LATERAL TRANSPORT SYSTEM FOR HARVESTER AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
20190200511 · 2019-07-04 · ·

The disclosure relates to a lateral transport system for a harvester comprising a chassis, first and second ground wheels coupled to the chassis, and a lateral transport assembly operably coupled to the chassis and operable between a transport operation mode and a stowed operation mode. The lateral transport assembly comprises a tongue pivotally coupled to the chassis, a first suspension element rotatable about a first axis and a second axis, a second suspension element rotatably about the second axis, and a hydraulic actuation system operably coupled to the tongue, the first suspension element, and the second suspension element. In the transport operation mode, hydraulic fluid is allowed to flow into the hydraulic actuation system to rotate the first suspension element about the first axis, and subsequently rotate the first and second suspension elements about the second axis.

Integrated transport coupling system

A transport assembly for a harvesting head that includes head connector arms, a transport axle, and a coupling system with a latch actuator, and first and second latch mechanisms coupled to the latch actuator and located at opposite ends of the transport axle. The transport assembly functions in working and transport modes. In the working mode, the first and second latch mechanisms latch the first and second head connector arms to the transport axle to latch the harvesting head to the transport axle. When the latch actuator is activated, the first and second latch mechanisms release the first and second head connector arms from the transport axle to allow the harvesting head to separate from the transport axle. When the latch actuator is not activated, the first and second latch mechanisms can be biased to remain latched.

COMPUTER CONTROLLED HYDRAULIC CONDITIONER ROLL TENSIONING ADJUSTMENT

In one embodiment, a system, comprising: one or more pairs of oppositely rotatable, laterally extending rolls, wherein for each pair, at least one of the rolls is moveable relative to the other of the rolls; a hydraulic circuit, comprising: a tensioner circuit comprising: for each pair of rolls, one or more pairs of hydraulic cylinders arranged in parallel, each configured to resist movement of the at least one of the rolls at a respective end of the at least one of the rolls; an accumulator arranged in parallel to the hydraulic cylinders; and plural control valves; and a computing system configured to cause the one or more pairs of hydraulic cylinders to adjust the resistance to movement of the at least one of the rolls of the respective pair of rolls by sending signals to one or more of the plural control valves.

METHODS FOR CREATING MERGED TRIPLE WINDROWS
20180332771 · 2018-11-22 ·

In one aspect, a method for creating merged triple windrows within a field may include performing a first cutting pass across a first triple windrow set of the field in a first harvesting direction so as to sever materials from the ground and deposit the severed materials within a first cut strip to form a first deposit of severed materials. The method may also include performing a second cutting pass across a second triple windrow set of the field subsequent to the first cutting pass in a second harvesting direction opposite the first harvesting direction so as to sever materials from the ground and deposit the severed materials within a second cut strip to form a first separate deposit of severed materials. Moreover, the method may include performing subsequent cutting passes across the first triple windrow set to create a merged triple windrow within the first cut strip.

Swather with a single or double raking frame, device for arms with wheel rakes and corresponding wheel rakes
10123481 · 2018-11-13 · ·

A swather having a horizontal bar with a device for connection to a towing vehicle and a generally horizontal bar, transverse to the first one, each end of which is associated with a generally vertical member bearing a wheel. The assembly of the transverse bar and the vertical members being associated with generally horizontal long arms directed toward a first end of the first horizontal bar and pivotally connected to the transverse bar or the vertical members, so that the arms, when extended to a working position, provide a V-shaped or Y-shaped configuration. Each arm is equipped with a pivoting wheel with tire at its end remote from the transverse bar, or distal end, and with wheel rakes. At least the pivoting wheels with tires are equipped with shock absorbing means capable of attenuating impulsive loads due to impact of the wheels against ground irregularities.
