Syringe for and method of delivering a volume of solution with guidance bearing in view of standard and non-standard carpules
Methods and apparatuses are disclosed with regard to syringe-transfer of a solution or other fluid, optionally with a guidance bearing, within a standard or non-standard carpule, optionally having sealed top ends and measurement gradations, i.e., indicia. One embodiment is a non-standard carpule barrel having a top portion, a bottom portion, and a barrel portion therebetween. The top portion includes an opening for receiving a syringe plunger and at least a first portion for connecting to an upper portion of the syringe. The bottom portion includes another opening capable of holding a bottom end of the carpule, wherein the carpule may be a standard carpule or a non-standard carpule. The barrel portion is located between the top portion and bottom portion, and includes a cradle, which has a length capable of holding a standard or a non-standard carpule, which has a greater width than a standard carpule.
PEN NEEDLE HUB HAVING INCREASED CONTACT AREA
A pen needle assembly having a hub with an increased surface area that contacts a patient's skin is provided. The increased contact area of the hub with the patient's skin during injection of a cannula decreases the pressure exerted against the patient's skin, thereby increasing the comfort of the patient. A bonding adhesive is disposed on an outer surface of the hub, thereby decreasing the required curing time of the adhesive. Additionally, the increased contact area, between the cannula adhesive and hub increases the strength of the bond therebetween.

COATING METHOD AND WORKPIECE
A coating method is provided, in which at least one emulsion and/or one solution is applied at least to a first partial area of a surface of a component, said emulsion and/or solution containing at least one layer-forming substance, and then the component is heat-treated, wherein at least one second partial area of the first partial area is subsequently exposed to a plasma, wherein the carbon content of the coating decreases to less than about 80% or less than about 75% or less than about 70% or less than about 60% of the initial value prior to the plasma treatment. A workpiece and a method for the production thereof is provided.
Method for Producing a Syringe Having a Piercing Means
The invention relates to a method for producing a syringe having a piercing means, comprising the following steps: a) providing a syringe body having a distal end section, which comprises an inner channel that discharges at a distal opening, wherein the distal end section is in a formable state; b) providing a piercing means; c) inserting a proximal section of the piercing means through the distal opening into the inner channel of the distal end section; and d) shaping the distal end section by means of a first shaping tool in such a way that an inner surface of the distal end section contacts at least portions of the piercing means, as a result of which at least portions of the piercing means are secured.
MULTI-NEEDLE MODULE FOR SKIN TREATMENT
The present invention relates to a multi-needle module for skin treatment, including a needle; a cap part including a front plate including, formed therein, a needle hole through which the needle is passed and an injection hole through which adhesive is injected, and a receiving portion including an opening portion formed at a rear side and an empty space formed therein; a housing including an opening portion coupled to the rear opening portion of the cap part, a space formed therein, and a syringe coupling part connected to a syringe; and a connector inserted into the housing, and includes a concave adhesive injection part formed on a side to be filled with adhesive, and mounted with a plurality of needles on an upper portion thereof, in which the connector is spaced apart from the front plate of the cap part so as to form the adhesive injection part.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR OCULAR INJECTION
An apparatus includes a housing coupled to a medicament container, which is coupled to a needle. An injection assembly is disposed within the housing and includes an energy storage member and an actuation rod. A distal end portion of the actuation rod is disposed within the medicament container. The energy storage member can produce a force on a proximal end portion of the actuation rod sufficient to move the distal end portion of the actuation rod within the medicament container. This can convey at least a portion of a substance from the medicament container via the needle when a distal tip of the needle is disposed within a first region of a target location. The force is insufficient to move the distal end portion of the actuation rod within the medicament container when the distal tip of the needle is disposed within a second region of the target location.
Attachment for a syringe, carpule or the like
An attachment for a syringe or carpule includes a main body that encloses an interior space, into which a protrusion of the syringe or carpule can be inserted. The main body has a jacket surrounding the interior space, and includes an inner body connected to the jacket and arranged coaxially thereto. The inner body has an inner wall that, in the attached state of the attachment, contacts an outer surface of the protrusion or of the syringe or carpule by means of an interior surface facing the interior space. The inner wall of the inner body is connected to the jacket of the attachment by a number of webs. At least one web encloses an angle together with an imaginary radially extending line, the angle being greater than 0? and acute.
METHOD FOR CONNECTING TWO OBJECTS USING A POLYMER COMPOSITION AND A SYSTEM, FOR USE IN A COSMETIC PROCEDURE
The invention is directed to a method for using a polymer composition for connecting a first object to a second object, wherein the method comprises, the step of applying a polymer composition to at least part of the surface of at least one of the first object or second object; connecting the first object and the second object at the surface where the polymer composition is applied and irradiating the polymer composition using UV-radiation over a first time period, obtaining a UV radiated polymer composition; irradiating the UV radiated polymer composition with gamma-radiation over a second time period obtaining a gamma radiated polymer. The invention also relates to a system of a plastic object and a metal object connected by the method of the invention. In addition, the invention relates to a cosmetic method for anti-aging skin treatment wherein the method comprises the steps of: subcutaneously administering of an effective amount a of a dermal filler or Botulinum toxin to an area of skin, preferably the face and/or neck area, wherein the administering is performed by a syringe and a hypodermic needle or cannula of the invention.
SYRINGE
The present invention relates to a syringe, and more particularly, to an apparatus obtained by improving an conventional syringe formed with an injection flow passage including an injection needle, so as to share a portion of the injection flow passage except the injection needle or to form a suction flow passage completely independent of the injection flow passage, thereby further smoothing suction of a liquid medicine. The syringe is configured such that the separate suction flow passage bypassing the injection needle is formed in an conventional syringe to more smoothly perform the suction of the liquid medicine, thereby maximizing user's convenience and marketability of the product.
