Wireless Iontophoresis Patch And Controller
An iontophoresis system for positioning against skin of a subject is disclosed. The iontophoresis system can comprise at least one vessel having a solvent therein. An anode apparatus can couple to the at least one vessel. The anode apparatus can comprise a first reservoir configured to receive the solvent from the at least one vessel so that, when received into the first reservoir, the solvent makes contact with the skin of the subject, and a first electrode positioned above the first reservoir. A cathode apparatus can couple to the at least one vessel. The cathode apparatus can comprise a second reservoir configured to receive the solvent from the at least one vessel so that, when received into the first reservoir, the solvent makes contact with the skin of the subject, and a second electrode positioned above the second reservoir.
Penetration of cerebral spinal fluid into the brain parenchyma using temporally patterned neuromodulation
Electrical stimulation of specific facial and lingual nerves creates a more sustained pulsatility activity compared to stimulation of other cranial nerves. Pulsatility of arteries has intrinsic time constraints related to the time for vasodilation/constriction and time to return to baseline (T.sub.BL) after electrical stimulation which may affect the pulsatility response. Control of temporal patterning and the stimulation waveform maximizes the physiological response to cerebral pulsatility and its resulting effects on cerebral spinal fluid penetration into the brain parenchyma for a multitude of therapeutic uses including clearing misfolded proteins and/or administered pharmacological agents, diluting endogenous neurochemical concentrations within the brain, and reducing non-synaptic coupling.

Devices for delivery of electrical current to the body and related methods for therapy
A device for delivery of electrical current to an area of the skin includes a first pad shaped in the form of a base having four finger-shaped protrusions; a second pad shaped in the form of a palm having a single thumb-shaped protrusion, where the first pad and the second pad each comprises a conductive layer and preferably has tabs on the edges; a first electrical connection system electrically connected to the conductive layer of the first pad; a second electrical connection system electrically connected to the conductive layer of the second pad; a controller circuit connected to the first electrical connection system and second electrical connection system; and a wearable power source. Alternatively, the device may also have the shape of a foot or other body part.
Biological tissue transdermal patch
A biological tissue transdermal patch houses a battery part and an active ingredient such that they do not come into contact with each other. For the use of the biological tissue transdermal patch, the battery part and the active ingredient are brought into contact to start battery reaction of the battery part and the battery part is attached to a biological tissue. Carbonized bacterial cellulose or cellulose nanofiber carbon is used for a positive electrode of the battery part.
Penetration of Cerebral Spinal Fluid into the Brain Parenchyma Using Temporally Patterned Neuromodulation
Electrical stimulation of specific facial and lingual nerves creates a more sustained pulsatility activity compared to stimulation of other cranial nerves. Pulsatility of arteries has intrinsic time constraints related to the time for vasodilation/constriction and time to return to baseline (TBL) after electrical stimulation which may affect the pulsatility response.
Electrochemical device for releasing ions
The present invention relates to an electrochemical device for releasing ions, comprising an electrical circuit comprising a first electrode and a second electrode adapted for providing a galvanic cell when the electrodes are exposed to a fluid constituting an electrolyte, and a boost converter adapted for amplifying a potential generated between the first and the second electrode. The electrical circuit further comprises a third electrode connected with an output side of the boost converter, wherein the second and the third electrode constitutes an electrolytic cell powered by the galvanic cell when the electrodes are exposed to a fluid.
