Containers with one or more tray retention portions and a support stand are described. For example, a container can include: a substantially hollow body including a plurality of body walls extending vertically from a bottom portion; an extension portion rotatably coupled to an outward-facing surface of a body wall among the plurality of body walls, the extension portion configured to rotate to an active position in which the extension portion extends outwardly from the body wall; and a support stand having a proximal end coupled to the outward-facing surface of the body wall and a distal end, the support stand configured to move between at least a stowed position in which the support stand is positioned against or proximate to the outward-facing surface of the body wall and a support position in which the support stand extends outwardly from the body wall.

The table comprises at least two panels, with hinges between the section such that they may be folded along the intersections of the panels until the folding table is the size of one panel. Additionally, the table panels incorporate sliding locking mechanisms operable to lock the table in an unfolded position. Other features include: a cup holder operable to adjust for various sizes of beverage containers, strap attachment points operable to allow the table to be strapped to a person and kept level, and telescoping legs operable to be attached to the table and used to support it.

The support surface includes a plurality of slats pivotally coupled together, wherein each slat comprises a first end opening and an opposing second end opening. The support surface assembly also includes a plurality of rods associated with a corresponding slat of the plurality of slats. Each rod is positioned entirely within the first end opening of a first slat in the stored position and each rod is positioned partially within the second end opening of an adjacent second slat in the deployed position.

A modular wall includes a plurality of inter-connectable and interchangeable wall modules. At least one of the wall modules includes a recessed, extendable piece of furniture, such as a bed, desk, table, work surface or chair. When in a closed configuration, the furniture folds into or otherwise resides within a recessed pocket in the modular wall. When in the closed configuration, the outer surface of the furniture forms an exterior surface of the wall module; thereby, concealing the furniture seamlessly into the modular wall. The exterior surface can comprise one or more exterior interchangeable tiles.
