The wirelessly locatable tag may further include a circuit board positioned between the first housing member and the frame member, a battery connector coupled to the circuit board and comprising a deflectable arm extending into the battery cavity through the opening in the frame member, a second housing member removably coupled to the frame member, and a biasing member configured to bias the button cell battery into the battery cavity of the frame member and against the deflectable arm of the battery connector.
Wheelchair joystick retriever
A retractable retrieval device comprising a lanyard, a retractable element, a retractable cord and a connecting element. The retractable element comprises a first end coupled to the lanyard and a retractable cord coupled to the connecting element is coupled to the retractable cord. The connecting element of the retractable retrieval device may be coupled to a reach extender.
Pouch or holster coupled with a retracting device
Holstering retractor devices or systems for securing a device or instrument when not in use, such that the instrument does not have to be held or slid into a pocket. The systems are coupled with a retracting device, integrated into the holster, such that if said instrument or device pops out of holster, or is dropped while in use, it is not lost or damaged. The present invention is also directed to systems utilizing the holster retractors, such as vest system having the holster retractor mounted to the vests.
DEVICE FOR HANDS-FREE HANGING A HAND-OPERATED TOOL
A device for hands-free hanging a hand-operated tool is attachable to a garment. The aforesaid device comprises: (a) a drum retractor having a rotatable reel loaded by a spring; (b) a cable having a first terminal secured to said reel and a second terminal connectable to said hand-operated tool; said cable is at least partially coiled on the rotatable reel. The cable is provided an arresting arrangement comprising a retaining member secured to the cable in cooperation with a quickly openable gate having an open position and a closed position such that the cable carrying the retaining member is uncoilable from the reel in the open position and blocked from uncoiling in the closed position.
Pouch with viewing windows and access openings
A tethered pouch adapted to carry an device, tool or equipment, has a shell with a proximal opening that leads to an interior pocket, wherein the shell is constructed of a first material and a second material where the second material may be configured as a viewing window and the shell has at least one access opening configured to receive a digit of a user's hand for contacting and operating the item, such as a mobile phone.
TOOL LANYARD DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
A lanyard device suitable for connecting a tool to a user in use, including a housing at least part of which is adapted to be connected to clothing, belt and/or safety harness. The housing including at least one socket means formed thereon and/or therein, said device also including a flexible lanyard or tether means, at least one end of which is adapted to connect to a tool in use. At least part of the said lanyard means includes a portion to be received and/or engage with said socket means and said socket means shaped and/or orientated such that the flexible lanyard cannot pass freely through said socket means when the user lets go of the tool and/or lanyard.
HOLDER
A holder in which a cord-like member is inhibited from being pulled out and is can suppress the load on a winding mechanism. A holder includes a casing internally housing a reel to which one end of a cord body is connected and winds up the cord body, having an opening communicating between inside and outside and through which the cord body passes when pulled out or wound up, and a magnet through which the cord body passes is provided in the opening, a carabiner attached to the casing, a detachable part to which the other end of the cord body is connected, having an opening through which the cord body is inserted, and a magnet through which the cord body passes is provided in the opening, and a ring attached to the detachable part, the detachable part being detachably attached to the casing, by the magnetization of the magnet.
Public Hand Protection System (PHPS)
A system for mitigating the transmission of infectious threats by providing an easy access to a cloth or mitt attached to a retractable cord to allow the user to grab a doorknob, subway passenger strap or pole without having skin contact with public touched surfaces. A protection cloth and retraction cord are attached to a personal attachment device, which can be worn on a belt, also has a container with sanitation solution that is applied to the protection cloth after use and can also be applied to a person's hands. A second cloth is also used to wipe down surfaces such as seats, knobs, switches, etc. providing a reusable sanitation cloth and refillable sanitation container. The invention will reduce the contact transmission of infectious disease threats in a more convenient method than current traditional methods of disposable cloths or liquids.
MULTIPLE MAGNET CONNECTION MECHANISM FOR RETRACTORS
Connector and retractor systems are disclosed with some embodiments comprising a retractor housing and a line within the retractor housing. The housing also has a hole from which the line extends, and a spring within the retractor housing which urges retraction of the line. A personal article can be attached to the line. A connector is included between the retractor housing and the personal article, with the connector having magnets to cause alignment of the personal article with the retractor housing when the personal article is retracted to the housing.
