Riding-type mower
In a riding-type mower, a vehicle body includes a rear portion in which a pair of right/left vehicle body frames extend in a front-rear direction relative to the vehicle body, with a gap therebetween in a lateral width direction. A mowing device is configured to discharge mown grass rearward relative to the vehicle body such that the mown grass falls onto the ground. A cover is provided in a bottom portion of the vehicle body, at a position that is rearward of the mowing device, and covers a gap between the pair of right/left vehicle body frames.
SWATHBOARD CONTROL WITH WINDROW MERGER ATTACHMENT
A windrower has a crop merger attachment with a conveyor configured to receive crop material from a crop conditioning mechanism and direct the crop material to a side of the windrower, the crop merger attachment being mounted for adjusting movement between a lowered and a raised position. The windrower has a swathboard mounted for adjusting movement between a fully raised position in which the crop material passes beneath the swathboard for engagement with the merger attachment and a lowered position in which the crop material down to the ground under the merger attachment under the windrower. A control system automatically adjusts movement of the swathboard when movement of the merger attachment is detected.
MOWER DECK INSERT
A mower comprises a deck comprising an underside cavity with a first interior profile; and a deck insert mounted within the underside cavity. The deck insert has a deck insert interior with a second interior profile different than the first interior profile.
Rearward facing multi-purpose camera with windrow width indications
A crop windrow monitoring system includes an image sensor positioned to include a field of view facing a rearward direction of a power unit, and a visual monitor operable to display an image. A computing device is operable to determine an intended direction of movement of the power unit. The image is displayed on the visual monitor in a first mode having a first magnification when the intended direction of movement includes the rearward direction. The image is displayed on the visual monitor in a second mode having a second magnification and overlaid with indicia indicating a width of the windrow when the intended direction of movement includes the forward direction. The second magnification may be larger than the first magnification.
MOWER DRIVEN BY ELECTRIC MOTORS
In a mower (10) driven by a pair of electric motors (15) and using an engine (14) for driving a cutter blade (22), a fuel tank (16) for supplying fuel to the engine is positioned in a space surrounded by the electric motors and a chute (30) for forwarding grass clippings to a grass collection bag (23). The chute extends rearward with an upward slant, and is bent in side view in such a manner that a lower part has a steeper incline than an upper part thereof.
DEBRIS DIVERTER FOR ROTARY CUTTERBAR
A rotary cutterbar disk hub assembly for diverting debris includes a cutterbar housing defining an internal cavity and a bearing housing defining an axis and coupled to the cutterbar housing. A labyrinth is defined in the bearing housing circumferentially about the axis, and a barrier is formed by the bearing housing at a location radially outward of the labyrinth. A disk hub is positioned concentric with the axis and coupled to the bearing housing and cutterbar housing. The disk hub forms at least one protrusion that extends towards the bearing housing and is radially adjacent to the labyrinth. The barrier restricts a portion of the debris from entering the labyrinth, and the at least one protrusion severs debris that is disposed near the labyrinth as the disk hub rotates.
MOWER CONDITIONER IMPELLER HOOD ACTUATING MECHANISM
A harvesting apparatus includes a crop conditioning element coupled to a frame, and a hood moveable relative to the crop conditioning element. An actuating system moveably connects the hood to the frame. The actuating system includes a driven lever arm rotatably attached to the frame and including a first lever connection and a second lever connection positioned opposite each other across a lever rotation axis. A first pivot assembly is rotatably attached to the frame and includes a first pivot connection coupled to the first lever connection of the driven lever arm, and a second pivot connection coupled to a first lift location of the hood. A second pivot assembly is rotatably attached to the frame and includes a third pivot connection coupled to the second lever connection of the driven lever arm, and a fourth pivot connection coupled to a second lift location of the hood.
Rotary mower with cutting deck with bidirectional cutting blades
A rotary lawn mower has one or more grass cutting blades that are rotatable in opposite directions about a vertical axis or axes. Each blade is double edged having front and rear cutting edges on each end of the blade. Each blade end has a front sloped face inboard of the front cutting edge and a rear sloped face inboard of the rear cutting edge. These faces create air flow within the cutting chamber when cutting grass regardless of the direction of rotation of the blade. The direction of rotation of each blade is reversed to switch between discharge and mulching modes of operation. A flow director has a curved vertical guide wall that guides the grass clippings through a discharge opening in the discharge mode and that guides the flow of grass clippings away from the discharge opening in the mulching mode.
GUIDE FOR REAR DISCHARGE OF LAWN MOWER
A lawn mower includes a first blade having a first tip, and a second blade having a second tip, wherein the first blade and the second blade are disposed adjacent to each other, and a rotation direction of the first blade is different from a rotation direction of the second blade, wherein, in a lateral direction of the lawn mower, a guide plate is disposed between a rotation center of the first blade and a rotation center of the second blade, and the guide plate is disposed above the second blade, and the guide plate extends toward a rear of the lawn mower.
Mower combination with location based conveyor control
An agricultural vehicle and connected mower having a number of mowing units suitable for cutting a standing crop, including a front mowing unit and two lateral mowing units located behind and to the sides of the front mowing unit, each of the lateral mowing units having conveyor units to deposit cut crop as a swath. A control unit receives a plurality of signals, representing the location of the mower combination and a direction of operation of each of the conveyor units, compares the signals to a predetermined set of values and as required, adjusts the direction of operation of at least one conveyor unit based on the comparison.
