The angles of intersection are in the range of about 70 degrees to about 110 degrees.
PATTERNED APERTURED NONWOVEN
The present disclosure relates to a nonwoven substrate comprising a plurality of apertures that form a pattern and define a plurality of discrete non-aperture zones. Each of the plurality of discrete non-aperture zones has a periphery formed by a continuous line of apertures, with adjacent apertures being spaced apart by an edge-to-edge distance of no more than 3 mm, while each of the plurality of discrete non-aperture zones is substantially free of apertures within the periphery. Particularly, the area ratio of such plurality of discrete non-aperture zones over the nonwoven substrate ranges from 60% to 90%, and at least some of said plurality of discrete non-aperture zones have an area of 100 mm.sup.2 or more.
MULTI-PLY SHEET PRODUCTION METHOD AND MULTI-PLY SHEET PRODUCTION DEVICE
Provided is a multi-ply sheet production method and a multi-ply sheet production device for producing a multi-ply sheet which uses an elastic member, exhibits stretchability, and has reduced residual strain. The multi-ply sheet production method includes forming a multi-ply sheet by joining a first fibrous sheet, and a second fibrous sheet including a material containing a cellulose-based component, with an elastic member interposed therebetween, the elastic member being in a stretched state and coated with an adhesive on peripheral surface, and then heat-treating the multi-ply sheet at a temperature in accordance with the thermal characteristics of the adhesive.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article having a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction that intersect with one another, the absorbent article includes: an absorbent body that absorbs liquid; a back sheet disposed on a wearer's non-skin side of the absorbent body, the back sheet made of a nonwoven fabric; and an anti-displacement adhesive portion formed with an adhesive, the adhesive provided on a non-skin side of the back sheet, the back sheet including a compressed region that is compressed in the thickness direction, the absorbent article including a portion where the anti-displacement adhesive portion overlaps the compressed region.
NONWOVEN WEBS
A nonwoven web for an absorbent article is provided. The nonwoven web comprises a first surface, a second surface, and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on the first surface or the second surface. The three-dimensional features comprise one or more first regions and a plurality of second regions. The one or more first regions are different than the plurality of second regions in a value of an average intensive property. The one or more first regions comprise a first line, a second line, and a third line extending at least partially intermediate the first line and the second line. The first line and the second line extend in substantially the same direction. The third line extends in a direction transverse to the first line and the second line.
NONWOVEN SUBSTRATE AND ABSORBENT ARTICLES COMPRISING THE SAME
The present disclosure is directed to a nonwoven substrate having a first surface, an opposite second surface, a first layer forming the first surface, and a second layer located below the first layer in the direction of the thickness of the nonwoven substrate. The first layer has a first fiber orientation disorder level, and the second layer has a second fiber orientation disorder level higher than the first fiber orientation disorder level as measured according to Fiber Orientation Disorder Level Test. The present disclosure is also directed to an absorbent article comprising the nonwoven substrate.
PANT-TYPE WEARABLE ARTICLE
Disclosed is a wearable article continuous in a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction comprising front and back elastic belt regions, a crotch region, and a pair of side seams which join the front elastic belt region and the back elastic belt region to form a waist opening and a pair of leg openings. The crotch region extends longitudinally between the front elastic belt region and the back elastic belt region. Eac of the front and back elastic belt region comprises a laminate comprising an inner sheet, an outer sheet, and a plurality of elastic members running in the transverse direction. The outer sheet comprises a garment facing surface and a wearer facing surface. The outer sheet is formed by a multi-fiber layer nonwoven having a basis weight of from about 16gsm to about 35gsm and comprises a garment facing layer and a wearer facing layer.
Diaper structure with enhanced tactile softness attributes and providing relatively low humidity
A disposable diaper is provided. The diaper comprises a topsheet comprising a first nonwoven web. The topsheet has a basis weight greater than 25 gsm, according to the Basis Weight Test herein. The diaper comprises a backsheet comprising a second nonwoven web and a film. The film has a WVTR value of less than 6,500 g/m.sup.2, according to the WVTR Test herein. The diaper comprises an absorbent core comprising an absorbent particulate polymer material disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core is substantially cellulose free. The diaper has a relative humidity of less than 75%, according to the Humidity Test herein.
