An embodiment of an intelligent personal device detachment sensor apparatus and system for a lanyard, belt clip, pocket clip, or other worn device for displaying a security device, such as an identification and/or card or badge on an individual user. The device is particularly useful for monitoring the presence of the card, badge or other small asset, with many of such assets employed at security, environmental clearance, and access checkpoints. The apparatus consists of two parts, a user holder and an asset holder, held to one another in a “docked” condition using a permanent magnet of the asset holder attachable to a permanent magnet on the user holder. The user holder has a switch (e.g., a mechanical switch), an alarm device to produce an audible signal to the user, and a transmitter that transmits an alert through a network.

A portable container holder is operable to receive a handheld container and broadly includes a support structure and a flexible sleeve. The support structure is operable to support the portable drink holder while being transported. The sleeve includes opposite side walls that present an elongated opening to slidably receive the drink container. A tool collet for creating a lanyard attachment point on a hand tool that includes a collet body with a through opening, an annular groove in one of a first body side of the collet body, a second body side of the collet body or a peripheral body surface of the collet body, a lanyard ring having an annular end adapted to be disposed and captured within the annular groove where the lanyard ring is adapted to freely slide along the annular groove, and one or more fastening members adapted to securely fix the collet body around an elongated body of a hand tool.

A mobile computer-holding device includes a pocket for holding a mobile computer. The mobile computer-holding device includes a strap that is attached to an upper portion of the pocket and that is arranged to be detachably affixed to a lower portion of the pocket, so as to affect an angle of the upper portion of the pocket with regard to a portion of the pocket within which the mobile computer is held.

An effluent dispenser has a canister body with a dispensing end for dispensing the effluent, a holding body having a hollowed interior which the canister is supported interiorly therein and a holder surface that is adorned with jewelry features, including precious stones. Methods and apparatuses for moistening fingers are disclosed, including providing an apparatus comprising: open cell foam; a foam housing having a closed bottom, a sidewall coupled to the closed bottom, and a top having an opening and coupled to the sidewall, wherein the foam housing is configured to receive and retain the open cell foam; and a lid attached to the foam housing and having a closed top, a securing member, and a finger tab extending from the lid, wherein the securing member is configured to be press fit through the opening of the top of the foam housing to provide a substantially liquid tight closure between the foam housing and the lid; dispensing sanitizer through the opening of the top of the foam housing to load the open cell foam with sanitizer; and contacting the open cell foam with fingers to moisten. A connector assembly comprising a base having an adapter and a retainer, the adapter configured to reversibly couple to a wearable device using a magnet, ferromagnetic material, or combinations thereof; an elastic member partially positioned within the retainer, the elastic member having a first loop portion adjacent a first end of the retainer and a second loop portion adjacent a second end of the retainer; and wherein the elastic member is configured to stretchably move with respect to the base such that, responsive to a force pulling the first loop portion over a portion of an eyewear frame, the second loop portion changes in size.

This invention is for a portable electronic device hanger, which is specifically designed to be wore as a necklace. The hanger is designed as compact as possible, lightweight and with easy accessibility to the electronic device, including an adjustable lanyard which is fully retractable to facilitate storage. The electronic device is easily attached or detached from the hanger.

Provided are lanyards for a handheld electronic device featuring a loop section having a section of braided or woven strands of fiber and having a section of very thin profile being adapted for fitting between a handheld device and a case or cover placed thereon. The lanyards can be used with existing cases or covers. The lanyards are very strong, lightweight and help prevent damage to or loss of the handheld devices.
