Attachment for a retractable lanyard
Provided herein is a lanyard attachment for storing a lanyard. The lanyard attachment has a housing, means for releasably storing a lanyard in the housing, for example a rotatable spool, a guide at the proximal end of the housing to guide the lanyard into the housing and a holder at the distal end from which an object is suspended. Also provided is a retractable lanyard in which a cord or lanyard is stored in a coiled configuration within the housing and a system for releasably storing a lanyard in the lanyard attachment.
Mobile phone case apparatus and system
A mobile phone case. A charging cable or an audio cable, or a combination thereof, can be stored within the mobile phone case and deployed outward as desired. Alternatively, the cable can provide the added utility of mounting, hanging, and tying capabilities for attachment of the mobile phone case onto certain physical objects or the human body. Furthermore, the mobile phone case may provide multiple anchor points to create a rigging system with the cable that forms various suspension configurations for a desired location.
PHONE CARRIER
A carrier for use with a cellular telephone and a removable case configured to receive the cellular telephone. The carrier includes a tab portion and a loop. The tab portion is configured to be positioned between the cellular telephone and the case when the cellular telephone is received within the case. The loop is connected to the tab portion and extends outwardly therefrom. The loop is configured to extend outwardly from the case through a through-hole formed in the case when the tab portion is positioned between the cellular telephone and the case.
Smart Retractable Holster Harness System For Electronic Devices
A retractable holder for a smartphone is formed with a housing, a connection mechanism for connecting and disconnecting the smartphone to the housing, a first lanyard loop comprising lanyard cords that are reeled onto or deployed from cord storage spools located inside the housing, a second lanyard loop comprising lanyard cords that are reeled onto or deployed from cord storage spools located inside the housing and a lanyard control mechanism. The lanyard control mechanism applies a retracting force to each of the cord storage spools, the retracting force operational to reel the lanyard cord extending from the housing in a deployed state to the cord's respective cord storage spool and to enable a user draw out and deploy a fixed length of the lanyard cord from the cord's respective cord storage spool
Retractable fitness towel and holder
A retractable fitness towel holder includes an elongated flexible band for looping around a user's arm. A frame disposed on the band is held against the user's arm with a loop portion extending away from the user's arm. A retracting mechanism is biased to retract a cord coupled to the towel, and the towel is retractably suspended from the towel channel such that it extends through the loop portion and away from the holder. Pulling the towel through the loop portion and away from the frame, causes the cord to unspool from the retracting mechanism, and releasing the towel causes the retracting mechanism to re-spool the cord, thereby drawing the towel back through the loop portion to rest against the frame, holding the towel in place during exercise.
PORTABLE RECEPTACLE WITH AN INTEGRATED LANYARD REEL
A portable receptacle with an integrated lanyard reel includes a portable receptacle. The receptacle includes a reel attached to the portable receptacle. The receptacle includes a lanyard wound on the reel, the lanyard having a distal end, the lanyard movable between a retracted position in which the distal end is a first distance from the reel and an extended position in which the distal end is a second distance from the reel, the second distance greater than the first distance.
The lanyard control mechanism applies a retracting force to each of the cord storage spools, the retracting force operational to reel the lanyard cord extending from the housing in a deployed state to the cord's respective cord storage spool and to enable a user draw out and deploy a fixed length of the lanyard cord from the cord's respective cord storage spool.
Equipment carrier with extensible tether
An equipment carrier comprises one or more support members, an equipment holder, and an extensible tether. The equipment holder receives and retains an equipment item. The support members support the equipment holder against a wearer's torso or limb. The extensible tether is attached to the carrier is attached to the equipment item. The extensible tether is under tension and elongated when the equipment item retained by the equipment holder, and is under negligible tension and not elongated the equipment item held by the wearer at the wearer's face or head.
BADGE HOLDER INCORPORATING PERSONAL SAFETY SYSTEM
A personal emergency notification system which is incorporated into a badge holder or similar item. This allows for a user to have an emergency notification system attached to a badge, keycard, or other similar access pass that a user will otherwise need to have on their person at work or in another specific environment but otherwise is not necessary. Further, the system can have various automatic features when an emergency is detected in the work area, the system may also be able to recognize when the user is on site, near the site (e.g. in a mustering area or rally point), or offsite and safe. These automatic features may also be used during an evacuation drill to obtain valuable data on area evacuation.
RETRACTOR WITH ALLIGATOR CLAMP SYSTEM
A retractor system is disclosed comprising a retractor and a clamp to mount the retractor in the desired location for use. In some embodiments, the retractor can be mounted to the clothing of the user, and different clamps can be used such as alligator clamps. The system according to the present invention allows for robust and reliable mounting of the retractor while allowing for some movement of the retractor housing during use to reduce wear on the line extending from the retractor housing. One retractor and clamping system according to the present invention comprising a retractor having a front and back surface, and at least one edge surface. A clamp is included that is arranged for attaching directly to a user's piece of clothing, wherein the clamp is integral to the retractor at one of the surfaces of the retractor and wherein the clamp extends beyond at least one edge surfaces with the clamp opening away from the retractor. A line is included that is capable of being extended and retracted from and back into the retractor, with a connector included on the line for connecting to a personal article.
