Rotary dosage sensing module for and in a disposable pen drug delivery device
A dosage sensing module for or in a pen drug delivery device and comprising a power source unit, a processor unit and a dosage sensor unit with a first sensor part adapted to be fixed to a part not rotating during dose expelling and comprising a flexible printed circuit board sheet on which a pattern of individual electrical conductive sensor areas are arranged. The sensor unit further comprises a second sensor part adapted to be fixed to the piston rod to follow the rotation thereof during dose expelling. The second sensor part comprises individual structures that together with the conductive sensor areas are adapted to, upon relative rotational movement between the first and second sensor part, provide electrical signals to a processor unit indicative of the relative rotational position between the first and second sensor part.

Dosing mechanism for an injection device for administering a product
A dosing mechanism for an injection device includes a dose-setting element with a first element coupled thereto, which, during dose setting, is rotatable relative to a second element about a main rotation axis in a first direction and, during dose discharge, is fixed in rotation relative to the second element. The first and the second elements are coupled via a sleeve-shaped stop element, which forms a stop abutment. The dosing mechanism includes a stop, and the stop abutment, during the rotation of the first element in the first direction, executes a movement to a stop position where the stop abutment strikes the stop and prevents rotation of the first element relative to the second element in the first direction of rotation. The sleeve-shaped stop element is rotatable about a secondary rotation axis, which is offset parallel to or offset at an angle to the main rotation axis.
Assembly for a drug delivery device and drug delivery device
A drug delivery device includes a housing and a movable member, which is arranged to be rotatable in an incrementing direction and a decrementing direction, the movable member being operatively coupled to an energy storage member and biased to rotate into the decrementing direction by energy stored or storable in the energy storage member. Rotation of the movable member in the incrementing direction increases the energy stored in the energy storage member. The drug delivery device also includes a locking system including a locking feature, a block feature, and a release member, wherein the locking feature is arranged to cooperate with the block feature to form a releasable locking interface configured such that, when the releasable locking interface is established, rotational movement of the movable member relative to the housing is blocked in the decrementing direction, and when the releasable locking interface is released, the movable member is rotatable in the decrementing direction.
A Drug Delivery Device Mitigating Dose Measurement Errors
A drug delivery device, comprising housing comprising one or more bridging contacts; a movable dial located at least partially within the housing and arranged to move relative to the one or more bridging contacts, the movable dial comprising a series of conductive strips on an exterior surface of the movable dial, wherein the one or more bridging contacts selectively connect and disconnect conductive strips of the series of conductive strips as the movable dial moves to provide alternating electrical signals; at least one electronic component configured to: detect the alternating electrical signals; determine whether the alternating electrical signals are indicative of contact between conductive strips of the series of conductive strips and the one or more bridging contacts; and based on the alternating electrical signals, determine a medicament dosage programmed into the drug delivery device.
Drug delivery device with removably attachable sensor device
The present disclosure relates to a drug delivery device for setting and injecting of a dose of an injectable medicament, the drug delivery device comprising: an elongated housing extending along a longitudinal axis and having a sidewall with at least a first aperture, at least one number sleeve rotatably supported inside the housing and comprising an outer surface, wherein a first portion of the outer surface is visible through the first aperture and wherein the number sleeve comprises a non-visible code in the region of the first portion.
Prefilled drug delivery device with reduced air gap
A method of assembling a drug delivery device, comprising the steps of: inserting a piston rod in a nut portion of a cartridge assembly and rotating the piston rod until the piston rod distal end engages the cartridge piston, mounting a drive member on the piston rod in a rota-tional position being closest to a pre-determined rotational position, and rotating the drive member to the pre-determined rotational position.
Dose setting assembly with slack reducing feature
Add-on device for a drug delivery pen device, comprising a drive member adapted for coupling to a dose dial member of the pen device, a dial member adapted to rotate the drive member in first and second directions to set/adjust a pen dose, a release member axially moveable to actuate a pen device release button, a linear-to-rotational converter mechanism adapted to convert axial movement of the release member to rotational movement of the drive member in a first direction, whereby, when the add-on device is mounted on the drug delivery pen device: the dose dial member of the pen device is biased in the first direction by the drive member thereby taking up rotational slack in the pen device.
Data collection from a medicament delivery device
A data collection apparatus comprises a camera configured to obtain first and second recordings of at least a portion of a medicament delivery device, said portion including a first component and a second component, the first component being configured to move relative to the second component as medicament is expelled from the medicament delivery device. The data collection apparatus also comprises a processing arrangement configured to determine, from said first and second recordings, positions in the first and second recordings of the first component relative to the second component, and determine an amount of medicament that has been expelled by the medicament delivery device by comparing the position, in the first recording, of the first component relative to the second component with a position, in the second recording, of the first component relative to the second component.
DRUG INJECTION CONTROL DEVICE HAVING STRUCTURE IN WHICH ROD LOCK SCREW-COUPLED TO PISTON ROD CAN MAKE LINEAR MOTION UNDER RESTRICTED ROTATION WITHIN ROD HOLDER
A drug injection control device has a structure in which a rod lock screw-coupled to a piston rod can make a linear motion under restricted rotation within a rod holder with the rotation of a rod guide and the sub-linear motion of the piston rod. When the injection amount of drug is preset through an injection amount setting module to make a rotational motion with a dose dial in a housing to set the amount of drug to be injected by storing the twisting moment in a torsion spring, in actuating a drug delivery module switchably coupled to the injection amount setting module, the rod lock can make a linear motion by the sliding motion of a lock protrusion through a lock guide formed through the rod holder along the lengthwise direction on the rotation of the rod guide and the sub-linear motion of the piston rod.
