The audio stimulation unit broadcast a binaural beats with frequency following response, and the acupoint stimulation unit includes several acupoint agents to output physical stimulation to a user. The phototherapeutic unit includes two near-infrared light groups, and the electronic stimulation unit includes two electrical stimulation agents to output physical stimulation to the user. The display and optical frequency-flashed stimulation unit is switchable between a display mode and an optical frequency-flashed stimulation mode, and the control unit simultaneously controls the audio stimulation unit to broadcast the binaural beats with frequency following response so as to improve the rehabilitation efficiency in patients with cognitive impairment.
Photobiomodulation Therapy Garment, Methods and Uses
The present specification discloses a photobiomodulation therapy garment having a garment structure configured to be donned by a user atop a skin surface with one or more near-infrared light sources integrated with the garment structure. The near-infrared light source is configured to emit near-infrared light directed to one or more regions of interest of the skin at a wavelength between 600 nm to 1600 nm and at a predetermined dosimetry and duration. A controller with a processor and memory is in communication near-infrared light source to control the operational parameters of the near-infrared light source.
BLOOD PRESSURE LOWERING TRAINING DEVICE
A blood pressure lowering training device comprises a head frame unit corresponding to a user's head shape, an audio stimulation unit for broadcasting binaural beats with frequency following response to both ears of the user, a display unit including a display module for displaying a virtual image and blood pressure information and a blood pressure measurement module for measuring blood pressure, and a control unit electrically connected with the audio stimulation unit and the display unit, so that the hypertensive patient can perform a variety of adjustable blood pressure lowering training in one use process, and effectively improve the use intention of the hypertensive patient.
Medical apparatus and method
A medical apparatus and method of operating a medical apparatus are disclosed. The apparatus includes a radiation source for emitting electromagnetic radiation towards one or both eyes of a patient; wherein the apparatus is configured to emit electromagnetic radiation having a ratio of scotopic luminous intensity to photopic luminous intensity of at least 1.85:1.
WEARABLE BRAIN MULTI-STIMULATION PAIN CONTROL DEVICE
A wearable brain multi-stimulation pain control device is provided, comprising a main support unit, an auxiliary support unit, an audio stimulation unit, and an optical frequency-flashed stimulation unit. The main support unit includes two ear portions corresponding to a user’s ears and a front side portion, and the auxiliary support unit includes a mounting portion. Two opposite ends of the mounting portion are pivoted to the main support unit, and the audio stimulation unit includes two speakers that are respectively arranged on the ear portions and can broadcast a binaural beats with frequency following response. The optical frequency-flashed stimulation unit is arranged on the front side portion and can stimulate at least one eye of the user with flickering light, so that the user can obtain multiple stimulations at the same time in a single course of treatment to achieve the effect of improving pain.
Systems and Methods for Transcranial Light Therapy
Systems and methods for transcranial light therapy address the deficiencies inherent in previous light therapy devices. Improved adjustability of the location, placement, and directionality of the applied light, thereby improving efficiency of transcranial light delivery and facilitating customization of fitment of the light therapy devices to users of differently sized and differently shaped human heads and hair is provided. Improved mechanisms and methods for controlling light therapy application at each of a plurality of light application locations are also provided, such that light therapy treatments can be highly customized for each individual and/or therapy purpose. Simultaneous, sequential, or separate ocular visible light therapy is also available, thereby increasing the options for customized therapy modalities. The therapy devices are highly modular, permitting simplified repair and maintenance of device components upon component failure and allowing unnecessary device components to be removed from the device when not being used, thereby increasing user comfort.
Device to prevent retinal hypoxia
A contact lens configured to decrease dark adaptation comprises one or more LEDs and directs light from the LED away from the fovea and toward the parafovea or perifoveal regions of the retain. In some embodiments, soft contact lens embedded with one or more arrays of microLEDs and electronics operating the LEDs is configured to be worn at night in order to inhibit dark adaptation and reduce oxygen consumption by the rods. The contact lens may be made of a single layer of a contact lens material or multiple layers sandwiching a flexible transparent plastic layer comprising the electronics and the LED arrays. The contact lens may be made of a hydrophilic hydrogel material that is biocompatible to the human cornea, or a silicone hydrogel material. The contact lens may be spherical and may provide refractive correction to the eye of the wearer.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF TREATING MEDICAL INDICATIONS BY ADMINISTERING DOSAGES OF LIGHT AND SOUND
A system and method for treating various medical indications is disclosed. Specific dosages of light are delivered to a subject. The dosages may be defined according to various parameters, including light wavelength, pulse frequency, intensity, area within the subject's field of vision, duration, pulse waveform shape, or a combination thereof. The dosages of light may be administered while the subject's eyes are closed. Auditory stimulus may also be provided, in synchronization with the administered dosages of light.
Multifactorial dry eye treatment method
The present embodiments relate to a method of treating dry eyes. The method includes a plurality of visits to an eye doctor with each even numbered visit focused on a first eye and each odd numbered visit focused on a second eye. The plurality of visits comprises use of intense pulsed light (“IPL”) therapy, low level light therapy, an ocular nebulizer, dehydrated amniotic membranes, biologic eye drops, advanced lubricants, eyelid debridement, meibomian gland imaging and a slit lamp.
