An extendable and retractable earpiece cable assembly for mobile communication or sound devices including a housing integrally formed with or detachably connected to a casing for protecting a mobile electronic device. The housing receives a mechanism around which at least one earpiece cable is removably wound. The earpiece cable is extendable from and retractable into the housing.

A hand-tool retractor cover includes a body portion and a handle portion attached to and extending from the body portion. The body portion has a first-side wall, a second-side wall spaced apart from and substantially parallel to the first-side wall, and a perimeter wall extending transversely between and connecting the first-side wall to the second-side wall. A retractable storage system for a handheld electronic device includes a protective housing member operative shaped and sized to bound the handheld electronic device and enable wrapping around the handheld electronic device. At least one accessory station structured is on the housing member, and has an aperture to arrest and dispense an accessory item. At least one storage chamber is structured on the housing member to store the accessory item. The protective housing member has a first housing part and a second housing part which combine to form one protective housing member.

A method for controlling an object cast from a human body involves attaching to a portion of the body a device that includes a body-engaging member, an attached axle, a reel rotatable on the axle, a cord attached to the reel and the object, and a spring that biases the reel to rotate in a direction to wind the cord on the reel and thereby retract the object towards the device. The body-engaging member includes a body-engaging surface that is contoured to substantially conform to a portion of the body. A case including the body-engaging member contains the axle and the reel, and defines an aperture for through passage of the cord. A garment wearable on the body secures the body-engaging member in a substantially fixed relationship to the body. A cord-to-object connector has relatively rotatable parts to allow the object to rotate without twisting of the cord.

A wearable weapon restraint system is provided. The system includes a cable having a proximal end and a distal end, a retractable cable reel configured to contain the cable and allow the cable to extend and/or retract relative to the retractable cable reel, and a conduit having a passageway extending along at least a portion of the conduit. The cable can be positioned such that at least a portion of the cable passes through the passageway of the conduit. The distal end of the cable can be coupled to a fastening device.

A tool holder has a pouch with a front panel, back panel, and a closure that opens and closes access to an enclosed pouch compartment. The pouch has an outer tether opening from the pouch compartment to outside of the pouch. The pouch has a retractor pocket with a pocket opening to the outside and an inner tether opening to the pouch compartment. A retractable tether assembly is disposed in the retractor pocket with a tether extending into the pouch compartment via the inner tether opening and attaching to a closed loop connector at the distal tether end. The closed loop connector can be selectively decoupled from the distal tether end and is larger than the tether openings. Each retractable tether may be selectively configured to extend through an outer tether opening for connection to a hand tool located outside of the pouch when the pouch is closed.

A cellular phone tethering system includes a housing that includes a rear wall with a top edge, a bottom edge, a first side edge and a second side edge. An outer wall is attached to and extends along the top edge and at least a portion of each of the first and second side edges. The outer wall extends forward of the rear wall. An inwardly extending lip is attached to and coextensive with an outer edge of the outer wall positioned opposite of the rear wall. The lip is configured to retain a cellular phone in the housing and in abutment with the rear wall. A loop is attached to the housing and a tether is attached to the loop. A reel is attached to the tether and a clip is attached to the reel. The clip is configured to releasably attach the reel to a personal item.
