Check valve assembly

A check valve assembly is configured to couple to a first container that retains a first fluid and a second container that retains a second fluid. The check valve includes a fluid inlet housing including a first fluid inlet port defining a first fluid inlet channel, and a second fluid inlet port defining a second fluid inlet channel. A fluid outlet housing is coupled to the fluid inlet housing. The fluid outlet housing includes a fluid outlet port defining a fluid outlet channel. A first diaphragm is seated over the first fluid inlet channel. At least a portion of the first diaphragm is configured to unseat over the first fluid inlet channel to allow the first fluid to pass from the first fluid inlet channel into the fluid outlet channel. A second diaphragm is seated over the second fluid inlet channel. At least a portion of the second diaphragm is configured to unseat over the first fluid inlet channel to allow the second fluid to pass from the second fluid inlet channel into the fluid outlet channel.

CHECK VALVE WITH INTEGRATED FILTER

A check valve may include an upper housing defining an inlet, a lower housing defining an outlet, and a cavity interposed between and defined by the upper and lower housings for fluidly connecting the inlet and the outlet. The check valve may further include a flexible valve member mounted in the cavity to selectively permit fluid flow in a first direction, and prevent fluid backflow in a second direction opposite to the first direction. A filter member may be mounted in the upper housing, upstream of the flexible valve member. The filter member may have an elongated portion configured to maximize surface area thereof exposed to the fluid flow, and restrict passage of undesirable matter in fluid flowing through the check valve.

Male reflux valve

A male reflux valve comprising a distal body portion and a proximal body portion, the proximal body portion having a male connection for connection to a female connection of an access device, a valve element operatively positioned within the distal body portion, a core operatively positioned within the distal body portion to retain the valve element into sealing engagement with the distal body portion and an actuator reciprocably retained within a generally circular cylindrical longitudinal bore of the proximal body portion in engagement with the valve element to open the valve element when engaged by the female connection of the access device.

Fluid flow control systems for medical applications

In one aspect, fluid flow control systems, such as for medical applications, may include a resistance barrier and a flexible ring that may receive a device. The resistance barrier may exert barrier forces on the device, and the flexible ring may exert ring forces on the device, in order to create a fluid tight seal.

CHECK VALVE

A check valve for use in a fluid pathway. The check valve may have a diaphragm and a plurality of supports extending from the diaphragm. The check valve and supports have a line of symmetry, and deformation of the check valve as it moves from a closed position to an opened position can be generally along the line of symmetry.

CHECK VALVE ASSEMBLY

An infusion set check valve assembly includes a self-contained housing that defines inlet ports and an outlet port. The assembly also includes at least one check valve disposed within the self-contained housing between the outlet channel and at least one of the inlet ports. The at least one check valve is configured to open for a first fluid to flow from a first inlet to a patient line via an outlet channel while a second fluid also flows from a second inlet to the patient line via the outlet channel. The at least one check valve closes to prevent the first fluid from flowing to the patient line via the outlet channel while the second fluid flows to the patient line.

Check valve assembly, medical functional device and a blood treatment apparatus

A check valve assembly having an inlet and an outlet for medical fluids, comprising a valve body, wherein the check valve assembly in an initial state allows a flow of a working fluid and/or a sterilization fluid through the check valve assembly in both directions of flow, that is from the inlet to the outlet and vice versa, and wherein the check valve assembly in an operating state allows only one direction of flow of the working fluid, wherein the check valve assembly comprises a pin-pin-reception connection, which is embodied so that the check valve assembly can be transferred from the initial state into the operating state by applying force on the pin-pin-reception connection and/or by an impression of path on the pin-pin-reception connection.
