Windrow shield control system for a header of an agricultural harvester
An agricultural harvester is provided which includes a chassis and harvesting wheels, transport wheels and windrow shields connected to the chassis. The transport wheels are deployed in concert with the windrow shields in order to avoid damage to the windrow shields during placement of the transport wheels into an operative, ground contacting position. A first actuator opens and closes the windrow shields for field and transport operations and windrow shield positioning mechanisms are configured to dispose the windrow shields in a plurality of cut crop opening widths when the windrow shields are in an open position. The first actuator is operated remotely in-cab to eliminate need for the harvester operator to dismount the harvester and open and close the windrow shields for field and road transport operations. The windrow shield positioning mechanisms may be manually adjusted or automatically adjusted in-cab.
Center pivot mower system with end of row mower adjustment
An agricultural mower system includes a towing vehicle and a mower. The towing vehicle has a tongue coupler. The mower includes a tongue pivotably coupled to the tongue coupler so the mower is on a first side of a towing centerline. A towing angle is defined with respect to the towing centerline. A tongue actuator is coupled to the tongue to pivot the tongue. A towing angle sensor outputs a towing angle signal. A controller is configured to: (i) determine the towing vehicle has initiated an end-of-row turning operation; and (ii) output an adjustment signal to the tongue actuator responsively to determining the end-of-row turning operation has initiated so the tongue actuator moves the tongue such that the mower defines the towing angle on a second side of the towing centerline by a conclusion of the end-of-row turning operation.
Center pivot mower system with end of row mower adjustment
An agricultural mower system includes a towing vehicle and a mower. The towing vehicle has a tongue coupler. The mower includes a tongue pivotably coupled to the tongue coupler so the mower is on a first side of a towing centerline. A towing angle is defined with respect to the towing centerline. A tongue actuator is coupled to the tongue to pivot the tongue. A towing angle sensor outputs a towing angle signal. Agricultural device equipped with a pick-up mechanism and a cross conveyor belt
A device, which is movable over ground in a direction of travel, where the device is equipped with at least one pick-up mechanism for picking up a product from the ground, as well as at least one conveyor belt arranged to convey the picked up material in at least one direction extending sidewards with respect to the direction of travel, and to deposit said material on the ground, wherein the pick-up comprises at least one pick-up element configured to pick up product from the ground by means of rotation about an axis extending substantially parallel with respect to the conveying direction of conveyor belt, wherein the device is equipped with a guiding unit forming an ascending ramp for the product, the guiding unit being arranged to move the picked up product towards the conveyor belt at an angle of at least 20 degrees with respect to a horizontal plane. A self-propelled agricultural machine and a trailed agricultural machine being equipped with such a device.
