INTRAVASCULAR BLOOD PUMPS, MOTORS, AND FLUID CONTROL
Intravascular blood pumps systems and methods of use. The blood pump system includes a catheter portion having a distal blood pump with one or more distal collapsible impellers. The system can include a clean purge fluid pathway to carry clean fluid distally to the blood pump and a purge fluid return pathway to carry return fluid proximally into an external motor and out a proximal end of the motor, and optionally to a waste reservoir.

Vena-caval occlusion element
Apparatus and methods are described including a catheter, a first pump disposed on the catheter, and a second pump disposed on the catheter, proximally to the first pump. A control unit is configured to control activation of the first and second pumps. The first and second pumps are configured, when activated, to pump fluid in opposite directions from one another. Other applications are also described.
INTRAVASCULAR BLOOD PUMP
An intravascular blood pump (1) comprises a pumping device and a catheter (5). The pumping device comprises a drive shaft (12), a rotor (10) located at a distal end of the drive shaft (5), a housing (11), in which the rotor (10) is housed, and a distal bearing (14) for rotatably supporting a distal end of the rotor (10). The distal bearing (14) comprises a static support member (18), which protrudes into or up against the distal end of the rotor (10). The rotor (10) and housing (11) may be expandable, and the pin (19) may have a sufficient length to prevent disengagement of the pin (19) from the distal end of the rotor (10) when the rotor (10) and the housing (11) are in a collapsed state.
Intravascular blood pump with external motor and centrifugal force-driven expansion of impeller blades and/or expandable and collapsible impeller housing
The present invention provides an intravascular blood pump system with an external motor and comprising an impeller housing and/or impeller blade(s) that may be expandable and collapsible. The blade(s) and/or impeller housing may be biased to expand or may be expanded by centrifugal forces generated during rotation of the impeller and blades an operatively connected rotational external motor.

INTRAVASCULAR BLOOD PUMP
An improved intravascular blood pump. Intravascular blood pumps using the present technology may be powered by an onboard motor unit configured to be located inside the patient's body, but which is separated from the pump unit by a flexible intermediate section housing a flexible drive shaft.
Method and Device for Pre-Casting Conduit Holes in Building Foundations
A method of constructing multiple conduits in building foundations that eliminates the process of core drilling after the foundation has been poured and set. This method creates optional openings for possible future connections. The process uses removable conduit molds installed before the foundation is poured. Once the foundation has set, conduit molds are removed to explose conduits in the foundation as needed.
FUNCTIONAL ELEMENT, IN PARTICULAR FLUID PUMP, HAVING A HOUSING AND A CONVEYING ELEMENT
The invention relates to a fluid pump having a housing delimiting a fluid chamber and having a conveying element for the fluid disposed in the fluid chamber, the housing, with respect to the shape and/or size thereof, being able to be changed between at least a first, expanded state and a second, compressed state. The object, to stabilise adequately a corresponding housing, is achieved according to the invention by the housing having at least one stabilisation chamber which can be supplied with a fluid pressure and is different from the fluid chamber, the first state of the housing being assigned to a first fluid pressure in the stabilisation chamber and the second state of the housing being assigned to a second fluid pressure.
