Feminine hygiene article with improved wings
Feminine hygiene articles are disclosed herein. The feminine hygiene articles described herein can provide easily discernable placement and orientation guides which reduce the likelihood of misapplication by the user, facilitated attachment guides which can reduce the likelihood of misapplication of the feminine pad, and can also reduce the likelihood of improper attachment of the feminine pad to a panty. The feminine hygiene articles disclosed include uniquely shaped wings which can provide cues on proper attachment of the article to the panty, and may help in providing sustained coverage of the feminine hygiene article to the panty which reduces the likelihood that the pad will become detached during use.
Absorbent article and method for manufacturing an absorbent article
An absorbent article having a main body having a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core sandwiched between the topsheet and the backsheet is disclosed. The main body has longitudinal and transversal axes. The article has two wings extending asymmetrically outwardly from a crotch portion of the main body in opposite directions with respect to the longitudinal axis. The wings are provided with means for fastening them to a garment when folded over the main body and towards the longitudinal axis. Each wing has an outer edge which defines at least one arc of a circle having a radius coinciding with a section of the outer edge. The section extends between a first point and a second point along the outer edge where the arc no longer coincides with the outer edge. The radius is between 40-500 mm. Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing the absorbent article.
Child sanitary napkin method and apparatus
The embodiments disclose an apparatus including a child sanitary napkin including a disposable child sanitary napkin underwear, wherein the child sanitary napkin includes a waterproof non porous outer layer, an adhered superabsorbent polymer layer, an odor absorbing activated charcoal pad layer with a soft cotton covering layer, an imprinted product barcode and an embedded RFID chip for tracking the child via a digital device cellular connection, wherein the child sanitary napkin includes a shape contoured to a female anatomical groin area, wherein the child sanitary napkin includes flared front and rear terminus areas to increase an adhesive bonding area, wherein the child sanitary napkin includes sizes conforming to children's clothing and age sizes, and age appropriate decorative images including stickers to apply to the child sanitary napkin outer surface.
The article has two wings extending asymmetrically outward from a crotch portion of the main body with respect to the longitudinal axis. The wings each have a means for fastening them to a garment when folded over the main body towards the longitudinal axis. The fastening means for each wing are offset from each other in the longitudinal direction. A method for manufacturing the absorbent article is also disclosed.
Maternal Under Garment
A garment for postnatal women for absorbing postpartum bleeding and providing soothing effects during post-partum recovery. The maternal under garment includes an exterior layer having a waist opening and a pair of leg openings. An interior layer overlaps the exterior layer along a front panel and a rear panel of the garment. An upper perimeter of the front panel includes a V-shape, wherein a nadir of the V-shape is centrally positioned on the front panel to comfortably rest below a stomach area of a woman. The maternal under garment includes an adjustable waist band to retract as the stomach area becomes smaller postpartum. Multiple layers are disposed between the interior and exterior layer, such as an absorbent layer for absorbing postpartum bleeding, a cooling layer for soothing genitals during postpartum recovery, and an antibacterial layer for assisting with pain relief and the healing process after birth.

ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article having a main body that has a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core sandwiched between the topsheet and the backsheet is provided. The main body has mutually perpendicular longitudinal and transversal axes and front, back, and crotch portions. The article has asymmetric first and second wings extending outwardly from the crotch portion in opposite directions. The wings may be fastened to a garment when folded over the main body and towards the longitudinal axis. The wings extend along a common straight line which defines an angle with respect to the transversal axis. The angle exceeds 0 but is less than 45. Each wing has an outer edge which is generally straight and parallel to the longitudinal axis. A method for manufacturing the absorbent article is also provided.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article having a main body having a longitudinal axis, a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core sandwiched between the topsheet and the backsheet is disclosed. The article has two wings, each extending outwardly from a crotch portion of the main body in opposite directions and asymmetrically with respect to the longitudinal axis. The wings have means for fastening the wings to a garment when folded over the main body. Furthermore, each wing has a first edge section and a second edge section, each extending generally alongfirst and second straight lines. The first line defines a first angle (2) with respect to the longitudinal axis and the second line defines a second angle (3) with respect to the longitudinal axis. The magnitude of the angles (2, 3) is chosen so that 2<3. Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing the absorbent article.
