Ball with a plurality of mechanical sound-producing devices
A toy ball which emits sounds as it is rolled and including a ball body and a plurality of mechanically-operated sound producing tubes carried within the ball body, each sound producing tube including a sound-producing device which moves by the force of gravity, and each sound producing tube lying along a longitudinal axis, in which the axes are transverse to one another so that the sound producing devices emit sound when the ball is rolled along various axes. The ends of the sound-producing tubes are held by sleeves that are molded as integral parts of the ball body.
Baseball swing training apparatus
The present disclosure relates to a baseball swing training apparatus. In various embodiments, the apparatus includes a handle, a shaft having a tip portion, a handle stopper having a receptacle, a tip stopper coupled to the tip portion of the shaft, a sliding sleeve positioned around the shaft, where the sliding sleeve is shorter than the shaft and cooperates with the shaft to be slideable along the shaft between the handle stopper and the tip stopper, and an elastic band assembly having one end coupled to the sliding sleeve and another end configured to be couplable to the receptacle of the handle stopper.
LOW FRICTION REHABILITATION BOARD WITH AN INTEGRAL BAND RETAINING FEATURE AND METHODS OF REHABILITATION
A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a user's limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.
Basketball shot training device to improve jump shots
A basketball shot training device comprising a wrist band 1; a finger piece 2 having two different size open ring holes 3, 4 for placement and securing on the user's index and middle fingers, a forked shaft portion 5 with a straight connection 6 to said open ring hole 3 for the index finger and a curved connection 7 to said open ring hole for the middle finger; and a straight shaft portion 8 connected at one end to said forked shaft portion and at the opposite end having an attachment means 9 to attach to said wrist band.
Golf club head
A golf club head comprises a sole, a recessed sole port in the sole; and a rotatably adjustable sole piece adapted to be at least partially received within the sole port and comprising a central body having a plurality of contact surfaces adapted to contact the sole port and being offset from each other along a central axis extending through the central body of the sole piece. The sole piece can be positioned at least partially within the sole port at five or more rotational and axial positions with respect to the central axis, wherein at each rotational position, at least one of said contact surfaces of the central body contacts the sole port to set the axial position of the sole piece. The sole port and/or the sole piece can be generally pentagonal in shape.
PUTTING TRAINING DEVICE
A golf club device for improving one's golf abilities is disclosed. The device includes a head, and a shaft where the head is rotatably connected to at least an upper portion of the shaft. Rotation is achieved with an angular rotation mechanism. The angular rotation mechanism may include a variable resistance feature. The angular rotation mechanism may be positioned in or on the head, or it may be positioned in the shaft. One or more visual alignment indicators may also be employed.
Devices And Method For Increasing Running Performance
A running device and method of using the device are disclosed. The device may include a moveable material within an inner chamber of the running device's housing. In operation, a running device may be held in each hand and the runner may thrust both hands downward prior to landing and quickly bring the devices to a vertical stop after landing. Bringing the devices to a vertical stop may cause the moveable material to collide with the housing and increase the force exerted by the runner on the ground. A delay component may delay the peak force exerted by the material against the housing so that the translation of that force to the ground coincides with the peak force that the runner would have exerted against the ground in the absence of the devices.
Exercise Ball
An exercise ball may provide two independent sections, a first separable section and a second separable section, that a user may utilize for weight training and mind-body exercises. The first separable section and the second separable section may be held by a user in opposite hands for weight training and other exercises. The exercise ball may be a Tai Chi ball that may include a plurality of polymagnets provided in an interior of the exercise ball that may keep the two separable sections together. The plurality of polymagnets may provide a push-release or twist-release attachment and detachment to attach and detach the sections.
