disposed within a second region of the target location.
Needle assembly and drug injection device
A needle assembly includes: a retaining portion; and an elastic member that includes a close contact portion that closely contacts and retains the needle tube such that the needle tube protrudes toward a fitting opening, and a deformation portion that extends from the close contact portion toward the fitting opening and is configured to deform when the drug ejection portion comes into contact with the elastic member, and which is provided in a fitting portion. Further, the length of the deformation portion is in a range of 35% or more and 50% or less with respect to the length of the elastic member, and the length of a portion of the needle tube which protrudes from the close contact portion toward the fitting portion is in a range of 45% or more and 245% or less with respect to the deformation portion.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING NEEDLE-EQUIPPED OUTER TUBE, AND NEEDLE-EQUIPPED OUTER TUBE
A needle-equipped outer tube includes a needle; a joint member that supports the needle, the needle being insert molded or thermally welded to the joint member; and an outer tube including a connection section, wherein the joint member is thermally welded to the connection section of the outer tube.
JOINING TECHNOLOGY OF A DISPENSE INTERFACE
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and a method. The apparatus comprises a body part and a cover part, wherein the body part and the cover part are configured to at least partially form a fluid channel between a surface of the body part and a surface of the cover part. The surfaces of the body part and the cover part may be facing surfaces. The method comprises manufacturing the apparatus according to the present disclosure.
Needle mounting feature for ensuring proper reconstitution sequence
In one aspect, a medical injector is provided herein having a body and an overcap releasably attached to the body configured to prevent mounting of a needle prior to mixing of components within the body. In a further aspect, a slidable collet may be provided useable to urge resilient members from an outward disrupted state inwardly to collectively define a needle mount. Advantageously, a medical injector is provided which ensures proper sequence in preparation of the device, particularly with respect to the step of allowing mounting of a medical needle to the device subsequent to preparation of the medicament to be administered.
Outer cylinder for prefilled syringe and outer cylinder packaging for prefilled syringes
A outer cylinder packaging for prefilled syringes includes a container having an upper face that has an upper face opening; an outer cylinder holding member that is located in the container and includes at least one outer cylinder holding opening part; at least one outer cylinder for prefilled syringe that is held by the outer cylinder holding member; and a removable sheet-shaped lid member that seals the upper face opening of the container. The outer cylinder for prefilled syringe includes: an outer cylinder main body part; a flange part; a nozzle part that is provided at a tip part of the outer cylinder main body part and has a tip opening part at its tip; and a distal cylindrical part that covers the nozzle part, has a diameter that is larger than an outer diameter of the outer cylinder main body part, and passes through the outer cylinder holding opening part.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SAFETY SYRINGE
One embodiment is directed to a system for injecting, comprising a syringe body defining an interior medicine chamber; a stopper member configured to be inserted into the interior medicine chamber to contain medicine within the medicine chamber; a plunger member configured to be manually manipulated to insert the stopper member relative to the syringe body; and a needle having proximal and distal ends, the proximal end comprising an anchoring geometry configured to be at least partially inserted into the stopper member such that upon retraction of the stopper member, the needle is pulled proximally along with the stopper to be at least partially contained within the interior medicine chamber.
