SYSTEMS, KITS AND METHODS FOR LOADING AND DELIVERING A SMALL VOLUME DOSE FROM A SYRINGE
A kit is disclosed for accurately loading a small volume dose of a medication within a syringe and for delivering the small volume dose of the medication at a treatment site. The kit generally includes a loading and delivery system in accordance herewith, a syringe, and a medication. The loading and delivery system includes a syringe delivery ring and a syringe loading guide, which may be used for example, to administer a small volume dose of a medication at the end of an ocular surgery.
Monitoring device
The present disclosure relates to a monitoring device arranged to be operably connected to a medicament delivery device, said medicament delivery device has a manually operated movable dose activating element, said monitoring device having an electronic circuit, said electronic circuit having a light emitting element and a light sensor, wherein said light emitting element and said light sensor are positioned in relation to said dose activating element so as to detect a manual operation of said dose activating element from an initial position.
Medicament delivery device
A medicament delivery device is disclosed having a housing, an actuation mechanism capable of delivering doses of medicament from a medicament container and arranged with a delivery member, a shield, a guard movable within the housing, wherein the guard is operably connected to the actuation mechanism. A protective cap is releasably arranged on the housing and having a shield remover. A blocking element on the guard is movable between a blocking position and a release position and has an engagement surface to engage a proximal area of the housing. The blocking element engages with a surface of the shield remover to retain the blocking element in the blocking position. The engagement surface causes a blocking of the guard from movement and removal of the protective cap enables a movement of the blocking element to a release position when the engagement surface engages the proximal area allowing the member guard to move.
PLUNGING APPARATUS FOR SYRINGE
A plunging apparatus for a syringe is applied to connect with a driving assembly of an injection device and a medicine vial. The plunging apparatus has a pushing element connected with a connection element by a unidirectional check element. The rear end of the connection element is connected with a pushing rod. The front end of the pushing rod has an ejection element and a spring. A threaded collar is mounted around the pushing rod, and an injection rod is mounted in the pushing rod. The connection element is inserted into a rear opening of the medicine vial. Engagement hooks on the ejection element can be pressed by medicine vial. The spring forces the ejection element to move forward to push the pushing element to abut the piston. Accordingly, the medicine vial can be used immediately after being combined with the injection device without discharging air manually.
Flexible electronic label device
A drug delivery device is provided comprising a housing having an exterior surface, drug ex-pelling means comprising an indicator member arranged to move corresponding to an action performed on or by the drug delivery device, and a carrier foil on which is formed or mounted an energy source, electronically controlled communication means, and a processor adapted to (i) receive input from the drug delivery device indicative of indicator member movement and (ii) control the communication means. The flexible carrier foil is mounted on the exterior of the housing, and the flexible carrier foil is covered at least in part by a sealing foil covering directly or indirectly the thereon formed or mounted components, whereby a sealed interior space for the components formed or mounted on the flexible carrier foil is formed between the housing exterior surface and the sealing foil.
Drug Delivery Device and Method for Assembling
The disclosure relates to a drug delivery device comprising a body extending along a longitudinal axis, at least one arm member arranged within the body and extending essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis, and a container retaining a drug, wherein the container comprises a flange that is arranged at an axial position along the longitudinal axis, wherein the flange has at least one first radial edge region having a first radial distance to the longitudinal axis and at least one second radial edge region having a second radial distance to the longitudinal axis, wherein the second radial distance is greater than the first radial distance, and wherein, in the axial position, the at least one arm member is arranged and configured such that at least one aligning feature of the arm member is arranged at a third radial distance to the longitudinal axis that is smaller than the second radial distance.
SYRINGE SUPPORT AND AUTOINJECTOR
The disclosure relates to a syringe support for supporting an axial position of a syringe relative to a housing of an autoinjector. The syringe support comprises a projecting portion, which projects from the syringe support in a distal direction and a flexible portion which axially adjoins the projecting portion. The flexible portion is adapted to axially bias the syringe in the distal direction within the housing. The disclosure further relates to an autoinjector.
Injection Device and Detector Arrangement
The disclosure relates to an injection device for setting and injecting pre-set or user-selectable doses of a medicament, the injection device comprising an elongated housing defining a longitudinal direction and configured to accommodate a cartridge containing the medicament, and a detector arrangement operable to detect a relative movement between a first element and a second element. The first element is subject to a first movement relative to the second element along a first longitudinal direction for setting of a dose, the first element is subject to a second movement relative to the second element along a second longitudinal direction for dispensing of the dose, one of the first movement and the second movement is a helical movement, and the other one of the first movement and the second movement is a sliding movement in the longitudinal direction. The second element comprises at least one reference element fixed to the second element.
AUTO-INJECTOR WITH AUDIO INDICATOR
A drug delivery device includes a housing, a syringe assembly including a barrel, a stopper, and a cannula, with at least a portion of the syringe assembly positioned within the housing, and a drive assembly including a plunger body configured to move the stopper within the barrel upon actuation of the drive assembly, with at least a portion of the drive assembly positioned within the housing. The plunger body has a pre-use position prior to movement of the plunger body, an injection position where the plunger body moves the stopper within the barrel, and a post use position where movement of the plunger body has stopped. The device further includes an audio indicator member configured to provide an audible indication of a transition of the plunger body from the injection position to the post-use position.
