Absorbent article or wipe comprising a nonwoven material with bicomponent fibers comprising antimony-free polyethylene terephthalate
An absorbent article is provided, the absorbent article comprising a nonwoven material. The nonwoven material comprises core/sheath bicomponent fibers wherein the core is formed of PET resin. The present disclosure also provides a wipe comprising a nonwoven material, the nonwoven material comprising core/sheath bicomponent fibers wherein the core is formed of PET resin. The PET has less than 150 ppm of antimony.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE HAVING WAIST GASKETING ELEMENT
An absorbent article for wearing about the lower torso of a wearer includes a first waist region having a first waist edge, a second waist region having a second waist edge, and a crotch region disposed between the first and second waist regions. The article further includes a chassis having a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and backsheet. A waist gasketing element is joined to the chassis and disposed in one of the first waist region or the second waist region. The waist gasketing element has a top layer and a bottom layer, and first area, A1. The top layer is bonded to the bottom layer in a closure bond region by a closure bonding technique. The closure bond region has an aggregate closure bond area, BA, which is less than 60% of the first area, A1.
Nonwoven Fabric, Use of Same, and Method for Producing Nonwoven Fabric
The present invention provides: a nonwoven fabric which gives a sufficiently soft touch when touched by a human hand, while being suppressed in slipperiness between nonwoven fabrics during the production process of a product such as a sanitary material; and a method for producing a nonwoven fabric. One embodiment of the present invention provides a nonwoven fabric which is formed of fibers containing a thermoplastic resin, wherein: the average single fiber fineness of the fibers is 0.7 dtex to 4.0 dtex; the fibers contain 0.01% by mass to 1.5% by mass of a fatty acid amide relative to the total mass of the fibers; and the coverage of the surfaces of the fibers by the fatty acid amide is from 20% to 90%.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE COMPRISING AN ADHESIVE COMPOSITION
Described herein is an absorbent article. The absorbent article includes an assembly of components and an adhesive composition joining at least two of the assembly of components together. The adhesive composition includes from about 70 wt. % to about 90 wt. % of one or more copolymers and from about 10 wt. % to about 30 wt. % of one or more heterophase copolymers. The one or more copolymers include from about 30 mole % to about 70 mole % of monomer units selected from ethylene, 1-butene, and mixtures thereof. The one or more copolymers also include from about 30 mole % to about 70 mole % of propene monomer units. The adhesive composition is free of polyisobutylene and has a viscosity of from about 2,000 mPa.Math.s to about 11,500 mPa.Math.s at 150 C.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE COMPRISING AN ADHESIVE COMPOSITION
Described herein is an absorbent article having a longitudinal centerline and a lateral centerline, a front waist region with a front waist edge, a rear waist region with a rear waist edge, a crotch region disposed between the front waist region and the rear waist region, and two spaced apart longitudinal side edges joining the front waist edge to the rear waist edge, wherein the absorbent article comprises an assembly of components, and wherein the absorbent article comprises an adhesive composition. The adhesive composition comprises a copolymer; the adhesive composition has a viscosity of from about 2,000 mPa.Math.s to about 11,500 mPa.Math.s at 150 C., the adhesive composition has a Storage Modulus at 37 C. of from about 3 MPa to 9.5 MPa, and the adhesive composition has a Yield Stress at 37 C. of from about 0.8 MPa to about 1.45 MPa.
Wearable disposable absorbent article
A wearable disposable absorbent article includes a front panel, a back panel, and a crotch panel bridging and at least partially overlapping the front and back panels. A backsheet of the crotch panel has a laminate structure including a liquid barrier sheet and a nonwoven layer arranged on top of each other. The liquid barrier sheet extends over the entire length of the crotch panel and further over at least a portion of each of the front and back panels. The nonwoven layer extends at least over the entire length of the crotch panel but not over a length of more than 40 mm over each of the front and back panels. The width of the nonwoven layer is smaller than the width of the liquid barrier sheet.
IMPROVED FASTENING SYSTEM FOR ABSORBENT ARTICLES
The present invention is a disposable absorbent undergarment, such as an adult brief or baby diaper, having an exterior surface designed to provide improved attachment for one or more fastener members, thereby resulting in improved closure and securement of the undergarment to a wearer.
