Implantable pulse generator carrier used to interface with multiple lead sizes
An apparatus and method of electrically coupling a previously implanted stimulation lead with a replacement neurostimulator device. The apparatus and method configured to operably couple a proximal portion of a neuromodulation adapter including a plurality of electrical conductors spaced apart at a first pitch spacing to a corresponding plurality of electrical terminals of a replacement neurostimulator device, and operably couple a distal end of the neuromodulation adapter including a plurality of conductor elements and an electrically active set screw spaced part of a second pitch spacing to a corresponding plurality of electrical connectors of a previously implanted stimulation lead.
Tools and systems for implanting and/or retrieving a leadless cardiac pacing device with helix fixation
A system may include a leadless cardiac pacing device including a body, a proximal hub, and a helical fixation member opposite the proximal hub; and a first elongate shaft having a lumen extending from a distal end of the elongate shaft proximally into the elongate shaft and a transverse member extending transversely across the lumen. The proximal hub may include a transverse channel extending into the proximal hub, the transverse channel being configured to engage the transverse member.
Intra-body device communication with redundant message transmission
Implantable medical devices (IMD), such as but not limited to leadless cardiac pacemakers (LCP), subcutaneous implantable cardioverter defibrillators (SICD), transvenous implantable cardioverter defibrillators, neuro-stimulators (NS), implantable monitors (IM), may be configured to communicate with each other. In some cases, a first IMD may transmit instructions to a second IMD. In order to improve the chances of a successfully received transmission, the first IMD may transmit the instructions several times during a particular time frame, such as during a single heartbeat. If the second IMD receives the message more than once, the second IMD recognizes that the messages were redundant and acts accordingly.
LEADLESS CARDIAC PACEMAKER WITH RETRIEVAL FEATURES
An implantable leadless cardiac pacing device and associated retrieval features. The implantable device includes a docking member extending from the proximal end of the housing of the implantable device including a covering surrounding at least a portion of the docking member configured to facilitate retrieval of the implantable leadless cardiac pacing device.
METHOD OF FABRICATING A HOUSING FOR AN IMPLANTABLE MEDICAL DEVICE HAVING INTEGRATED FEATURES
One aspect is a method of fabricating a housing for an implantable medical device, including forming a first housing portion of metal using an additive manufacturing process such that features are integrated into the first portion. A second housing portion of metal is also formed. The first and second housing portions are joining thereby sealing an internal space of the housing within first and second portions and fully containing the features such that they are hermetically sealed relative to an external space outside the housing.

SYNTHETIC SKIN FOR RECORDING AND MODULATING PHYSIOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES
A method produces a device adapted to be implanted into the human body for purposes such as neural stimulation, sensing or the like. The method includes: providing a stretchable layer or membrane of an insulating material; forming on the layer or membrane at least one stretchable conductive path; depositing at least one small bolus of a soft and conductive paste or material onto pre-defined areas or portions of the at least one conductive path, and inserting a first end portion of a conductive element 71 into the at least one bolus of soft conductive paste or material. A second end portion of the conductive element opposite to the first end portion is not inserted into the at least one bolus.

Ingestible Electrical Device for Stimulating Tissues in a Gastrointestinal Tract of an Organism
In one aspect, an ingestible, electrical device, comprises one or more electrodes comprising a biocompatible conducting material and a biocompatible insulating material; a generator connected to the one or more electrodes; and an outer casing enclosing the one or more electrodes and the generator, the outer casing configured to dissolve in an aqueous environment of the organism; wherein the one or more electrodes have a first form factor when enclosed in the outer casing and a second form factor following a dissolution of the outer casing, the first form factor is a form factor that is collapsed an increased amount relative to an amount that the second form factor is collapsed, and the second form factor is a form factor that is collapsed a decreased amount relative to an amount that the first form factor is collapsed.
Biostimulator Circuit with Flying Cell
A leadless cardiac pacemaker is provided which can include any number of features. In one embodiment, the pacemaker can include a tip electrode, pacing electronics disposed on a p-type substrate in an electronics housing, the pacing electronics being electrically connected to the tip electrode, an energy source disposed in a cell housing, the energy source comprising a negative terminal electrically connected to the cell housing and a positive terminal electrically connected to the pacing electronics, wherein the pacing electronics are configured to drive the tip electrode negative with respect to the cell housing during a stimulation pulse. The pacemaker advantageously allows p-type pacing electronics to drive a tip electrode negative with respect to the can electrode when the can electrode is directly connected to a negative terminal of the cell. Methods of use are also provided.
