ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article due to which a product outer surface or an underwear does not easily impart a moist feel while suppressing reduction in a stuffiness-preventing property. The absorbent article includes an absorber; a liquid impervious resin film covering a back surface side of the absorber; and an exterior nonwoven fabric covering a back surface side of the liquid impervious resin film. The liquid impervious resin film having moisture perviousness in a thickness direction, in which a cellulose nanofiber layer is disposed between the liquid impervious resin film and the exterior nonwoven fabric.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorber, a liquid impervious sheet covering a back surface side of the absorber and having air permeability, and a cover nonwoven fabric covering a back surface side of the liquid impervious sheet are provided. The cover nonwoven fabric has a large number of holes penetrating the front surface and back surface at intervals in a region overlapping with the liquid impervious sheet. Edge portions of the holes bend-up toward a front surface side. In a region having the holes in the cover nonwoven fabric, rows of the holes, which are aligned in the front-back direction at intervals in the front-back direction narrower than the dimension in the front-back direction of each of the holes, are repeatedly formed at predetermined intervals in the width direction, and the interval of the adjacent two holes in the width direction is wider than the dimension in the front back-direction of the hole.
UNDERPANTS-TYPE DISPOSABLE DIAPER
A cover nonwoven fabric covers a back surface of an inner member from between a front side outer member and the inner member to between a back side outer member and the inner member. The cover nonwoven fabric extends from a back surface side of a base portion of one side gather to a back surface side of a base portion of the other side gather. The cover nonwoven fabric has holes penetrating the front and back surfaces at intervals from between the front side outer and inner members to between the back side outer and inner members. The side edges of the cover nonwoven fabric are located at the positions same as the side edges of the narrowest part of the absorber in the width direction or on the center side in the width direction with respect to the side edges of the narrowest part.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE COMPRISING ELASTOMERIC STRIPS
The present invention discloses a disposable or wearable absorbent article (1) that includes one or more elastomeric strand(s) (14) and/or strip(s) (16) on/in the backsheet (12) layer, localized in the absorbent core (10) region. The absorbent article (1) is preferably a baby diaper, an incontinence diaper, a pant or a pull up garment. The article may have a topsheet (6), a backsheet (12) and absorbent core (10) disposed between the topsheet (6) and backsheet (12), and a pair of longitudinal side edges. Elastomeric strand(s) (14) and/or strip(s) (16) is attached in longitudinal axis of the backsheet (12) of the absorbent article (1) in stretched form, whereby backsheet takes a crinkled form when it is in relaxed state. The absorbent article (1) fits better on users buttocks without sagging when the article is being worn.
Absorbent article and components thereof having improved softness signals, and methods for manufacturing
An absorbent article having improved softness signals is disclosed. The article may include a topsheet or a backsheet including a nonwoven web. The web may have a basis weight of 30 gsm or less, may be formed of spunlaid fibers including polyolefin and up to 5 percent by weight TiO.sub.2, and may be impressed with a pattern of bond impressions to a bond area percentage of at least 10 percent forming a pattern of bonded regions and raised regions. The web may have opacity of 42 or greater; have an average height difference between bonded regions and raised regions of at least 280 m; be hydroengorged; and/or have a cross-machine direction tensile strength of 350 gf/cm. A nonwoven web manufactured to have a suitable combination of such features exhibits an enhanced appearance of softness, soft tactile feel and satisfactory mechanical attributes, while being relatively cost effective.
GARMENT-LIKE ABSORBENT ARTICLES
Garment-like absorbent articles are disclosed. The garment-like absorbent articles may include two nonwoven components that have coordinating and/or substantially similar repeat patterns of apertures and/or bonds. The two nonwoven components may also have certain repeat unit areas, repeat unit width, and repeat unit lengths to aid in softness and to provide improved aesthetic appearance to consumers.
GARMENT-LIKE ABSORBENT ARTICLES
Garment-like absorbent articles are disclosed. The garment-like absorbent articles may include one or more nonwoven components that having repeating patterns of apertures and/or bonds. The nonwoven components may also have certain repeat unit areas, repeat unit width, and repeat unit lengths to aid in softness and to provide improved aesthetic appearance to consumers.
NONWOVEN WEBS WITH VISUALLY DISCERNIBLE PATTERNS
A nonwoven web for an absorbent article is provided. The nonwoven web comprises a first surface, a second surface, and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on the first surface or the second surface. The three-dimensional features comprise one or more first regions and a plurality of second regions. The one or more first regions are different than the plurality of second regions in a value of an average intensive property. The one or more first regions comprise a first line, a second line, and a third line extending at least partially intermediate the first line and the second line. The first line and the second line extend in substantially the same direction. The third line extends in a direction transverse to the first line and the second line.
ABSORBENT ARTICLES WITH COMPONENTS FOR A UNIFORM APPEARANCE
A taped absorbent article is provided. The taped absorbent article includes a chassis comprising a topsheet, a backsheet, an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet, and an outer cover nonwoven material joined to the backsheet. The outer cover nonwoven material comprises a first mechanical bond pattern. The taped absorbent article includes a discrete ear laminate joined to the chassis. The discrete ear laminate includes a first nonwoven material having a garment-facing surface, a second nonwoven material having a wearer-facing surface, a plurality of ultrasonic bonds, and an elastic member positioned at least partially intermediate the first and second nonwoven materials. The garment-facing surface of the first nonwoven material comprises a second mechanical bond pattern. The first and second mechanical bond patterns are substantially the same. The outer cover nonwoven material is substantially the same as, or the same as, the first nonwoven material.
