PHYSICAL ACTIVITY TRAINING ASSISTANT
20190366154 · 2019-12-05 ·

The devices, systems, and methods described herein enable an automatic training assistant for physical activity by receiving sensor data representing an actual path of motion of a user during a physical activity, comparing the received sensor data to an identified activity model that includes an expected path of motion corresponding to the user's physiology, identifying a deviation from the identified activity model based on the comparison, generating a suggestion based on the identified deviation to remediate the identified deviation, and presenting the generated suggestion to the user. The automatic training assistant enables activity detection frameworks that automatically identify weaknesses of the user's performance of a particular physical activity, automatically generate suggestions to remediate such weaknesses, and optionally track the effectiveness of the suggestions.

EXERCISE MACHINE WITH MOVABLE USER SUPPORT

An exercise machine with a two directional pivoting user support assembly has a user support or platform which supports the user and pivots about a first pivot axis during an exercise movement, and is also pivotable about at least one second pivot axis to involve the user's core muscles in balancing and maintaining the user support in a stable position. A manually operable locking device with a simple flip switch lever is provided for selectively locking the user support against rotation about the second pivot axis, so that the user can easily chose whether to perform the exercise with a stable support or to add a level of difficulty by using the unstable seat mode and exercising core muscles during the exercise.

DUMBBELL

A dumbbell with a selectable number of weight disks includes a handle with pins projectable in opposing directions, a base assembly for accommodating two sets of weight disks standing upright, and having through-going openings. Neighbouring weight disks have mutually cooperating connecting arrangements which axially interconnect the weight disks but which permit radial separation. The projection lengths of the pins are stepwise selectable in order thereby to permit selection of the number of weight disks carried on the handle. The handle has, in opposing ends, connecting arrangements for interconnecting with the connecting arrangements of the innermost weight disks in the base assembly. Further, the space between the connecting arrangements of the handle is free through 360? about the handle throughout its entire length, the openings of the weight disks being centrally located.

Dynamically variable radius cam for weight lifting apparatus
10478659 · 2019-11-19 ·

A variable radius cam mechanism is configured for use in a weight lifting apparatus. The variable radius cam mechanism includes a disk configured to rotate about an axis. The cam mechanism includes a cable guide coupled to the disk and defining a path for a cable and a radial tangent distance between the cable and the axis. The cam mechanism further includes one or more actuators coupled to the disk and the cable guide and configured to move the cable guide relative to the disk to change the radial tangent distance during rotation about the axis. The cam mechanism includes a controller programmed to operate the one or more actuators to cause the one or more actuators to move the cable guide to change the radial tangent distance thereby changing a force transferred through the cam mechanism.

Multi grip assembly for health device

The present invention relates to a multi grip assembly including: a support bar formed in the shape of a bar having a predetermined length, including a coupling hook detachably coupled to an upper portion of the health device, and a pair of position movement rails left and right formed through an inside along a longitudinal direction with respect to a center; a pair of grips movably coupled to the pair of position movement rails and gripped by both hands of the user, wherein each of the pair of grips includes: a grip body of a closed figure shape in which a user's hand is gripped; and a support bar coupling ring coupled to an upper portion of the grip body and fitted in the pair of position movement rails to move along the pair of position movement rails by an external force, wherein the pair of position movement rails include a plurality of grip fixing grooves which are recessively formed in a lower inner direction at predetermined distances along the longitudinal direction to fix a position of the support bar coupling ring.

WEIGHT STACK ISOLATOR AND SELECTORIZED MACHINE INCORPORATING THE SAME
20190321709 · 2019-10-24 ·

A weight stack isolator comprises an impact damper having a rail void therein configured to receive a guide rail of a selectorized machine. The impact damper is shaped to at least partially surround a section of the guide rail when received in the rail void, to secure the weight stack isolator to the selectorized machine. The weight stack isolator may include a slit extending from its outer perimeter to the rail void or the rail void may extend to the outer perimeter, to removably receive the guide rail in the rail void. The weight stack isolator can be positioned under a weight stack of the selectorized machine to absorb or dampen noise and vibration.

Arm extension exercise apparatus

Apparatus for performing an arm extension exercise comprising: a frame, a seat having a seating surface (S), an elbow pad having an engaging surface (ES), an input arm assembly interconnected to a resistance mechanism and a manually graspable mechanism, the input arm assembly being adapted to reside in a start motionless position (SMP) that disposes the manually graspable mechanism in a start exercise position (SEP) that is disposed vertically above UW) the user's elbows, the input arm assembly being pivotable around a linear axis disposed rearwardly of the user's elbow.
