LIQUID SAMPLE MEASUREMENT DEVICE WITH REMOVABLE LANCET OR BIOSENSOR
This liquid sample measurement device is provided with: a lancet mounting part to and from which a lancet device having a skin contact section for puncturing skin can be attached and detached; a sensor mounting part to which a biosensor, which is spotted with blood that comes out from the punctured skin, can be attached; and a measurement part that uses the biosensor attached to the sensor mounting part to measure the amounts of substances in the blood. The liquid sample measurement device includes a feature that makes it necessary to replace a lancet device that has been attached to the lance mounting part and has punctured skin, each time a lancet device is used to puncture skin.
Capillary Blood Collection Device
A device for obtaining a blood sample may include a holder for receiving a sample source, the holder having an actuation portion and a port; and a lancet removably connected to the holder, wherein the lancet is connected to the holder via a port formed on the holder, and wherein an opening defined by the port is dimensioned so as to receive the lancet at a predetermined location that ensures a desired puncture on a patient's finger lanced by the lancet.
Lancet Device
The lancet device includes a housing and a lancet having a puncturing element. The lancet is disposed within the housing and is adapted for axial movement between an initial or pre-actuated position wherein the puncturing element is retained within the housing, and a puncturing position wherein the puncturing element extends through a forward opening in the housing. The lancet device includes a drive spring disposed within the housing for biasing the lancet toward the puncturing position, and a retraction or return spring for returning the lancet to a position within the housing where the puncturing element is disposed within the housing. The retraction spring thereafter maintains engagement with the lancet to assist in preventing the puncturing element from again projecting outward from the forward opening in the housing.
Systems, Devices, and Methods For Bodily Fluid Sample Collection
Bodily fluid sample collection systems, devices, and method are provided. The device may comprise a first portion comprising at least a sample collection channel configured to draw the fluid sample into the sample collection channel via a first type of motive force. The sample collection device may include a second portion comprising a sample container for receiving the bodily fluid sample collected in the sample collection channel, the sample container operably engagable to be in fluid communication with the collection channel, whereupon when fluid communication is established, the container provides a second motive force different from the first motive force to move a majority of the bodily fluid sample from the channel into the container.

The liquid sample measurement device includes a feature that makes it necessary to replace a lancet device that has been attached to the lance mounting part and has punctured skin, each time a lancet device is used to puncture skin.
Protecting mechanism for blood sampling device
A protecting mechanism for a blood sampling device contains: a trigger unit and a switching assembly. The trigger unit includes a lancet holder, a triggering shaft, and a resilient element. The lancet holder has a launching portion, a first outer protrusion, a through orifice, and a first inner shoulder, wherein a bottom end of the triggering shaft moves in the through hole, and the triggering shaft has a first outer shoulder for engaging with the first inner shoulder of lancet holder, the resilient element is fitted with the triggering shaft and abuts against the lancet holder by ways of its bottom end. The switching assembly includes a fixing jacket having an abutting portion, a rotating tube having a first inner protrusion and two opposite second inner protrusions, and a driving sheath having two stopping sets, wherein each stopping set has two second outer protrusions.

Enhanced Lancing Device with Suction
A lancet device is formed of an outer housing that provides a source of vacuum. An inside, nested lancet device may provide lancet blade cocking, locking, and release functions. A forward shell can be pressed against the user's skin to thereby seal and establish a vacuum chamber around the lancing site. A sample collection strip resides at the lancing site to receive the produced blood sample. A sensor reads data from the sample and communicates with an internal processor to manage and communicate the data. The collection strip has multiple sectors serving as separate sampling areas that can be sequentially repositioned to an active location in line with the lancet blade. Each sampling area has a predefined hole in line with the path of the lancet blade so that the blade can cleanly traverse the sampling area.
SINGLE-USE COMPRESSION LANCING DEVICE
A single-use compression lancing device includes a bottom housing, a top housing, and a lancet. The lancet is generally within the bottom and top housings. The top housing is configured for slidingly engaging the bottom housing such that manipulation of the top housing relative to the bottom housing causes a sharp tip portion of the lancet to protrude from an opening of the top housing. In one form, at least one arm extending from the lancet interengages a portion of the top housing such that the lancet is retracted within a portion of the bottom housing.
