TAPE-TYPE DISPOSABLE DIAPER

A tape-type disposable diaper wherein lower edges of wing parts of a ventral part have a first part on a base edge side and a second part on a tip end side, which are wavy portions having inward recessed valleys. In the wavy portion of the first part, the obtuse side intersection angle .sub.1 between a tangent contacting both of adjacent valleys and a front-back direction is 160 to 175 degrees. In the wavy portion of the second part, an obtuse side intersection angle .sub.2 between a tangent contacting both of the adjacent valleys and the front-back direction is 120 to 150 degrees. The first part in the front-back direction is 0.15 to 0.30 times the dimension of the crotch portion in the front-back direction, and the second part in the front-back direction is 0.10 to 0.25 times the dimension of the crotch portion in the front-back direction.

TAPE-TYPE DISPOSABLE DIAPER

A diaper is configured to prevent a projecting section from being folded between the diaper and the skin. Lower edges of a wing part have a wavy portion having a plurality of outwardly bulging peaks. A side elastic member is on the width direction center side of the wing part in the side flap portion. A flat gather is contracted in the front-back direction by the side elastic member. An overlapping range is provided where a front-back direction range in which contraction force of the side elastic member acts and part of a front-back direction range of the wavy portion overlap, the maximum elongation of the flat gather is 150 to 350%, the width direction interval between the side elastic member and the wavy portion in the overlapping range is 15 to 50 mm at the maximum and 5 to 20 mm at the minimum.

Elastomeric laminate with soft noncrimped spunbond fiber webs

An absorbent article includes a first waist region, a second waist region, and a crotch region disposed between the first and second waist regions. The article also includes a chassis having a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and backsheet; and an ear joined to the chassis. The ear includes a laminate formed from a first nonwoven and second nonwoven and an elastomeric material sandwiched between said first and second nonwovens. The laminate further includes a plurality of ultrasonic bonds; and the first nonwoven includes an exterior surface having an average TS750 value of 5 db V2rms or less.

An incontinence pant including a main body having a front portion, a back portion, a crotch portion, a waist opening, and two leg openings. An elasticized waist cuff is formed at the waist opening and an elasticized leg cuff is formed at each of the two leg openings. Suspended mesh lining is disposed within the main body and is attached at each of the elasticized waist cuff and the two elasticized leg cuffs. The elasticized cuffs each have a pocket depth of at least 1 inch to form an absorbent area receiving a portion of an absorbent pad to capture leaked fluid.

A diaper state change notification device has a power source, a micro controller capable of generating a notification, a wireless communications chip, and one or more sensors incorporated in the device or coupled thereto, characterized in that the notification device is attached to or otherwise embedded within a diaper and generates and sends a notification to a monitoring entity upon sensor detection of a diaper state change from a fresh diaper state to a soiled diaper state.

Elastic structure for absorbent article and method for manufacturing elastic structure for absorbent article

An object of the present invention is to provide an elastic structure that has straightly extended ridges with excellent appearance, air permeability, and fluffy feel. The object can be attained by an elastic structure in which a first sheet material (12S) and a second sheet material (12H) are joined together to form sheet joined sections (70) by an adhesive (71) applied intermittently in an extending direction and continuously in a direction intersecting with the extending direction, resilient and elastic members (15 and 16) are fixed by the adhesive (71) to at least one of the first sheet material (12S) and the second sheet material (12H) at intersections with the sheet joined sections (70), and when the first sheet material (12S) and the second sheet material (12H) are contracted with contraction of the resilient and elastic members (15 and 16), portions of the first sheet material (12S) and the second sheet material (12H) positioned between the sheet joined sections (70) are swelled in mutually opposite directions to form ridges (80), and the sheet joined sections (70) have a width (70w) of 0.5 to 4 mm in the extending direction and spacing (70d) between the adjacent sheet joined sections (70) is 4 to 8 mm.

ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH EAR PORTION

An absorbent article includes a first waist region, a second waist region and a crotch region disposed between the first and second waist regions. The absorbent article further includes a topsheet, a backsheet, an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, and a laminate. The laminate has an elasticized region. The laminate includes a first nonwoven, a second nonwoven and an elastomeric material sandwiched between said first and second nonwovens in the elasticized region. The laminate includes a bonding region with a bond density of at least 4% and at least partially overlapping the elastomeric material. The laminate exhibits an Unload Force at 50% of at least 0.90 N.
