INJECTION PEN
An injection pen, comprising a housing, a lead screw axially moveable in the housing, a dose set member for dose setting and dose correcting, threadably connected to the housing and having a first mating feature, a setback member having a second mating feature for engaging the first mating feature, a clicker that generates an audible or tactile indication during operation, the clicker being operatively connected to the dose set member, and a push button operatively connected to the setback member to cause the second mating feature to engage the first mating feature during an injection, the push button receiving the clicker, wherein the first mating feature is disengaged from the second mating feature during dose setting and dose correcting and engaged with the second mating feature during an injection.
Injection Device with an Electronic Detector
The present disclosure relates to an injection device for administering of a dose of a medicament. The injection device includes a housing that configured to accommodates a cartridge filled with the medicament, a first component movable relative to the housing along the longitudinal direction between an initial position and a trigger position for dispensing of the dose of the medicament, a second component rotatable relative to the housing for at least one of setting of the dose or dispensing of the dose, a cavity provided in or formed by at least one of the first component and the second component, the cavity been sized to accommodate an electronic detector, and at least a first gasket fastened to one of the housing, the first component and the second component and configured to seal the cavity against ingress of impurities at least while the first component is in the initial position.
DOSE SETTING DEVICE FOR AN INJECTION DEVICE
A dosing device for an injection device, the dosing device including an actuating element for adjusting and/or dispensing a dose from the injection device, a thrust element for generating a forward movement for discharging a dose and a coupling to which the actuating element and the thrust element are coupled such that a rotational movement of the actuating element is transmitted directly to the thrust element and an axial movement of the actuating element is different than an axial movement of the thrust element.
Window Element and Drug Delivery Device
The present disclosure is directed to a window element and a drug delivery device, like a pen-type injector, that provides for administration by injection of medicinal products from a multidose cartridge. The drug delivery device may comprise a housing, a dose setting member, a dial, a drive member, a clutch and/or a clicker. The window element comprises a first member with a window and being made from a rigid material, a second member and a third member, each made from an elastically deformable material and being attached to the first member.
DRUG INJECTION DEVICE WITH RESETTABLE MECHANISM ALLOWING PISTON ROD RETRACTION UPON DRUG CARTRIDGE CHANGE
A drug delivery device for selecting and dispensing a number of user variable doses of a medicament. The device comprises a housing, a dose setting element rotatable relative to the housing during dose setting and dose dispensing, a drive member coupled to the dose setting member via a clutch, and a piston rod coupled to the housing and to the drive member Further, the device further comprises a cartridge holder removably attached to the housing and a reset element, which is permanently rotationally constrained to the housing and rotationally constrained to the drive member during dose setting, and at least one spring acting on the reset element, such that, if the cartridge holder is detached from the housing, the reset element is axially moved relative to the housing into a position in which the drive member is allowed to rotate relative to the housing
DOSE SETTING MECHANISM AND DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE WITH RATCHET MECHANISM
A dose setting mechanism comprising a first element and a second element; the first element being moveable with respect to the second element; the first element and the second element being coupled by a ratchet mechanism allowing motion of the first element with respect to the second element from a first position to a second position only in a first direction while preventing motion in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction; once passing the second position, the first element being moveable with respect to the second element in the first direction and in the second direction.
Drive mechanism for a medication delivery device and medication delivery device
A piston rod is arranged in a body and provided with a helical element and an axial element. A guide element, which is arranged in the body and fixed relatively to the body, is coupled to the helical element to guide a helical movement of the piston rod and coupled to the axial element to guide an axial movement of the piston rod. The axial movement allows a priming of the device preceding the helical movement of the piston rod.
Dispensing speed control mechanism and injection device
The present invention relates to a dispensing speed control mechanism for use in an injection device. The injection device may have a housing (10, 30, 40; 40′; 40″; 40′″) and a drive member (70), which is driven by a power reservoir (100, 100′) and axially movable between a dose setting position, in which the drive member (70) is rotationally constrained to the housing (10, 30, 40; 40′; 40″; 40′″), and a dose dispensing position, in which the drive member (70) is rotationally de-coupled from the housing (10, 30, 40; 40′; 40″; 40′″). The speed control mechanism comprises friction means (42) for retarding the drive member (70) during dose dispensing depending on the axial position of the drive member (70). Further, the invention relates to an injection device with such a dispensing speed control mechanism.
Connecting module and syringe having such a connecting module
A connecting module is provided with a first connecting component, which has a first fluid channel and a first contact surface, a second connecting component, which has a second fluid channel and a second contact surface. One of the two contact surfaces is formed as an inner surface and the other of the two contact surfaces is formed as an outer surface which is complementary to the inner surface. The connecting module further includes a receiving sleeve with a first threaded section and a first connecting device for the first connecting component. The first connecting component has a second connecting device, which interacts with the first connecting device in such a way that the first connecting component is detachably connected to the receiving sleeve. The second connecting component has a second threaded section which is complementary to the first threaded section.
