SYSTEM FOR OPTIMIZING PLATFORM SETTINGS BASED ON CROP STATE CLASSIFICATION
A system for controlling an operative parameter of a harvesting platform of an agricultural harvesting machine comprises a sensor adapted to provide downed crop information indicative of a characteristic of downed crop in a field to be harvested and an electronic control unit adapted to control an operative parameter of at least one of a reel and a cutter bar table position of the harvesting platform based upon the downed crop information.
SYSTEM FOR DRIVING MATERIAL CUT AND APPLIED ON A CUTTING PLATFORM FOR A GRAIN HARVESTER
The present invention relates to two systems for driving cut material: a trailing system (B1) and a self-cleaning and suspended conveyor system (B2) applied on a cutting platform for grain harvesters, where the material cut by the cutting system is driven from the sides to the center of the platform (14) by element of two chain systems, wherein in the drag system (B1) multiple toes are mounted on a horizontal chain and in the self-cleaning and suspended conveyor system (B2) and multiple cast (perforated) cradles are mounted on the horizontal chain. In this way, both systems, drag and/or drop conveyors, shall be driven by hydraulic or electric motors or a mechanical system and a cutting platform can use one or the other conveyor systems, that is, the drag or suspended systems shall be used.
Agricultural harvester unloading via header structure
An agricultural harvester has a header for harvesting a crop, an on-board container for storing the harvested crop, and a feeder adapted to receive the harvested crop from the header and provide the harvested crop to the on-board container. The agricultural harvester further has a transporter adapted to transport the harvested crop from the on-board container towards a distal end of the header; at least part of the transporter being mounted to the header or the feeder and a discharger in communication with the transporter and adapted to receive the harvester crop as transported by the transporter, at or near the distal end of the header, the discharger having a discharge outlet for discharging the harvested crop.
DRAPER BELT SYSTEM
A draper belt system is provided that includes a first draper frame pivotally coupled to a second draper frame at a pivot joint. The pivot joint includes a central longitudinal axis about which rotation at the pivot joint occurs. The draper belt system includes a draper belt assembly including a first roller rotatably coupled to the first draper frame, a second roller rotatably coupled to the second draper frame, and a third roller rotatably coupled between the first and second draper frames. The third roller includes a central longitudinal axis about which the third roller rotates. The central longitudinal axis of the third roller is the same as the central longitudinal axis of the pivot joint.
DRAPER BELT SYSTEM
A draper belt system is provided that includes a first draper belt assembly with first and second rollers, and a second draper belt assembly with third and fourth rollers. The third roller of the second draper belt assembly is disposed adjacent to the first roller of the first draper belt assembly. The first draper belt assembly is configured to pivot relative to the second draper belt assembly. Pivoting of the first draper belt assembly results in a change in a distance between the first and third rollers.
Draper Head with Multipart Screw Conveyor
A cutting system for a combine harvester has a three-part frame with frame parts articulately joined with each other. A cutter bar, a reel, a central belt conveyor system, and lateral belt conveyor systems for discharging the cut stalk material are supported by the frame. The lateral belt conveyor systems move transversely to the travel direction towards the central belt conveyor system. The central belt conveyor system moves contrary to the travel direction. To prevent accumulation of crop material near the rear wall of the lateral belt conveyor systems, a three-part screw conveyor is arranged near the rear wall and extends across the operating width of the cutting system such that the length of the screw conveyor parts corresponds at least approximately to the width of the frame parts. The screw conveyor parts are powered by a joint drive. Adjacent screw conveyor parts are mutually connected by universal joints.
Adjustable auger hood for a header of an agricultural harvester
A header for a combine harvester, the header including an auger for directing the movement of harvested grain toward a feederhouse of the combine harvester and an adjustable hood positioned above the auger and moveable between a lowered position, a raised position and an intermediate position between the lowered and raised positions. The adjustable hood includes a pivot mechanism and an actuator for moving the adjustable hood between the lowered, raised and intermediate position.
TEXTURED DRAPER BELT FOR AN AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER
A conveyor belt for an agricultural harvesting head includes a base web of elastomer-impregnated fabric; elongate cleats that extend upward from the base web and extend across substantially the entire width of the base web; and a plurality of textured protrusions that extend upward from the web between adjacent elongate cleats, wherein the textured protrusions are organized in rows of pockets between adjacent cleats and extend over substantially the entire width of the base web.
GRAIN SAVING AGRICULTURAL HARVESTING HEAD
An agricultural harvesting head comprises a frame that supports a cutter configured to cut an agricultural product. The agricultural harvesting head also comprises a set of laterally extending and forward tilted feeding tracks that guide the cut agricultural product to a center of the agricultural harvesting head. The set of feeding tracks comprise a base web of elastomer-impregnated fabric, elongated cleats that extend upward from the base web and extend across substantially the entire width of the base web and a plurality of textured protrusions that extend upward from the web between adjacent elongate cleats. The textured protrusions protrude upward from the base web a distance sufficient to catch and hold grain rolling downhill in a direction perpendicular to the direction of travel of the feeding track and extend over substantially the entire width of the base web. A center feeding track configured to receive the cut agricultural product from the set of laterally extending feeding tracks and guide the agricultural product into a body of an agricultural harvester.
EXTENDABLE DRAPER BELT
An agricultural vehicle including a chassis, a feeder housing carried by the chassis, a header coupled to the feeder housing. The header includes a flexible cutter bar and at least one endless belt positioned rearwardly of the flexible cutter bar and configured to travel in a direction of travel for transporting a crop material to the feeder housing. The at least one endless belt includes a first belt having a first width transverse to the direction of travel and a second belt moveably attached to the first belt and having a second width transverse to the direction of travel and a front edge. The second belt includes a plurality of elongated protrusions transverse to the direction of travel and configured for contacting the crop material, and an engaging feature adjacent to the front edge and configured for moving the second belt in accordance with the flexible cutter bar.
