LENGTH ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT AND COMPONENTS OF SAME
A length-adjustable support having a telescopic column assembly that includes a rotatable spindle rod configured to telescope an interior tube into and out of an exterior tube, or vice versa, of the telescopic column assembly in order to adjust the length of the length-adjustable support. The column assembly is illustratively attached to a motor housing containing a motor that rotates the spindle rod. In illustrative embodiments, a portion of the spindle rod is attached to the motor housing via a bushing member comprising two complimentary bushing components that surround the spindle rod and support a spindle plate that mates with the spindle rod to rotate therewith. The motor assembly is configured to substantially float within the motor housing and is attached to a flange of the housing by a clip or grommet that retains an attachment arm of the motor assembly.

HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE WORKSTATION AND OUTPUT-ADJUSTING TASK LIGHT
A height-adjustable workstation includes a worksurface and a worksurface actuator for supporting the worksurface above a floor surface. The worksurface actuator is operable to raise and lower the worksurface relative to the floor surface. A display support apparatus secured to the worksurface includes a display support actuator and a display mount. The display support actuator is operable to move the display mount relative to the worksurface between a neutral position and an offset position. The display support actuator is configured to move the display support to the offset position in response to the worksurface being raised above a pre-determined height relative to the floor surface, and to move the display support to the neutral position in response to the worksurface being lowered below the pre-determined height. The height-adjustable workstation may optionally include an output-adjusting task light.

Height-adjustable piece of furniture and cable protector for such a piece of furniture
A height-adjustable piece of furniture includes a lower part, an upper part, an actuating device, first and second reference sections and a deformation sensor. Distance between the lower and upper parts can be adjusted by the actuating device. The deformation sensor is arranged to detect change between the first and second reference sections and is connected to the actuating device such that a signal of the deformation sensor can be transmitted to the actuating device. The actuating device is configured to stop the change in distance between the lower and upper parts if the signal transmitted by the deformation sensor corresponds to a change in distance that exceeds predefined threshold values. A cable protector is also provided for a cable to be mounted, and is coupled to the first and second reference sections such that tensile force acting on the cable causes change between the first and second reference sections.
