ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article capable of giving a sense of security to a user is provided. The absorbent article includes a nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric includes organic cotton fibers and thermoplastic synthetic fibers. The organic cotton fibers form a plurality of fiber lumps in the nonwoven fabric. The surface of the organic cotton fibers is not coated with a petroleum-derived oil agent.
LAMINATE FOR AN ABSORBENT ARTICLE, ABSORBENT ARTICLE COMPRISING SAID LAMINATE AND PROCESS FOR MAKING SUCH LAMINATE
The current invention concerns a laminate (2) for an absorbent article, preferably to be used as the backsheet of said absorbent article, said laminate (2) comprising: a first layer (4) comprising a fibrous material such as a nonwoven material; a second layer (6) comprising a film; a third layer (8) comprising an adhesive; the third layer (8) being arranged between the first (4) and second (6) layer; wherein the adhesive in the third layer (8) is applied in a pattern, said pattern comprising: a first sub-pattern (10) comprising a frame (12) following the perimeter of the laminate (2) and defining an inner surface, said first sub-pattern (10) comprising a first amount of adhesive; a second sub-pattern (14) arranged within the inner surface of the frame (12), said second sub-pattern (14) comprising a second amount of adhesive, the second amount of adhesive being less than the first amount of adhesive. The invention also concerns an absorbent article comprising such laminate and a process for manufacturing such laminate.
Patterned apertured nonwoven
The present disclosure relates to a nonwoven substrate comprising a plurality of apertures that form a pattern and define a plurality of discrete non-aperture zones. Each of the plurality of discrete non-aperture zones has a periphery formed by a continuous line of apertures, with adjacent apertures being spaced apart by an edge-to-edge distance of no more than 3 mm, while each of the plurality of discrete non-aperture zones is substantially free of apertures within the periphery. Particularly, the area ratio of such plurality of discrete non-aperture zones over the nonwoven substrate ranges from 60% to 90%, and at least some of said plurality of discrete non-aperture zones have an area of 100 mm.sup.2 or more.
Nonwoven webs with visually discernible patterns
A nonwoven web for an absorbent article is provided. The nonwoven web comprises a first surface, a second surface, and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on the first surface or the second surface. The three-dimensional features comprise one or more first regions and a plurality of second regions. The one or more first regions are different than the plurality of second regions in a value of an average intensive property. The one or more first regions comprise a first line, a second line, and a third line extending at least partially intermediate the first line and the second line. The first line and the second line extend in substantially the same direction. The third line extends in a direction transverse to the first line and the second line.
Nonwoven webs with one or more repeat units
A nonwoven web for an absorbent article is provided. The nonwoven web includes a first surface and a second surface. The nonwoven web includes a repeat unit comprising a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on the first surface or the second surface. The three-dimensional features comprise one or more first regions and a plurality of second regions. The one or more first regions are different than the plurality of second regions. The one or more first regions comprise a plurality of substantially linear segments. A first group of the plurality of substantially linear segments intersects with a second group of the plurality of substantially linear segments at angles of intersection. The angles of intersection are in the range of about 70 degrees to about 110 degrees.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND PACKAGING
An absorbent article capable of giving a sense of higher security to a user is provided. The absorbent article includes nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric includes organic cotton fibers. The organic cotton fibers form a plurality of fiber lumps in the nonwoven fabric. The fiber lumps are configured to be visible from the outside. The light transmittance of the portion corresponding to the fiber lumps in the nonwoven fabric is lower than the light transmittance of a portion where the fiber lumps are not present in the nonwoven fabric.
WEARABLE DISPOSABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLE
A wearable disposable absorbent article includes a front panel, a back panel, and a crotch panel bridging and at least partially overlapping the front and back panels. A backsheet of the crotch panel has a laminate structure including a liquid barrier sheet and a nonwoven layer arranged on top of each other. The liquid barrier sheet extends over the entire length of the crotch panel and further over at least a portion of each of the front and back panels. The nonwoven layer extends at least over the entire length of the crotch panel but not over a length of more than 40 mm over each of the front and back panels. The width of the nonwoven layer is smaller than the width of the liquid barrier sheet.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE HAVING A NONWOVEN MATERIAL WITH ANTIMONY-FREE POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE
The present disclosure relates to absorbent articles comprising a nonwoven material, the nonwoven material comprising PET resin having less than 150 ppm of antimony. One or more layers of cover materials are covering the nonwoven material both on the wearer-facing surface and on the garment-facing surface, such that the nonwoven material does not form a wearer-facing or garment-facing surface of the absorbent article.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE OR WIPE COMPRISING A NONWOVEN MATERIAL WITH BICOMPONENT FIBERS COMPRISING ANTIMONY-FREE POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE
An absorbent article is provided, the absorbent article comprising a nonwoven material. The nonwoven material comprises core/sheath bicomponent fibers wherein the core is formed of PET resin. The present disclosure also provides a wipe comprising a nonwoven material, the nonwoven material comprising core/sheath bicomponent fibers wherein the core is formed of PET resin. The PET has less than 150 ppm of antimony.
