Systems and methods for selecting, activating, or selecting and activating transducers

Transducer-based systems can be configured to display a graphical representation of a transducer-based device, the graphical representation including graphical elements corresponding to transducers of the transducer-based device, and also including between graphical elements respectively associated with a set of the transducers and respectively associated with a region of space between the transducers of the transducer-based device. Selection of graphical elements and/or between graphical elements can cause activation of the set of transducers associated with the selected elements. Selection of a plurality of graphical elements and/or between graphical elements can cause visual display of a corresponding activation path in the graphical representation. Visual characteristics of graphical elements and between graphical elements can change based on an activation-status of the corresponding transducers. Activation requests for a set of transducers can be denied if it is determined that a transducer in the set of transducers is unacceptable for activation.

CLOUD-BASED SENSOR OPERATION ADAPTED TO PATIENT BEHAVIOR

Systems, devices, and methods for remote monitoring and managing of patients with chronic pain are discussed. A remote monitoring system comprises one or more sensors to sense physiological or functional information from the patient, a cloud-computing device communicatively coupled to the one or more sensors, and a remote device. The cloud-computing device receives patient data including physiological or functional information, and provides on-demand cloud-based services including storing the received patient data in a cloud storage, detecting a patient behavior, and generating a sensor operation recommendation based on the detected patient behavior. The remote device can access the cloud storage and the cloud-based services, and adjust operations of the one or more sensors in accordance with the sensor operation recommendation.

Modular cardiac rhythm management using Q to LV activation measures

Methods and systems for use of the Q-wave to R-wave interval to guide placement of a leadless cardiac pacemaker are disclosed. An implant delivery device is equipped with sensing electrodes to sense R-wave onset in a ventricle of a patient's heart to allow placement at a location of last or latest onset of the R-wave. Guidance tools are provided to assist in determination of the Q-wave to R-wave interval during implantation. For a chronic system, a cooperative approach is disclosed in which an implantable medical device and a leadless cardiac pacemaker exchange data to determine Q-wave to R-wave intervals and enhance cardiac resynchronization therapy delivery by the leadless cardiac pacemaker.

Computer-implemented methods and systems are provided that receive, at an implantable medical device (IMD), a programming package comprising a collection of configuration change requests, transaction credentials, and a signature indicative of a source of the programming package. The transaction credentials include a first hash of the collection of configuration change requests. The IMD validates an external device as the source by decrypting the signature using a key that is uniquely associated with the external device. The IMD verifies the transaction credentials and the configuration change requests of the programming package, and generates a second hash of the collection of configuration change requests. Responsive to both (i) the second hash matching the first hash and (ii) the transaction credentials and the configuration change requests being verified, the IMD executes the collection of configuration change requests to update an operating configuration of the IMD.
