Exostructure to assist in accurate syringe injection
A syringe exostructure includes a main body which removably receives a syringe having a syringe barrel and a syringe plunger. A drive plunger is reciprocatably mounted on the main body, and a plunger bar is slidably received in an axial channel on the drive plunger. The plunger bar is configured to removably couple to the syringe plunger when the syringe is introduced into the main body. A drive pawl assembly is fixed to an upper surface of the drive plunger and transfers forward motion of the drive plunger to the plunger bar as the drive plunger is advanced and disengages from the plunger bar when the drive plunger is retracted. A locking pawl assembly is fixed to the main body and extends through a slot formed in the bottom of the axial channel in the drive plunger. The locking pawl engages the plunger bar and allows the plunger bar to be advanced by the drive plunger as the drive plunger is advanced but prevents the plunger bar from being retracted by the drive plunger as the drive plunger is retracted.
Syringe-type ejector
The syringe dispenser includes a syringe and a plunger. The plunger includes a first shaft member including a piston and second shaft member configured to be fitted in a tubular portion of the first shaft member. The first shaft member includes an elastic piece, the elastic piece being provided with a slide projection configured to slide on an inner surface of the syringe and a lock projection configured to be locked against the syringe. The second shaft member includes a pressing shaft configured to be fitted in the tubular portion. The pressing shaft is provided in a front end thereof with an end surface configured to press a free end of the elastic piece. In response to pressing from the end surface, the lock projection is locked against the rear end of the syringe, and in response to the pressing being released, the locking of the lock projection is released.
Track-indexed syringe
A syringe including a barrel, a plunger moveably arranged within the barrel and a plunger rod for driving the plunger, and an engagement member arranged at the barrel to engage with a grooved surface on the plunger rod. This will create feedback given to a user as the plunger rod is moved relative to the barrel for driving the plunger within the barrel. The barrel and the engagement member are arranged relative to each other such that the engagement member, due to the engagement with the grooved surface of the plunger rod, will move solely in a direction generally perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the plunger rod as the plunger rod is moved relative to the barrel.
PEN INJECTOR WITH DRIVE MEMBER AND REDUCER ARM SET
A portable self-administrable medication delivery device with End of Life feature includes a housing, a drive member within said housing, a locking element and a medicine filled container. The device further provides a Partial Dose Prevention feature to deliver an accurate amount of dose with precision. The device is capable of delivering multiple doses of a liquid medicament contained therein without the need of priming the injector prior to administration and allows for repeated administration of a dose of medicament in a simple, easy, safe and accurate manner.
Injection device with dose size adjuster
The present disclosure relates to an injection device configured to expel a dose of a medicament, the injection device comprising: an elongated housing extending in a longitudinal direction, a piston rod movable relative to the housing in a longitudinal distal direction to exert a dispensing pressure onto a bung of a cartridge at least partially filled with an injectable medicament, a rod extension movably arranged on or in a distal end of the piston rod, a driver operably engaged with the piston rod and movable relative to the housing in a longitudinal proximal direction for setting of the dose and movable relative to the housing in the longitudinal distal direction for dispensing of the dose, and an adjuster arranged on or in the driver and operably engaged with the rod extension to move the rod extension in longitudinal direction relative to the piston rod.
TRACK-INDEXED SYRINGE
The present invention relates to a finger grip (1) arranged to be connected to a syringe barrel having a plunger and a plunger rod for driving said plunger. The finger grip comprises a body having a lower side with finger supporting surfaces (13) for supporting fingers of a user during handling and an engagement member (5) being moveable between an inactive position where the engagement member is arranged not to engage with the plunger rod of the syringe barrel and an active position where the engagement member is arranged to engage with a grooved surface on the plunger rod of the syringe such that feedback is given to a user as the plunger is moved relative to the finger grip. An activation member (7) for moving the engagement member from said inactive position to said active position is built-in into the finger grip.
GENERATING AUGMENTED REALITY IMAGES USING SENSOR AND LOCATION DATA
Embodiments relate to using sensor data and location data from a device to generate augmented reality images. A mobile device pose can be determined (a geographic position, direction and a three dimensional orientation of the device) within a location. A type of destination in the location can be identified and multiple destinations can be identified, with the mobile device receiving queue information about the identified destinations from a server. A first image can be captured. Based on the queue information, one of the identified destinations can be selected. The geographic position of each identified destination can be identified, and these positions can be combined with the mobile device pose to generate a second image. Finally, an augmented reality image can be generated by combining the first image and the second image, the augmented reality image identifying the selected one destination.
Delivery Device
The present invention relates to a delivery device for delivering predetermined amounts of fluid, comprising a body (10), a container (16) filled with fluid to be delivered arranged inside said body, said container comprising an opening for expelling said fluid and a wall (18) movable inside said container (16), a threaded plunger rod (46) arranged movable inside said body (10) in the longitudinal direction and in contact with said movable wail (18), a manually operated push means (14, 60) movable in the longitudinal direction capable of, upon operation, move said plunger rod (46) towards said movable wall (18), thereby expelling fluid, and means for transforming a generally linear movement of said push means (14, 60) to a rotational movement of said plunger rod (46).
Liquid disperser
A dispenser for dispensing a metered amount of a liquid comprises a body having sidewalls defining a hollow interior and an opening at a forward end of the body, a cartridge having a reservoir adapted to contain a liquid and an outlet at the forward end of the cartridge, the cartridge being sized and shaped to be positioned in the hollow interior of the body so that the outlet is aligned with the opening in the body. A plunger is positionable in the reservoir and slidable within the reservoir, and a metering unit comprises a plunger advancement mechanism that can cause the plunger to slide within the reservoir, the metering unit causing the plunger advancement mechanism to advance the plunger a predetermined amount. The metering unit is configured to cause advancement the plunger in the reservoir to apply pressure on the liquid in the reservoir and cause a droplet of the liquid to be dispensed through the outlet. The dispenser produces a droplet of from about 0.5 l to about 10.0 l. In one version, a droplet to droplet consistency of 0.2 l. In one version, the metering unit provides feedback to a user when the plunger has been advanced the predetermined distance.
