ABSORBENT ARTICLES WITH ELASTOMERIC LAMINATES
An absorbent article includes a topsheet, backsheet and absorbent core disposed between a portion of the topsheet and the backsheet, and an elastomeric laminate. The elastomeric laminate includes a first nonwoven, a second nonwoven, and a preactivated film positioned between the first and second nonwoven; and a plurality of ultrasonic bonds. The absorbent core comprises absorbent material and at least one channel, wherein the at least one channel is substantially free of absorbent material.
DISPOSABLE WEARABLE ARTICLE
To improve the touch feeling of the side portions of a crotch portion. The above-described problem is solved by a disposable wearable article including side flaps without an absorber on both side portions of a crotch portion, the side flap having a side stretchable region in which one or a plurality of elongated side elastic members spaced from each other is provided along the front-back direction. The side flaps have a hollow portion continuing in the front-back direction along side edges thereof, and due to the contraction of the side elastic member, a part of the side flap including the hollow portion contracts in the front-back direction to form a side gather.
ELASTOMERIC LAMINATE WITH CONTROL LAYER AND METHODS THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to absorbent article incorporating elastomeric laminates that may be formed by stretching and joining an elastic strand with either or both first and second substrates using an adhesive. The elastic strands may be sourced from a wound supply, such as a beam of beamed elastic strands. The beam may be treated with a control layer to reducing blocking when the plurality of elastic strands are on the beam and to provide for reliable unwinding. The control layer may be absorbed into an adhesive once the elastic strands are joined with the first and second substrates with the adhesive to form the elastomeric laminate.
PANT-TYPE ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed is a pant type absorbent article having a waist guard portion on the front and/or back elastic belt, wherein the waist guard portion has a specific location in view of the location from the distal edge to the proximal edge relative to the percentage of the seam length LS, the waist guard portion comprising a waist guard elastic portion having a longitudinal dimension of no greater than about 40mm, wherein the remainder of the elastic belt superposing the waist guard elastic portion is defined a correlated portion, wherein the tensile stress of the waist guard elastic portion is higher than that of the correlated portion.
Article with elastic distribution and system and method for making same
A method is described for making an elasticized absorbent article having a waist opening and a pair of leg openings. First, multiple distributions of elastics are applied on a moving material sheet to form a moving web of an elastic composite. Then, each of a core section and a second material sheet is periodically applied onto the moving web to define a finished web of discrete elastic composite bodies. In subsequent steps, discrete absorbent pants articles are shaped from the finished web.
ELASTOMERIC LAMINATE WITH SOFT NONCRIMPED SPUNBOND FIBER WEBS
An absorbent article includes a first waist region, a second waist region, and a crotch region disposed between the first and second waist regions. The article also includes a chassis having a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and backsheet; and an ear joined to the chassis. The ear includes a laminate formed from a first nonwoven and second nonwoven and an elastomeric material sandwiched between said first and second nonwovens. The laminate further includes a plurality of ultrasonic bonds; and the first nonwoven includes an exterior surface having an average TS750 value of 5 db V2 rms or less.
Article with chassis having an elastic distribution, absorbent core and system and method for making same
An absorbent article may include an inner elasticised chassis. An opening may be formed through the inner elasticised chassis. The absorbent article may include an outer elasticised chassis, and an absorbent member located between the inner elasticised chassis and the outer elasticised chassis. The inner elasticised chassis may include sets of elastic strands surrounding the absorbent member. The opening may be located in a space between the sets of elastic strands.
Stretchable and contractible sheet and absorbent article
A stretchable/contractible sheet having an up-down direction and a left-right direction intersecting each other includes a first sheet; a second sheet; welded portions; and elastic members. Elastic members are arranged between the first sheet and the second sheet by welded portions and with a space in the up-down direction. The welded portions include a first welded portion; and a third welded portion. The welded portions further include a second welded portion; and a fourth welded portion. The first welded portion and the third welded portion have portions that overlap in the up-down direction. A length of a portion where the first welded portion and the third welded portion overlap in the up-down direction is larger than a length in the up-down direction between a lowermost end of the first welded portion and a lowermost end of the third welded portion.
Stretchable and contractible sheet and absorbent article
A stretchable/contractible sheet having an up-down direction and a left-right direction intersecting each other is provided. The stretchable and contractible sheet includes: a first welded-portion row including a plurality of welded portions arranged side-by-side in the up-down direction; and a second welded-portion row including the plurality of welded portions located adjacent to the first welded-portion row on a one side in the left-right direction. The first welded-portion row includes: a first convex portion protruding toward the one side; and a second convex portion. The second welded-portion row includes a third convex portion protruding toward another side opposite to the one side in the left-right direction.
Array of absorbent products
An array of products comprising three or more different sizes of disposable pant-type absorbent articles is provided, wherein each of first and second and third disposable pant-type absorbent articles comprises a chassis with a front portion and a back portion, and an absorbent body attached to the chassis, and a length direction and a width direction, wherein the size of the front and rear portion of the first disposable pant-type absorbent articles is smaller than the size of the front and rear portion of the second disposable pant-type absorbent articles, wherein the size of the front and rear portion of the third disposable pant-type absorbent articles is larger than the size of the front and rear portion of the second disposable pant-type absorbent articles, and wherein each of the front and back portions has a waist edge, a pair of leg edges and a pair of side edges and wherein a distance, in the length direction, between the leg edge of the front portion and the leg edge of the back portion, is common for all disposable pant-type absorbent articles of the array of packages when the disposable pant type absorbent articles are in a flat-out uncontracted state and said distance is measured by one of the side edges.
