Devices and Methods for Neuromodulation
In one aspect, a neuromodulation device is described herein. In some embodiments, a neuromodulation device comprises a chamber operable to receive a nerve, at least one electrode disposed in the chamber, and a channel defined by two walls. In some embodiments, the channel of the device is in fluid communication with an interior of the chamber and an external surface of the device. In another aspect, methods of neuromodulation are described herein. In some embodiments, methods described herein can use one or more neuromodulation devices described herein.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING FEMALE URINARY INCONTINENCE AND FECAL INCONTINENCE
A device and method for treating female urinary incontinence and also for treating fecal incontinence are presented. A fractional RF grid array is used to heat target tissue to a temperature of about 40-45? C. for a specified period of time, thus stimulating fibroblasts to produce type 1 collagen preferably without producing significant amounts of type 3 collagen. The device includes a temperature sensor and a control circuit to maintain the desired temperature of the target tissue and avoid overheating. Target tissue includes tissue in and around the urethra, and in and around the anus including the perineum. The wand to which the RF grid array is mounted has visible gradations on it so that the user can treat one area at a time, then reliably move the grid array to the next adjacent area even though the grid array is hidden from view inside a portion of the body. The device can also be used for vaginoplasty.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING BLADDER AND/OR BOWEL DYSFUNCTION
Systems and methods for treating bladder and/or bowel dysfunction of a patient includes a stimulation element implanted to stimulate one or more target sites, and a sensor to sense sensing at least one parameter of the patient indicative of a potential bladder or bowel dysfunction event. In some examples, stimulation energy is applied to an anatomical structure of the patient as a function of the sensed parameter, for example to address the potential bladder or bowel dysfunction event.
Vibratory actuator and device for sexual stimulation
A device for sexual stimulation, preferably including: an interaction module; a power module; and a stimulation unit driver. The interaction module preferably includes a haptic stimulation unit enclosed by a first unitary housing and electrically coupled to a first electrical port. The power module preferably includes: an input mechanism; and a rechargeable battery enclosed by a second unitary housing and electrically coupled to a second electrical port. The first and second unitary housings are preferably configured to be removably mechanically coupled to each other by the first and second electrical ports, which are preferably configured to be removably electrically coupled to each other. When the first and second electrical ports are electrically coupled, the stimulation unit driver is preferably electrically coupled to the rechargeable battery, the haptic stimulation unit, and the input mechanism.
Uterine electrical stimulation system and method
Systems and methods for applying stimulating current to a patient for treating insufficient uterine contractions are provided. The system includes stimulation electrodes of a balloon electrode array device, a ring electrode array device, an electrode probe device, or a mesh electrode array device. Some aspects of the invention also provide a connector and cable device for coupling the stimulation electrodes to electronics for generating and providing the stimulating current to the stimulation electrodes.
Interactive muscle training device and method
The present invention is a system and method for providing an electrical stimulation signal to condition the pelvic wall muscles of a user and demonstrate to the user the proper muscle usage. The system and method also provides a system for measuring the users muscle response. The system and method also provides an entertaining interaction environment which encourages the user to perform self-initiated conditioning exercises.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PELVIC FLOOR TISSUE TREATMENT
A method for a genital tissue treatment comprises providing a device including a central control unit, an energy generator and an internal applicator, wherein the internal applicator is detachable and includes at least one ring-shaped circular energy delivery element encircling or around the internal applicator, with the at least one circular energy delivery element, inserting the internal applicator into vagina and into or onto the genital tissue, transferring radiofrequency energy into the genital tissue, heating the genital tissue and, wherein the applicator includes at least one temperature sensor in communication with the central control unit or the energy generator and providing a feedback during treatment, wherein the feedback includes changing output of at least one energy delivery element.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ADJUSTING A NEUROSTIMULATION THERAPY
The systems and methods described herein generally relate to adjusting a neurostimulation (NS) therapy based on drug pharmacokinetics of a patient. The systems and methods deliver an NS therapy to a portion of electrodes of a lead positioned proximate to neural tissue of interest, which is associated with a target region. The NS therapy is defined by stimulation parameters. The systems and methods determine a trigger event indicative of a drug being administered to a patient. The drug is configured to affect at least one of the neural tissue of interest or the target region. The systems and methods adjust one or more of the stimulation parameters based on the PS profile.
